:T O R I N:
"Escaping, eh?" he murmured, poking his head out of a cell. A carrot was gripped in between his teeth and he hummed, taking a chomp of it and swallowing the rest down. He pushed himself to his feet and staggered after the two, one he recognized (by the flames of course) to be the fire-boy who had released him. So they were plotting an escape, and it was in action. Okay. Sounded reasonable enough.
Torin panted a little from his exhaustion, the past attacks with his blood had drained him so much he had begun to grow dizzy. Not to mention the searing pain in his shoulder as he ran made him want to vomit the food he had just eaten. When he reached the window the two boys were at he eyed it, gasping for breath. In an attempt, one of the blood wisps lashed out and beat against the latch. It seemed to weaken it, but not enough to break it.
The boy winced, squeezing his eyes shut and the blood came running back to him, as if to his aid. One wisp died out, the strand losing it's form and splattering onto the ground in a lined puddle. The remaining two spiraled around his body as a type of protection. He leaned up against the wall and rest his head back against it, panting.
"I can't do it," he breathed out, glancing to whoever else had followed. "I'm sorry. Someone else!"

BruteOver the roar of blood in his ears he was just able to make the words of one of the boys who had unlocked his cell. His dark eyes flickered to the web that was currently being torn down by some device the guards used. Behind them he could hear others approaching with more heavy clashing metal of guns.
Brute made his way after a rush of subjects who were following the boy who had told everyone he knew the way out. By mistake the giant panther knocked over a few people but he didn't stop to help. He was getting out and was going to be free. His instincts of a predator ruled his body as he quickly made it to the front of the line, ignoring people who shrank away from his black body.
His ears flicked towards the red-headed young child, listening to his words and registering them through his mind. Then another male came and a powerful scent of blood washed over the panther as a whip of it went against the window latch. Brute snarled a warning at all the people who were around.
He backed against the wall, his long tail lashing with anger that had been built up within him for years. Then he lounged forward with a powerful leap and skated across the floor towards the window. Huge back leg muscles pushed the panther's bulk through the window which after being weakened by Torin, exploded with the new weighted impact.
Brute's shape was lost on the other side of the window as he crashed into the outside world at a great painful force.

|Raccoon| .:
Raccoon was uneasy on his feet, to stay the least, and it was somewhat of a miracle that he kept his balance- but he did. He could make out a pretty blonde standing in front of him, from his still-clear eye. Raccoon blinked, trying to make sure that the angelic girl that spoke to him was still there, and not a figment of his imagination. Okay. That was good. He wasn't to that point of crazy. "Dollface, do I look okay to you?" he asked, not quite meanly, but still not in a friendly way. His eyes skated over her features, and he found that he was quite accurate in calling her 'dollface'. She really looked -from his distorted view at least- to be quite as close to perfection as a human could get. But then again, she wasn't human, was she? Still... Raccoon swayed on his feet, thinking to ask her name, but before either of them could speak, the ginger that released them demanded everyone's attention with a very pleasant thought. Escape.
Raccoon grinned lopsidedly. Yes, this would be good. This would be very good. Finally, out in the world. "C'mon," he encouraged, taking her arm in his more-or-less clean hand. At least it wasn't drenched in gore, like the other one. "I'm about ready to get out of this hell," he muttered. And that was the truth, too. He hated being here, hated everything about it. Yes, his cage was his comfort place, where he felt secure - despite the cold, hard walls that always seemed to be inching closer to smothering him - but he couldn't even imagine the length of pleasure that her would get from being set free onto the real world. Just imagine! Raccoon drug the girl a few jogging steps -and almost taking a header to the floor- before releasing her. He threw the gun over his shoulder, scooping up another magazine off of a dead guard. When he stood straight again, he swayed again. Okay, maybe he wasn't completely physically well, but he was good enough to escape now and recover later.
The ringing in his ears had completely disappeared on one side, and faded to a tolerable level on the other. Some inner intuition told him that he would have to suffer a few days of this before silence would overcome that side of his brain. Raccoon came upon the pileup of bodies near the window just in time to see the dark feline form plow through the window and rip whatever was keeping it secure away. Raccoon almost smiled. They were almost out! It was nearly too good to be true. He spun a circle to make sure that it really wasn't too good to be true, that there wasn't some evil mastermind holding a gun to his head, ready to pull the trigger and blank out the last of Raccoon's life. One thing that he wasn't happy for was being nearly the last one in the group that was all struggling for freedom. Stupid thoughts that after they were out, they would just run and abandon him filled his head, until he reminded himself that the doll-girl was still behind him. Another girl was too. Even if the people in front of him decided to go their own direction, he still had someone. Get over your abandonment issues, Raccoon, he thought silently to himself. Whatever abandonment issues he was thinking of, he would never know- but that one firm mental statement got him refocused.
Hopefully they weren't near anywhere populated. Or, maybe hopefully they were? If they were near where there was very many people- bad things could happen. Those 'bad things' mainly being that some paranoid lady freaks out and calls the cops on the bunch of survivors. Several things could follow that, but the most obvious is that they end up back in the hands of the very people they just escaped- or worse hands. If they were away from a population, maybe they could find a farm or something to raid. One thing, well two things, Raccoon knew were that 1) he had to get cleaned up. As soon as possible. 2) He was hungry and he really wanted to eat. The small amount of blood loss and the dizziness that was overcoming him at random times were probably much worse because he needed food. Oh, right- there was this third thing too. He needed some rest. Funny, after being imprisoned for only God knows how long, all Raccoon wanted was food, sleep, and to be clean. Raccoon shifted to his other foot, his attention returning to the situation at hand as he pulled his mind out of his thoughts.

