Ashran
Ashran watched Emerald closely, closing his eyes as she stroked his neck. He hadn't felt that feeling in such a long time... he resisted the urge to kiss her back and hold her in his arms, there, forever... he gulped.
"Emerald..." he whispered, but quickly shook his head and moved back, feeling the emptiness and sorrow fill him once again. Narrowing his eyes, the king stayed still, enjoying the touch of her metal dagger on his jaw, though his expression remained emotionless. He knew that the elf would never love him, that she flirted with many men, but he fell in love with her over and over again, not helping it. She was one of his only weaknesses, the only thing he cared for in this world. Sighing, he took a step forwards, stroking her cheek with his long pale fingers and looking straight at her eyes, moving his hand slowly away.
"You know I cannot do this" he said harshly, his blue eyes shining. "I told you a long time ago, but you didn't listen" he gulped "And you left" he turned his gaze away for a few awkward moments, where nothing but the rain broke the silence. "But..." he added "I cannot stop loving you, even if your love doesn't belong to me" he stroked her neck and bent towards her, their lips touching slightly. Ashran closed his eyes, the forest disappearing. The only thing he could feel was the woman he loved, right beside him, at last, though he knew this feeling of unique happiness would only last a minute.
