Avano crouched low on the roof,Her Bō tucked under her arm. She bit her lip as she began to hear voices on the other side of the roof, but the didn't sound as if they'd been infected. She'd be fine for now,but judging from the words of one of them,a whole truck load of zombies were storming the house. The girl began to duck walk toward the other side so she could position herself with the others. There was safety in numbers right? Hopefully that particular principle didn't hold true for those half-dead cannibals,or they'd be screwed into next weak. "Hello?" She called. "Anyone there?" She could spot a few people easily,A female and a Male by the looks of it. "Guys?"

Zuko kept driving down a street he didn't know. He saw something moving up ahead and slowed down. A pack of zombies. He looked around then did a big turn to leave. He saw a few people. "are they...." he looked closer, unsure if they were zombies are not. He notice that they were. Oth human, on girl and one boy. He didn't care anymore. He pulled a soda from his bag and started to drive again. 'maybe it would be good to have partners...' He thought as he was starting to drive away.

Javier De'Marco
He always like watching other survivors. Just examining their demeanor, some were crazy and some were smart. Almost all of the mediocre minds were long dead, and now they were part of the problem. He also liked watching the zombies chasing the survivors. It reminded him of those nature documentaries he watched when he was younger; the lions chasing down the gazelle. Sometimes the gazelle makes it, sometime sit doesn't. he felt a little sick that he thought of it that way, but sanity left the world the second this virus showed up.
He watched from the shade of a crumpled building, a collection of rubble that made a great cover. He gripped his assault rifle, always ready for a straggler to show up late to the party and stumble in on him. A group of zombies had followed a boy into a house, and they were hungry. They always acted more....savage when they were hungry. Sure, it was hard to imagine zombies begin anything but savage, but they sometimes had a calmness about them. These zombies were starved, and they were angry about it. At one point he would have just left at the sight of an angry hoard, but now he was used to it. Zombies were becoming an everyday thing, as common as a cactus in this godforsaken desert. HIs brown eyes flashed as a few more of the undead attempted to pile through the door. He chuckled as they mashed against each other, frothing and gnawing at each other's torn limbs. He thought about trying to help him, but the last time he'd done that its just cost him ammo and his knife. they were probably better off dead anyway.
"(The things that I've loved the things that I've lost
The things I've held sacred that I've dropped
I won't lie no more you can bet
I don't want to learn what I'll need to forget
I like throwing my voice and breaking guitars
Cause it doesn't remind me of anything
I like playing in the sand what's mine is ours
If it doesn't remind me of anything)"

Synthesis shot a very suspicious glare towards the boy who had just stepped onto the balcony, her blue eyes practically blazing. She listened as she glared, the dragging foot steps loud below, telling her that she couldn't yet escape to a safe distance. Her own twisted smile was replaced with a sneer, her lips curled back to expose her straight white teeth. Sliding her gun back into the belt around her waist, she waited for the perfect opportunity to bail off the balcony. Drawing her fingers through her dirt filled hair, she pulled it away from her face and into a ponytail that sat at the bottom of her neck.
Soon she noted the drastic amount of noise beginning to pour through the now open glass doors. The zombies were closing in faster than she thought they would. She allowed her teeth to unlock, just enough that she was able to talk, as she hoisted herself up onto the wooden slats that surrounded the balcony. "I hate to break it to you, but I have no intention of staying while this massacre takes place!" She stood erect and waited, planning how she would land, as to not break anything major.

After not receiving an answer, the girl scrambled back across the roof, only to come face to face with a zombie. "Ah,you're a quick one." She said, smiling. The beast growled and started to advance, his arms extended in their trademark fashion. "So be it." Avano spun the Bō in her hand and crouched, getting into position, waiting for him to make the first move. Something she'd noticed about these creatures,if the got close enough to you, they'd sacrifice their footing to go for a killing blow. She just had to be patient, and avoid being bitten, since it appeared no one was coming to help her. "Come on,Ugly. Give me your worse shot." The zombie gurgled something unintelligible and stumbled ever closer.

