In Her Footsteps. (Alice in Wonderland) Accepting!!

Cheshire was glad she was happy again and grinned. He decided not to eat anymore orbs. The sky had brightened up and all the fish had swam away. It was the afternoon. A few fish came back, but they were very hard to see as the lights in their stomachs were no longer on. Cheshire Cat stood up stretching and yawing. "So, do you want to do something else today?" Cheshire yawned as his stomach growled. "And those orbs did no justice in my stomach." he added, rubbing his stomach.

Lyric was still slightly upset she had no comeback, but decided not to dwell on it. Suddenly card like creatures holding swords came bursting through the woods. "The queen demands your immediate arrival!" one of the creatures spoke. "Why didn't the queen come?" Marshall asked. "We had a special cake and tea set prepared for her." Matt pouted. One of the cards walked over to Lyric and grabbed the back oh her jacket, dragging her away. "Hey, what's the big idea?!" she shouts. She quickly takes off her backpack and lets her jacket slide off before running back to the other side of the table, next to Henry and the two men.

Furattā saw the sun come up and sighed a little. She took her feet out of the water and put her socks and shoes back on. She looked at Cheshire and nodded. "Mm-hm, but now I get to choose," she told him smiling. "Can you please take me back to the pool so I can take you someplace?" she asked him smiling.

Henry was just beginning to forget about all his worries when the cards burst in. He was so surprised he dropped his piece of cake, causing him to frown. "Hey!" he shouted when they grabbed Lyric and was about to go over to then when he saw her slip away. He smiled at her slightly then looked at the strange soldiers. "Did she tell you why she wants us over there?" he asked.

Cheshire Cat nodded, trying to contain his excitement. He took Furattā's hand and teleported back to the pool.

"The Queen needs to find Alice. She has been beheading soldiers to try and vent her anger, but she is only depleting our strength. In order to find Alice she has been searching for other outsiders. That's why you must come with us immediately." one of the cards explained. "There is no possible way they could know where Alice is. It's been years since we've seen her." Marshall explained. "For all we know she could be dead already." Matt pointed out. "The Queen of Hearts is very desperate, they must come." the card commanded. "Who's this Alice person anyways?!" Lyric thought. "You can have them if the Queen agrees to have tea with us in her garden." Marshall bargained. "What?!" Lyric shouted.

Furattā blinked then smiled at him. She slowly took his hand and started leading him to someplace. She hummed a light tune along the way.

Henry listened to everybody. This wasn't good. He looked at Lyric. "I can get us away from them if you would like," he whispered to her. What he was going to do would feel strange for her, but it wouldn't hurt. He definitely wanted to leave the area. He had no interest in meeting the queen.

Cheshire slightly blushed when she grabbed his hand. He listened to her humming as they walked.

Lyric was surprised after what the two had told Thomas, that they would give her and Henry up for a tea party. Lyric nodded quickly, not wanting to be beheaded by the queen.

There was a cave up ahead. Furattā lead him into it and looked around. She picked up a lantern and some matches that she had obviously left there and lit the lantern. Furattā lead Cheshire deeper into the cave. They walked for a while before suddenly coming up to what looked like a cave forest. It had a stream running through it and trees and glowing flowers.

"Okay," Henry said nodding and grabbed her arm. "This is going to feel strange, but it won't hurt," he said. "I promise," he added. He closed his eyes, and suddenly turned into a shadow. His shadow form looked like a sorr of smokey ghost. Lyric turned into one too. He started leading her away from the people quickly.

Jabber sat on a tree branch, continually engraving Alice's name in the trunk with a knife, and then carving 'x's through them angrily. After she had Covered the trunk with those, she left in a huff, to gt to work assassinating all who fell through the rabbit hole.

"Whoa..." Cheshire Cat sighed, dazed. He'd never seen this place before. He added that to the new list of things he had never knew about. He was amazed by how beautiful it looked there.

Lyric nodded, then he closed his eyes. Suddenly Henry and her turned into a shadow. She remained calm, trusting Henry that she'd be alright, as he lead her away from the tea party. Marshall and Matt argued with the cards about the queen having tea with them.

Furattā looked at Cheshire and smiled at him. "This is where I live," she told him happily. She lead him to what looked like a hammock and a cocoon. She got in it and smiled at Cheshire more.

Henry walked with her for a while before he thought they were far enough away. He turned them both back normal and stumbled a little bit from fatigue. It took a lot of his energy to turn somebody else into a shadow. "Okay...I think we're good now."
