Salem saw the tear and knew she had gotten control this time. He moved his hand around her back to rest between her shoulder blades, pulling her to his chest as he hugged her, his other hand on the back of her head. "It's alright," he said softly, speaking to her like he had so many times to Havel, trying to calm her with the same gentle voice.

Hantu hugged her back and sighed, resting her chin on the top of Corra's head.

Sae choked out a sob, and she hugged Salem back, trembling a little bit, but she ignored it.

Corra smiled, and she continued to hug her, being all cute and lovable. She then looked up," I wonder how bad it is raining."

Before Hantu could open her mouth to speak, a rumble of thunder exploded outside, making her jump.

Salem listened to a crack of lightning overhead, followed by the bellow of thunder as Sae sobbed in his arms. He rocked her gently from side to side, his hands still placed one on the back of her head and the other between her shoulder blades. He didn't know what else to say to her. He didn't know what had caused her to be the way she was, but if he could, he would help her get through it. "It's alright, I'm here," he said softly, resting his chin on the top of her head.

Corra cried out in surprise, mostly fear, and she hugged Hantu tighter, shaking.
Reika jumped, and she looked towards the hut door, but then thought twice.

Sae jumped when she heard the thunder, but she relaxed in Salem's arms, feeling comforted by his presence now. She trembled a little, and she murmured quietly, but loud enough for Salem to hear," thank you.."

[Malcasia]

"Shhh, it's just thunder. It's alright," Hantu said, hugging Corra. Then something came to mind. "Little child, be not afraid, the rain pounds harsh against the glass like an unwanted stranger, there is no danger, I am here tonight," She rubbed Corra's back as she sang. "Little child, be not afraid, the wind makes creatures of our trees, the branches to hands, they're not real understand, I am here tonight. And some day you'll know, that nature is so, this same rain that draws you near me, falls on rivers and land, on forests and sand, makes the beautiful world that you see, in the morning,"

Salem nodded, smiling lightly. "You are welcome," he said gently, looking at her. Salem turned when he heard a groan, seeing Havel sat up. Havel looked over toward Salem and Sae as he stood up, walking sleepily over toward them. "Is the lady ok?" Havel asked, looking from Sae to Salem with drowsy eyes. "I heard her crying,"

Corra looked up at Hantu, hearing her beautiful singing, and she relaxed a tiny bit, resting her head on Hantu's chest, and closed her eyes a little, hugging Hantu.

Sae looked over slowly, and she smiled weakly," It's okay, I'm fine." she said in a soft, sweet voice that she hasn't completely had before.

Hantu continued to sing, hoping to get Corra to relax a little more.

Havel smiled a little and nodded. "Ok," He said and went back over to lay down where he had been, almost instantly falling back to sleep. Salem laughed lightly and looked at Sae. "Are you sure you are ok?" He asked.

Corra slowly began to drift into sleep, growing soothed by Hantu's singing.

Sae nodded a little, looking at her feet," I'll be fine...now that I got that over with. What really helped my other side was Zedge's arrogance, I am guessing.." She said, and smiled slightly, then frowned.

Salem nodded. "He's been that way ever since his mother died. He seems to find blaming everyone else for her illness a lot easier than trying to cope," He said.

Hantu smiled while Corra drifted off into sleep, humming the tune to the song as she rocked her gently in her arms.

Sae looked over at Zedge's figure, and she said softly," aw..that's sad to hear.."

Corra finally fell asleep, cuddling against Hantu as she slept.
