Pokemon: A new region! [Open and Accepting]

"So, it looks like Percy has chosen Zygarde to be his final Pokemon. How will Akoni and Pan deal with this?" the Professor says, having been silently watching until now. He was kinda hoping for there NOT to be a Legendary of this size used, but it hadn't been in the rules either. So it was a fair move. And he also pondered how the battle would have played out if they did have the ability to Mega Evolve their Pokemon or use Z-Moves. Perhaps different Pokemon would have been used instead, perhaps it would be longer, or even shorter. He could never really tell with battles. Whatever happened at that moment in time would affect what would happen later on, after all.

"Oh yes, I-I h-h-have been," Leimomi responded. "T-the trainer with the Bewear is my cousin... So I c-couldn't help but watch. He doesn't have any l-legendary Pokémon, though, so I wonder how he'll handle this..."

Akoni grit his teeth, his eyes narrowing. A legendary Pokémon? "Alright, Pan. Try a Shadow Claw!" Pan nodded, running forwards as his paw was enveloped by purple shadows. The Bewear struck at the newly formed Zygarde.


(I'm using a smogon set for Pan. Hammer Arm, Ice Punch, Return, Shadow Claw. Just to set the Bewear's moveset lol.)

"Zygarde, use Dragon Pulse!" Percy said to Zygarde. Obeying, Zygarde created a purplish-white beam with a dragon face at the end originating from Zygarde's mouth to counter Pan's Shadow Claw.

"Oh. Also, what's your name? Mine's Jill. Jill Royes," Jill said, extending her hand for Leimomi to shake.

"L-Leimomi," the quiet girl introduced, nervously shaking Jill's hand. "Leimomi Mahi'ai."

The Dragon Pulse was all it took to knock the lumbering Bewear to the ground. Akoni could barely stand to look at Pan. "I'm sorry for allowing you to be injured," was all he said as he returned Pan to his Pokéball. "..." His hand shaking slightly, Akoni reached to grab the final Pokéball he would use- a Luxury Ball, if he wasn't mistaken. Enlargening the Pokéball in his hand, Akoni yelled, "I choose you, Kilo!" Throwing the Pokéball, a magnificent Alolan Ninetales appeared before him.

"So an Alolan Ninetales, huh? You're proving to be an excellent trainer," Percy remarked. "Zygarde, use Thousand Arrows!" Percy ordered his Zygarde. Obeying, Zygarde fired hundreds of teal beams at Ninetales.

(Also, it is literally impossible for bewear to learn ice punch. Even through TM's)

"L-Leimomi," the quiet girl introduced, nervously shaking Jill's hand. "Leimomi Mahi'ai."

"Thanks for the complement. Moonblast, Kilo!" Akoni called out, grinning as the Ninetales nodded. A orb that resembled the moon materialized over Kilo's head and a pink beam of energy shot from it, through the Thousand Arrows and towards Zygarde. Zygarde's attack still hit, but the countering Moonblast had kept Kilo from being hit full force.

Zygarde was blasted back by the moonblast. "You can handle this, Zygarde. Now use Thousand Arrows again!" Percy said to his Zygarde.

"Leimomi, hmm? Also, this is my brother Jack. He's weird," Jill said, pointing at her brother behind her.

Again poking his head out from behind Jill, he waved and mouthed "hi" to Leimomi.

"Freeze Dry, Kilo!" Akoni called. The Ninetales stared calmly ahead, his tails now held up. The air around Zygarde rapidly became colder due to the Alola Ninetales, and large shards of ice formed, almost seeming to hurl themselves at Zygarde.

Leimomi waved politely in return, jumping slightly when Mo growled at the sight of Jack. "N-nice to meet you... Can I, um... Meet your Pokémon? I-if you don't mind."