RileyRiley couldn't help but glance down at her arm in disgust. Where the boy's hand had pulled her along now lay a bloody hand print. She shook her head, sending her hair falling over face again as she knew she should not be worrying about a little bit of blood. Many of the others were covered in blood, whether their own or another person's and they still moved on without giving it a second thought.
Still though, the scent and sight of the blood was beginning to make her feel sick to her stomach. Sure Riley had gone through many experiments, especially on her wrists but she had always closed her eyes in fear when they had began making incisions. She shuddered away from her thoughts, only wanting to think about escape which was coming closer every second.
She shielded her eyes as a spray of glass showered down on all the people by the window when a black figure leaped through it. She felt herself moving forward and grasping a handful of Raccoon's bloody uniform that all the subjects wore. Even though she was excited to get her out, her threat thudded heavily with fear in her chest as she thought about the outside world.

[Cleo : Van : Blake]
If you want to get out alive, run for your life.
With everyone moving so quickly after the two main leaders Cleo turned quickly and ran to catch up despite her long legs growing muscle on the bones, and including the long teeth slowly coming over her lips in a deformed looking way. Catching up towards the group they stood inside a room with a glass window the exit of the place, and a large black panther who beside her was getting ready to jump at the window with its body. Without waiting for anyone in knowledge the big cat ran at the window to crash into it with a terrible large shatter of glass that sprayed across the room to land even some onto her arm from the large impact.
Quickly she removed the glass with her finger tips , and not caring if she bled she followed the large cat out of the second story window with her own body easily leaping though the window with no twists in her graceful dive. Glass still left rooted on the window sliced her a bit as she dove though, but as she fell a bit to land hard onto her side on the green grass that blocked her eyes her body slowly sank into the dirt below her in hard plus equal tiredness from the fight above her head. It was much better to feel life under her then the cold dark cell she rotted in for years, but even in the soft dirt grass her body felt weak under all the pressure. Yet as softly as she could in her condition , she sat up a bit weakly to stare at the black panther who was somewhere around her, and wanted to make sure the panther was not hurt after the hard impact.

Ren Kurone and Kiro Briht, in another brief post
Ren watched with wide eyes as the boy, who's name he didn't know and he couldn't make out among his thoughts, struck at the latch with what looked to be his own blood. He thought he had been strange, hearing others' thoughts, but after seeing what looked to be a dragon girl, a panther that understood what it was doing, a lot of bloodthirsty children, and now a boy who controlled his own blood, it looked as if he was far from alone. Still watching the blood-controller, Kiro barely got an arm up in time before the window was smashed open. The wire and frame held together, but the glass surrounding it shattered. He cussed loudly as the glass bit into his already-shot arm, but from the shouts of guards down the hallways, it was not the time to be worrying about it. Time to run, and hope that what he had heard from thoughts proved accurate that they weren't in the middle of nowhere.
Realizing no one had realized, or just wasn't doing it, that they needed to jump out the window, Kiro thought he might as well be the first. He was exhausted and didn't want to waste any effort speaking, and just gave a little wave, crouched on the edge of the frame, and jumped down. There was a muffled yelp as he struck the roof the stuck out below, about eight feet down. Staggering a moment, he stood, and gave a thumbs-up to the worried Ren looking down at him. Survivable. The rest was easy; the roof slanted down, only finally falling away about four feet away from the ground. Sliding down and landing on his feet, Kiro gave another wave.
"Jump or die, eh?" Ren advised the others, and was the second to drop out. He screeched a bit when he struck the roof; his small and weak form did not the like the fall and he had landed flat on his back with a rather sickening sound. With a gasp he crawled onto his knees and slowly pushed himself onto the slanted half of the roof, and let gravity do the rest. The older boy waiting at the bottom caught him, much to Ren's relief, helping him back to his feet.
Looking around the landscape, Ren let out a relieved breath. The guards' thoughts had been accurate; they were at the end of a road, tall trees shadowing the area even though it was dusk and the sun was just disappearing. If what he had heard was right, then if they ran down the road, the curve that vanished into the trees would turn into a small town, then a city, where it wouldn't be too hard to hide.
"Hurry up, and follow the road!"

