on the outside, riverview is just your average high school ; complete with a courtyard , sports fields , football arena. . .oh , and students. Lots of students. And with thousands of hormonal teenage boys and girls all crammed into one building , something's bound to happen , right? Oh it will. You see, riverview is split into five main groups [ aka : cliques ]. You've got the barbie dolls : the girls who are faker than fake and certainly not afraid to walk all over you to get their way to the top. The jocks : to keep it simple, these are the ken dolls of the school. . .only difference? They know how to throw a ball. The freaks : this is anyone who doesn't fit in, and quite frankly doesn't want to. . .the emo , scene , and indie kids. Then you've got the delinquents : these kids don't give a f--k about anything ; they do what they want, when they want and have most likely seen juvenile hall once or twice during their school career. Lastly, you've got the loners : these guys really don't fit into any of the cliques. . .and trust me, they try not to. Within riverview's walls a war is raging. A war between the students ; the cliques.

The Kingdom of Oakswood (Medieval RP)

You are royalty. The king, who commands his kingdom with an iron fist and a watchful eye. The queen, who makes sure everyone is happy and content. Or, a prince or princess, yearning to be let out of the castle and fly free, like a bird.

You are a knight, with sword and shield, ready to defend his kingdom, no matter what the cost. An archer, who hunts for food and defends the kingdom from afar. The messenger, who runs from kingdom to kingdom, king to king, bearing messages, whether they are of war or peace.

You are a peasant, living a quiet life in the small village, eclipsed by the grandeur of the castle. A servant, young and yearning to become a knight someday, or old, knowing that you will forever clean and cater to the royal family. A farmer, living outside the castle walls, to tend to masses of sheep and cattle. A shopkeeper, selling your goods at the trading post, and in a far, out-of-the-way market outside the fortress walls.

Whatever your role, welcome to the Kingdom of Oakswood.

Fallen Angels ~ A roleplay

A large group of scientists conducted an experiment; finding the perfect humans. Around the world, everyone under the age of nineteen was given a shot of EY Serum.
Eternal youth serum.
For most people, nothing happened. For the people with the right DNA, a lot happened.
They died.
Their bodies were collected and put into cryogenic chambers, and frozen until they could bring them back.
The dead went on to Haeven, where dead human souls go. A bustling metropolis, full of angels.
Two hundred years later, scientists finally succeeded in what they had been trying to do.
They brought them back to life, but not really. What they did was drag their souls back down. Angels trapped in human bodies.
It could hardly be surprising that the angels were shocked and outraged. Experiments were conducted, and it was discovered that they weren't just humans, they had strange powers. Not only that; they were immortal.
They couldn’t escape.

Well, they couldn’t escape life, that is. In a future-sci-fi enviroment, the angels hijacked a spaceship, escaping from the scientists.
But what now?

Setting:
It’s, well, in the future. Outer space, alien races, different planets, spaceships, lasers, the whole future sci-fi shtick.

This is my first roleplay, so I'd really appreciate it if people joined it. Sort of a Doctor Who/Firefly sort of setting.

You always knew you were different in some way. Maybe it was your hair color, you appearence, or what your intrests were. You don't exactly fit in as it is. Time to add another thing to the list of why you don't fit in. Just last week, a strange man n a hooded jacket came up to you. You couldn't tell what he looked like, since his face was shadowed by the hood. He said two things to you, and two things only. 'You are different. This fate has chosen you to become an immortal being of selection.' And with that, the man evoporated right before your eyes. At the time, you thought someone was just messing with your mind, but now, a week later, you know that this was no trick. Now, hunters are after your kind. One night, a hunter attacks you, leading you into a forest where an abandoned private property stands. You enter the house hoping to lose the hunter. Turns out, there are more teens like you living there. You can't believe it. By now, you think this is some twisted dream, but three words change this dreamland to reality. "You are different."

Now, you and the rest of these chosen teens must come together and balance the world out, eliminate all hunters, and most of all, protect your secret, Until The Bitter End.

Plot

You were dumped several months ago, maybe even a year ago. You try not to remember how long ago it's been since they left you. You're just sick of the single life and desperately want to find love again. One day as you're leaving the grocery store you notice a bright pink flyer advertising a cruise called Cupid's Cruise. Interested, you take the flyer from the board and head home to read it and decide if you want to go on the cruise.

The Roleplay will start after we have 10 characters. Preferably 5 females and 5 males. Try to keep the male to female ratio even. Your character must be anywhere from 18 years of age to 21 years of age.