Derek.
The dark dressed boy merely grinened thinly. "Neither do I. I'm just taking the time to blast a few heads off for revenge, and then I'm taking my usual route to safety." He told her. He nodded his head in the direction of a nearby house rooftop. "I hope you know how to freerun, because frankly, that's the only way out now. If you jump down to the ground, you're most likely to break something or get attacked by those brain sucking monsters." He informed her. He turned to face some other girl. Snickering, his face twisted into another malovent grin. "I wouldn't stick around here to long if I were you." With that said, he leaped towards the edge of the balcolny, standing periously close to the ledge.
Derek held up his gun, and as the first few lines of zombies appeared, breaking through the glass, he blasted them mercilessly with his gun, smiling wider with every shot and blown up carcass. And just before the masses became too much, he turned and with a running start, leapt of the wall in free fall, landing neatly onto the other houses rooftop. He tucked his body in and rolled, before leaping back up again and pointing his gun again towards the zombies. He knew they couldn't follow him over the leap, and now he had a good shot at them. Loading up his gun, he fired shot after shot at the flesh-eating, brain sucking monsters. See, he wasn't an idiot. He knew how to track, hunt, lure, and kill zombies with specifically laid out plans.

Syn hadn't the time to jump before she was being grabbed at by bloated half rotten fingers, and dragged down onto the balcony floor. Grabbing at her shot gun with one hand, she shoved the heel of her combat boot into the chest of a zombie, pushing it backward as hard as she could. The few zombies behind it pushed forward as she tried to keep them away, her leg beginning to bend awkwardly. Finally freeing the shot gun from her belt, she shoved the barrel into one of the open mouths that tried to bite into her flesh. She fired.
The throat of the zombie gave way easily to the large bullet, causing chunks of bloodied flesh to shoot backwards in a hailstorm of gore. Pulling the barrel towards herself, she removed it from the still clenched jaw of the zombie, she placed it in another mouth, continuing to waste as any zombies as she could.

Derek.
He watched the girl carefully from his safety spot on the other roof. Not even batting an eye when the zombie almost bit her, he watched as she struggled, but finally killed it. Raising his gun again, he fired at the ZOmbies closest to her, killing them easily. He made sure not to hit her, but he was a good aim, so he doubted that would happen. "The shooting's good form over here, plus you don't have to worry about getting bitten." He called out to her. A grin on his face, Derek shot continuously at the lines and lines of zombies pressing in to get the living human being. Thanks to his blood, and her still being there on the roof, there were tons of them. All just in line for Derek to shoot down. He grinned at the thought of more dead zombies. He hated them with a strength that would have scared the braest of men. Derek hated them so much that he would stop at nothing, nothing, to kill them all. Every. Last. One.

.:| Nora Wilkop |:.
She had been sitting shotgun in Alex's truck for over a week. They had manged to drive most of the way, stopping in small towns to get gas. Between her and him sat the fluffy, white rabbit that belonged to his sister. She had her elbow resting on the sill of the window and her head in her hand. She knew just as well as he did that they would have to stop soon and go by foot. The dead traffic was already making it impossible to move.
The truck was idling and she couldn't stand it. She wasn't like Alex. She couldn't keep cool when she knew her parents were dead and she could be next. Her blue eyes held anger when she glanced over at him. Her hand grabbed the antique handle of the old truck and she shoved the door open with more force than needed. She had a flannel shirt hanging open over a not-so-white-anymore cami. The messenger bag over her jingled with the sound of loose ammo. She reached in the bed of the truck, grabbed her rifle, cursed at the breeze that blew hair in her face, and strode down the rode. The smell of blood rose from the dead cars.
.:| Alexander Eaton |:.
He had been thinking of his little sister. He thought he could almost hear her whispers on the wind. The had made it to Nevada, before he ran out of ways to get through the dead traffic. Miles of cars laid in front of him. He was daydreaming and trying to think when he heard the door open. He looked over to see Nora practically leaping form the car. "Where on God's green Earth do you think you're going?" He asked as he peered at her through the window. Without an answer, but the curse she spit out, she stormed up the road.
He found himself out of his beloved truck and grabbing his gun before he knew what he was doing. He could just let her leave all alone. "Nora, would you wait?" Still no answer. Maybe it was time for her girl issues and she was just in a bad mood. He had no clue, but he was with her to the end. Even if she was making an odd and rash decision. She was never one for this. He caught up to her and walked beside her, staying quiet. Last thing he wanted was to upset her more.
