Ari just kept backing up, until he felt his back hit the rock.He had no idea what they were talking about but it didn't sound happy.Way to go Captain Obvious, 'It didn't sound happy.'No humans left? Ari gave a silent whimper, and slid his hands around himself. "Hunting?" Ari squeaked out.Ari looked so afraid, and resembled a small mouse being cornered by a cat.Ari wanted to turn and run, but was frozen in place.His eyes were wide with fear, and he was chewing on his bottom lip, avoiding his lip rings.What in the heck were these people? What had been done to them?Then Ari became aware of yet another cloaked person, the same one from earlier.Could this moment get any worse?

"...Fine. I don't get your point, but I won't." He responded to Jacob with a roll of his eyes. Yeah, that's going to happen. He thought to himself with a smirk. Always one for unpleasant amusement, that boy was in danger the instant the other Lithius was gone. While the boy 'didn't deserve it,' Skye ranked his boredom above that. An enemy would kill the dullness for quite awhile. He didn't comment on the government bit, knowing that they had a point, but people would still come poking around if too many people vanished. One of these days they were going to have to switch towns. He turned his gaze back to the human thoughtfully.
"Now, why would I want to hurt you?" He asked quietly, a small grin spreading on his face.

Jacob

Jacob watched Ari sadly. He was half tempted to just bite the kid and save his poor little soul. His eyes flicked between the other two. He bit his lip softly and slowly approached the terrified boy. "Yes, hunting." He said softly. "We have to hurt humans to survive. And I hate it. I'd rather starve half the time. I don't want to hurt you. I won't. That's why I said it was unsafe to be here." He was pleading now, trying to make the human understand. "Please, just go home and forget that this ever happened. It would be better for you." He heard Skye and froze. "Skye. Don't. Y-you're not helping." He whimpered.

Ari watched Jacob carefully, looking him up and down.He didn't exactly trust him, but sure a hell lot more than anybody else.Ari nodded in response to the hunting.So that explained the disappearances.Though he sometimes saw someone he knew, wearing a cloak.Yet another question, that he didn't dare ask.Ari studied Skye carefully, and then understood.Going home wasn't an option at the moment.As long as Jacob around, Ari was alive.Maybe. "Better for me?To go home? Better until another one of you comes, or until I leave your sight....." Ari dared to say, hoping that his fear wasn't making him stupid.

"Really? I'm not?" Skye asked mocking to Jacob, stepping closer to the human and showing his fangs playfully. Inwardly he did want to bite the kid: the reaction would be fun indeed. Locking his gaze with the child, he grinned, knowing that whatever happened, he would not be bored.
"Some of us don't mind hunting." He said cheerily, leaning over with a smile, before returning his attention to Jacob, who was apparently suffering from sedimental emotions. Hearing the child's response made him realize that he knew Skye had all but good intent planned.
"Relax, he's kind of four years older than me, so for now you're safe." His tone was still happy, not really regretful. Skye then stepped away, and gave a light-hearted wave.
"Run little child~" he said in a sing-song voice, that of a parent telling a story to a child.

Antonio
Antonio walked forward from the shadows, " Skye, even if it may be against our rules to communicate with humans, I do believe that Jacob has a good reason to do so. Others of our kind don't usually speak with him, and this human boy may be his only possible friend. " he turned his black and red gaze to Skye, the red pupils seeming to glow in the darkness the cloak he wore provided him. Of course, as always, he kept his distance from the others, due to the fact he was quite hungry, and being near the human would make it hard to control his hunger. He glanced at Ari, blinking his oddly colored eyes at the boy.

Jacob

Jacob half-glared at Skye. "We're all hungry, Skye. Control yourself for once." That was true. He could see it in Antonio, and he himself hadn't hunted in over a month. "This has little or nothing to do with friendship." Jacob lied smoothly. He chuckled softly at the mention of his lack of friends. The others of his kind just picked on him for being short and having a conscience. "I'm just not in the mood to hear another human scream for mercy right now. In fact, I never am."

Ari gave an 'Eep.' and stepped closer to Jacob once Antonio stepped into the group. "D*mn me and my curiosity." Ari spat to himself.Ari just stared shocked at Skye, and was sure that anyone could hear his heart beating as fast as it was.Ari looked over at Antonio, drawn in by the other boy's eyes.He quickly looked away, not wanting to say much in this conversation.He was scared that it would bring even more attention to himself then was already on him.Ari took a deep breath, and closed his eyes, trying to be all Zen and icily calm.Fat chance of that happening, but you never knew.

Skye grinned, mockingly stepping back with his hands up. No, the argument was not over yet, and honestly he was in the mood to mess with minds for a little while. While the others of the kind were generally stoic or bothered by simple things(being short, having well-intended emotions), Skye was an exception. He just looked to kill his boredom, and he was hungry. He hadn't fed for over a month, waiting for a opportune time like this.
He smiled at the 'scream for mercy' comment, rolling his eyes at the excuse. No matter who it was, that was going to happen, there wasn't a point to procrastinating it.
"I still don't see your point, but fine~" He answered, trailing of happily. Now he was interested indeed.

Jacob

Jacob immediately stepped between Skye and Ari. "You." He said, addressing Ari. "I think it would be best if I walk you home. I might be older the Skye, but if he loses his mind to hunting. I probably won't be able to stop him from killing you." He looked at Antonio. "Take Skye hunting elsewhere, will you? You look hungry, too. I'll catch something on my way back..." His last sentence was clearly a lie. He wouldn't hunt until the need drove him mad, that was a well-known fact about Jacob.
