Zan grabbed onto Fred's shoulders, dimly registering his face, his voice. Fred, Fred. "It's... It's ok. Get Mattie.." She nodded over at the shae on the groun, nothing more than a silhouette to her, Mattie, in the middle of the battle, unconscious and helpless.
Then her knees buckled and she fell towards Fred's arms, the world fading away.

Merr shook his head. "Nope. I'm staying right here..." He smirked, growling. "I'm expecting help from a certain pissed half-brother of mine..." With a shrug, and another smile, he got to his feet. "If I can get Z to hurt me again, Sombra would come running."

"I'll wait for that" smiled Kat. "Beth?"

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I'd rather do that then take a visit to the underworld, thank you very much." The sarcasm in her voice was withering.

"Zan..." Fred trailed off as Zan passed out. He leant down and kissed her forehead. It had been a natural reflex, but as soon as he had done it he realised what he had done. He had kissed Zan. Kissed her. He shook his head, and shifted, attempting to get over to Mattie.

"Yuor choice" she shrugged. "I'll get lost then shall I? Any messages for outside?"

Sombra scowled in disgust as Fred kissed Zan. "YOu can do that later, we have a more pressing matter right now!" He growled, dislocating the Stealer's shoulder with a small jerk of his arm.

Fred blushed, which looked strange as he was in wolf form. He ran over and tried to pick up Mattie, to put her on his back. It wouldn't work. He knew he would to shift to get her, and that would be dangerous...

Beth looked down, and in a small voice said, "Kat... if you're going to use the underworld pass, could I come with you to see Mickey? I want to tell him that he was a father. Is that possible?" She looked up at the end of this statement, and gave Kat puppy dog eyes.

"Maybe. If you hide. Hades hates breathers..." said Kat.

Beth's eyes glowed. "Really? I ... I could? But ..." a small frown forming, "where would I hide?"
