She scanned around her lab, her hand pushing up her glasses. "O-oh no..." a little sqeak sounded behind her and she turned around. A little robot was there, maybe about the size of her fist. It was a little prototype of mettaton. It wheeled around and let out "Question time!" then started beeping. She let out a squeel and hid under her desk. Boom. The little mettaton exploded as she peaked around the leg of the desk. "What does it take to make another good robot!" she sighed as she walked towards the exploded mettaton bot. she picked up the pieces and laid them on her desk. It was an awful mess, but it was her mess. Irritated she looked up, Mettaton of the sofa reading a book. She rolled her eyes and fixed her glasses again.

Toriel was alone in her home in the Ruins. The aroma of butterscotch pie filled the room, and the gentle heat from the oven spilled out as she opened it. She was humming a soft tune while placing the pie softly onto the countertop, then proceeding to take her oven mitts off and placed them beside the pie. As it cooled off, she picked up a book off the shelves, pulling out her reading glasses and sitting down. Flipping through the pages, Toriel finally found her bookmark and began to read.

Sebastian was in the Snowdin library, like he always was. He had just borrowed a book, which he found interesting, so he could read it elsewhere. And that's exactly what he would do. As he picked up the book and said a brief thank-you to the librarian, he made his way outside, book in hand. He liked Snowdin, because normally it wasn't very crowded, so that was a plus - along with the fact that there was a library. Which was, quite obviously, his favorite place to go to.
The skeleton settled down in a cozy spot next to the river in Snowdin, pulling his knees up and opening the book. And with a gentle content sigh, he began to read, pushing his small glasses farther up his face.

Isaac shivered slightly, hugging himself for warmth, while he walked across Snowdin. He glanced briefly at the inn, and was tempted to purchase a room, but he'd rather save the money he had on more important stuff. Normally he lived in Hotland, but he was taking a visit to this little place, so cold wasn't his thing. As he shivered again, he walked towards the forest, sliding his back against the tree until he was sitting down. The cyclops pulled his knees up to his chest and hugged them, his eye narrowing slightly.

When Greater Dog realized the skeleton had no treats, his head began to droop. Suddenly he began to squirm and twisted over until his tail was sticking in the air, and his face inside the suit. Clanging noises sounded until he turned himself back over with a bone in his mouth. He held it out to the skeleton, as if he were pleading for him to throw it.

❥Static was cut off abruptly by another slow tilt of the being's head at the sight of the object being presented to him, a soft wheezing left the skeleton along with some more unintelligible words that did not sound like any sort of real language escaped his seemingly unmoving mouth before Gaster reached out and slowly took the object, looking it over in his hand before glancing up at the dog. After a few seconds, the being finally blinks and shuffles back a bit before throwing the toy far over the animal's head, watching it soar into the distance and land in the snow.

☣ - Endogeny is starting to get impatient, they're practically scaling the wall at this point, their claws making an awful sound as they drag across the surface of the wall, the odd creature wheezing out each heavy pant and dripping that thick goo down their practically non-existent jaw and onto the dirtied floor of the True Lab. Alphys hasn't come down yet to play with them or feed them and they were getting more and more angsty. They've already begun bounding towards the elevator, now pacing slightly with a slowly wagging tail before sitting down and letting out a mighty bark that seems to come from everywhere at once. Once they've started they don't stop.

Greater Dog yipped and climbed out of his armor. Kicking up snow, he bounded up to the bone and clamped it in his jaws. He brought it back to the monster and dropped it at his feet. With a contented bark, he licked the skeleton's side. It felt strange against his rough tongue, but he didn't care.

(I don't think gaster even has feet well whatever XD)

He stands, "You'll get there again. I know it~" He claps his hands together, then leans on her desk, "After all you made me such a lovely body. I can't thank you enough."

Asriel leaned over to pick a flower from the flower bed. He clenched it in his hands tightly. Looking up, he saw the entrance to the Ruins. He bent one of the petals downward, like a floppy ear. "Mommy," he murmured, looking at the shape of the petals fondly. Stuffing it in his back pocket, he headed for the ruins.

"Mommy?" Asriel said as he climbed up the stairs into Toriel's warm home. The scent of butterscotch pie wafted into his nostrils. "Are you home?"

Toriel shut the book as she heard Asriel's voice in the other room. She quickly got up, placing the book in her chair, and headed over to greet her son, a bright smile on her face. "Yes, I am, little one!" She spoke softly, her eyes bright as she looked at him. "I have made some pie, if you would like some." She glanced back towards the other room, clasping her hands together in front of her.

Asriel smiled. "I'd love some." He wrapped his arms around his mother, gripping the fabric of her robe tightly. Catching a glimpse of the book in her chair, he asked, "What book are you reading? Is it the snail one? Or the history one?" He stepped back from the hug. "My favorite is the one about the dogs in the Royal Guard."

Toriel chuckled a little, smiling fondly at him. "It is the snail one, my child. You know I do enjoy a good read about snails." She replied softly before glancing back towards the kitchen. "I have to check on the pie." She bent down and placed a kiss atop his forehead before making her way towards the other room.
