Nyx paused for a second, half expecting Ace to just not care at all. A real smile flashed across her face and she tried her best to actually hide it this time, because that means she would have lost. She held out her hand and lightly took Ace's. "Thank you" she replied, her voice soft this time. She wasn't fearful of the flame, but it was nice that he wanted her to be warm.

The intelligent and stealthy girl hummed as she watched her friend. She said "It would probably be good to know where the bathroom is. Crow's nest? Is it called that because it's up high or something?" she asked. That still wouldn't explain why it wasn't an eagle's nest or something.

The boy hummed as he stood beside his father, whom was making some cupcakes. He was waiting for his turn with them. What is meant by that is that he gets to decorate them and such. He huffed as he heard the shop door open and shut, thinking she must have left.

The friendly but shy male hummed, brushing through his dark hair again. He said "Its fine," and laughed quietly a moment then stopped. He turned his eyes back to the paper at hand once more. He hummed quietly as he read it, then made a small sound of interest.

The sweet but stubborn female smiled. Shaking her golden brown head, she hummed. She blinked brown eyes. She hummed as she looked up at the mention of breakfast. "Pancakes!" she yelped happily, because she happened to love pancakes, as well as waffles and toast and stuff.

OOC: @Spirit: Not a ton. Basically it talks about them coming from different backgrounds and having been sailing for a week, the crew name, and any identified members. Karter's name will be there, Micah's and Kass' won’t, and everyone else gets to choose if their charries have been identified.

Karter nodded and gestured for her to follow. He stepped outside again and pointed at the mast, where up way at the top was a wooden circular...nest. There really was no other way to describe it. It was right by the big white sails, not yet drawn. "From there, Micah calls out if she sees islands or danger," He explained.

Coby has allowed himself to zone out for a moment, but the interest from the other Marine brought him back to his senses. "Huh? Did you find something interesting?" He asked. He’d just skimmed, which he probably shouldn’t have, but nothing in particular had caught his eye the first time he’d read it.

Ace monitored the flame's heat as best he could, even though he was basically heat immune, he had a sense for it. Warm, hot, even, but not painful to the skin if one was to hover their hand over it. "I didn’t realize what you meant. Apologies." However, he still smiled to himself, just from the corner of his lip.

Ace just looked down at their hands for a moment before he spoke. His flame must not be as hot as he had expected it would be, he realized. Did it not hurt? "Um...you DO realize my hand is on fire...?"

Nyx glanced down at his hand, smiling slightly. "Yeah, I do realize" she replied in a quiet voice. "it is hot but..." she paused, then outstretched her hand towards the water a few yards away. A stream of water began to snake its way towards her, but she let it fall before it reached her body in case it hurt Ace.

Ace eyed the water. Water was bad for Devilfruit users in general, but small amounts wouldn’t hurt usually. Ace wasn’t sure, since his was centred around fire, but he’d been a pirate on the seas and it had never caused harm. "So, you’re a Devilfruit user too, eh? Which one?" He asked. "I have the Mera-Mera no Mi. Total control over fire, be it a gentle flame like this, or destructive walls of fire." Probably the main reason I’m not dead yet, too. The boy watches as she drew the water closer, then let it fall before it reached them.

She tried to read his reaction, slightly hoping that she hadn't freaking him out, but in saying that, he was centered around fire. She sighed slightly, and nodded. "Yes I am. I have Mizu-Mizu no Mi. I have total control over water. It helps a lot" she explained, nodding to the ocean.

"Logia, very nice." Ace nodded. Logia were less common than the Paramecia type, but INCREDIBLY useful. "I saw you watching my face when you summoned the water," he added after a moment. "If you were worried I’d be uneasy, don’t worry. I’m not afraid of much," He promised. "And it’d be dumb to be afraid of water while travelling the seas."
