He nodded "Exactly, in this particular potion. Dragon Blood have diffrent properties depending on the other ingridients of course, but with the other ingridients in this spesific potion it works like a binding agent" he said polietly

"Okay, perfect." Davina said, closing the book and slipping it back into her bag, "Once I know what all the ingredients actually DO, I can figure out the rest of it." She smiled at the two boys, "Thank you for your help."

He smiled politely "No problem, I'm happy to help" he said politely "Well it was wonderful meeting you all, but i have some work i need to get too" he said to give a reason so it wouldn't seem to suspicus that he wanted to leave

"Yeah, I have to go to...." He mumbled as he looked around again, trying to find a way out of this conversation.

"I really should be studying for potions too, how about we grab a quiet corner of the library?" Davina suggested, smiling, "That way if any of us gets stuck, or rather, if I get stuck, we could ask the others for help?"

Ater nodded and was about to leave when his black owl swoped in through a window screeching madly, Ater bit his lip so not to groan in frustation "Sorry about my owl, he gets quite mad if i dont pick up my mail from him" he said and the owl grumpily sat down on Ater's shoulder dropping a letter and a few newspappers in Ater's arms and then started to grumpily nibbel on Ater's hair. Ater looked through his mail and saw the letter, he read who it was from and his facial expession changed instantly to a mix of fear,anger and concern. He just stared at it for a while before shaking his head and clearing his throat. "Well we should be of now" he said and smiled politly, turned on his heals and started to walk.

Davina blinked, a little confused, but followed after him, not because she was actually following him, but because that was the direction of the library. She left several feet between her and Ater, unsure if she should press him as to what was wrong. As a calico head poked out of her bag she reached down and scratched her cat's head, "Hey Minerva." she cooed softly. She still regretted not learning all the staff's first names before naming her cat, but nothing could be done about it now.

Not realising that Davina was still in line to see him, Ater didn't even care to try and hide the fact that he wasn't going to the library. He took a turn and walked into an empty hallway looking quickly around before positioning himself so his back would be facing the wal. He took the letter and opened it his hands shaking slightly. He carefully unfolded the paper and scanned it, his eyes widend and he stresfully dragged a hand trough his hair. He read it through once more and started to pace on the spot. He put the letter away and sighed heavily. He streached his back and went back to look like nothing had just happend and sat down against the wall, took out a piece of papper and a quil and started writing

Davina approached the hallway, just in time to see Ater tuck the letter away and sink to the ground, beginning to write. She hesitated near the end of the hall, unsure if she should ask him about the letter. Still undecided, she pretended not to see him, instead leaning against the wall and pulling out her potions book and attempting to study.
