“We can’t even begin to imagine what the Decepticon might have wanted at this time. However, rest assured that we will help you find out. In the meantime, you will be safe with us.” Optimus replied. “Yeah, we’ll knock the blocks off of any Decepticon that dares cross us! Especially after that incident with Fang!” Ironhide piped in. He’d been eager to take revenge ever the rescue mission.

Optimus could see the confusion in the femme’s optics. “One of our younglings. He was taken by Decepticons and used as a bargaining chip. They tormented him as well, and he was badly damaged when he was finally rescued.” The leader explained sadly.

Echo covered her mouth in shock. "Those monsters! Harming a youngling."

"I'm okay now." Fang's voice said from behind the group.

Jazz and Ironhide seemed relieved that the youngling had healed so quickly. “It’s good to see you walking around again, little guy.” Jazz chuckled. “Yeah, you had us worried for a while. Tink only let Optimus go see you in the medical bay.” Ironhide added.

Optimus was relieved as well, gently picking up Fang. “Fang, this is Echo. Over there is Nightshade. I don’t believe you’ve gotten to meet either of them yet, have you?”

Fang smiled at Jazz. "Tink said I could walk around as long as I don't overdo it." He explained. Although he did look better, his once broken arm was in a sling. Fang looked at the new femmes as Optimus introduced them. "I haven't, but I did hear Megatron say Nightshade's name." He said before waving a greeting to the two.

Optimus gestured for the two femmes to come closer. “Nightshade and Echo are going to be staying with us from now on.” He said. He thought introducing them to a youngling would help them feel more at ease.

"Thank you, Optimus." Nightshade said smiling kindly at him.

Echo smiled as well, glad that she had somewhere with others that cared for her.

Optimus gave Fang a playful tickle before setting him down. Ironhide and Jazz watched with amusement. “Prime is good with femmes AND younglings.” Ironhide commented. “Unlike you.” Jazz teased, earning a gentle punch to the shoulder.
