ρɛяƨσиαℓιтʏ:Todd is, in general, mean. The kind of mean that lacks the underlying desire for “love” or “friendship”. He can be selfish, narrow minded, and quick tempered. His tunnel visioned drive rarely allows him to see anything besides one or two passions he sets himself to. His last passion was the soldiers he worked with and has since, even though he has been out of the service for over a year, he has not been able to switch his focus back to the civilian world. The obsession with the military image and duty can be intense and even scary, described by some nurses behind his back as almost obsessive compulsive. Although he stayed with his parents for a few months while he recovered from the accident he got out as quickly as he could due to their incessant nagging to actually act human, nagging which he actually deserved. Unable to separate himself from his previous life in the military, the hard headed bully has little compassion for the lumps of flesh known as other human beings.
Now that he can no longer join the military due to an MEB, Todd has thrown himself into hunting werewolves. Skewing his thought process in order to make himself "stronger", Todd has managed to convince himself that these hairy beasts are the reason his brilliant career was ripped right out from under his feet. Not many get Todd's way of thinking but it is best not to argue with him. In his own thought process, you will never win. No matter how right you are.

нιƨтσяʏ: Todd’s dad entered the military when Todd was about six years old. A chaplain, Todd’s father was a busy man who rarely got to see any of the “real” action that Todd wanted to see, and instead dealt with “feelings”. Much to the scorn of his trigger happy naïve son. Growing up Todd quickly became involved in anything military, including CAP and JROTC. He adopted the typical attitude of what he thought a “warrior” should have and at first it was only a game. However, as he gained rank in his activities some of the adult leaders started to notice that his leadership mainly focused on intimidation and fear that was not appropriate for most of the kids in the group. An upperclassman in highschool, Todd got kicked out of JROTC after he went behind his commander’s back and hazed some of the freshmen in the company, stopping only after one of them fell out with heat exhaustion and had to be rushed to the hospital. He was kicked out of CAP after he refused to allow those he outranked to eat until they finished a tracking assignment. Todd never understood the punishments, though, because he was always doing the same thing they were. It wasn’t like he was eating or sitting in the air conditioning. Therefore he decided that they just weren’t as strong as him.
The bull headed boy enlisted at 18, directly out of high school. The military was everything he thought it would be. The exhausting nights, demainding physical activity, and comraderie made him feel whole and alive. The fact that he was surrounded, by the most part, by those who could keep up with him like those in JROTC and CAP never could delighted him. Deployed soon after he graduated basic, Todd, or “Dark-o” as his call sign became, embraced the heat of middle-eastern desert. Gaining a position directly below the Squadron Leader, the young Private got into everything too quickly and ended up in a bad accident during a convoy. Everyone in the Humvee except for him were killed. He returned to America several weeks later to be treated. Only his commanders, and to a point not even them, know exactly what happened between the time he was declare KIA, then POW, and then finally found. After he got drunk one night and ended up having a nasty flashback that ended one of his buddies in a hospital, Todd was ordered to visit the psychiatrist and then kicked out of the military in a MEB. Not wanting to end up in jail Todd complied physically but thus far has remained mentally unconvinced. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Todd. Sadly, most losers can't see that.
