Jace just smiled. He drove back to the garage and dropped the car off. "I suppose we should change before we go.. im still a bit wet."

"Yea... That might be smart... But that would mean having to go back to my house; I don't have anything here to change into..." Ash murmured, really not minding being slightly damp, as she was pretty sure she'd dry off eventually just from walking around.

Jace nodded. "Let me just grab some clothes." he ran up to his apartment, leaving her standing there.

Ash rolled her eyes, leaning against the wall of the building. She thought about lighting up a cigarette to pass time, but then she thought better of it, figuring that he wouldn't approve of some of her newer tendencies.

Jace came down a few miniutes later. As he walked up to her he said "So you've taken up smoking?"

"Hmmm? Oh, yea... I started about a year or two ago... Don't really remember," Ash murmured, playing with the laces of her corset, practically refusing to meet his gaze right then. She wasn't proud of some of the things she had done while they were apart, but she knew that she couldn't really change the past.

Jace nodded, not really careing of her habits. "I smoked for a while in the 1960's, but havent done it since then."

"It wasn't that great in the 60s... Much better things to be doing..." Ash murmured with a laugh, knowing that she had been one of those hippies that tied themselves to trees and sat in circles smoking all day. She looked up at him, smiling a bit. "Shall we head back to my house then?"

"Yes" Jace simply said, following her. It was about noon now, and the sun was high in the sky.

Ash moved quickly, sticking to the treeline as she did so. The sun didn't cause her too many issues, but she wasn't particularly fond of it either. She made it back to her house quite quickly, slipping inside and heading up the stairs. She changed into something dry and headed back out to him, smiling as she did so.