|Raccoon| .:
Raccoon turned his head to the side when the girl grabbed the back of his uniform, glimpsing her out of the corner of his eye before he looked away again. The others were already filing through the window, and Raccoon took no pause in following them. He trotted ahead of the girl, Riley he thought her name was, and to the window. He was about to jump out...but he made the mistake of looking down. Raccoon's stomach did a flip, as if he weren't already nauseous. All of his senses were overloading with displeasure, and now he had a very powerful feeling of vertigo to go along with it. He felt a nasty taste rising to his throat again, an swallowed it back down. He hadn't gone through all of this just to get squeamish when he found a tall building. Raccoon put his hands on the edge of the window, ever so careful to avoid any excess shards of glass, and hoisted himself over awkwardly. He had a split second to think that this may have been the last mistake of his life before he was falling.
His stomach rose into his throat and his heart missed a beat. Then, just like that, it was over. He hit the bottom with a horrible thunk, his arm twisted painfully behind him. Why had he done that? Why couldn't one of them like, fly, or something. Terrible exhaustion clung to his every thought as he forced himself back up again. He wondered just how many times he would be able to fall and get back up again before he simply fell, broken, to the unforgiving clutches of the earth. At this rate, he would be done by the end of the day. Raccoon groaned, feeling more in pain than he ever had before. The reason he didn't scream and yell on the way down wasn't because he was fearless, he simply didn't have enough oxygen to make a noise. Raccoon slid down the next part of the drop before he convince himself otherwise, having a much easier fall than the last time. By the time he was on real, solid ground, tears were in his eyes from the pain and confusion. He would regret them later, but he was just so...tired. Hungry. Thirsty. Scared. Anxious. Almost any word that caused unhappiness could be used to describe the beat-down and filth-covered boy.

BruteIt took many moments for him to recover his breath and even after he laid where he had fallen among the undergrowth. After breaking through the window nothing had prepared him for the sudden drop onto the slanted roof. His claws had done nothing against the ridged metal of the shingles and he hadn't even thought of shifting. Mainly because the drop had happened so fast and he had landed with a sickening thump on his side. Apparently the theory of cats landing on their paws didn't apply to Brute and his shifted form.
Now as the black panther listened, he could hear others sliding down the roof and falling to the ground. He let out a rugged breath and slowly pulled his four paws beneath himself. His legs ached as he lifted his battered body and closed his eyes when his head began to pound. He only needed to focus on getting away now and hiding in the forest.
That was not too hard since Brute would be able to easily blend into the shadows of the forest that lay beside the building. His ears again flicked back towards the place where all the other people were escaping from the building. He was tempted to head back and perhaps help and guard, especially if the guards came back, but something stopped him.
Survive.
The one word whispered throughout the trees as the wind blew.
Escape.
Another word carried by the wind that stroked the soft black fur of the animal.
Run.
And as the forest beckoned to the panther, Brute took off into its depths without another glance over his shoulder.

RileyRiley soon landed on he ground next to Raccoon. The young woman had just jumped and not given the chance to think of what might happen. Thankfully, it had gone okay and Riley only hoped she suffered a few minor scrapes and burns from falling and sliding off the hard roof.
The blond looked towards the younger kid again with the red hair as he called out another order. Riley didn't care if it was an order or not, she just needed and wanted some direction so she could get out of the place and get as far as possible. It seemed like the kid and his buddy had a pretty good idea of what they were doing and Riley hoped she was making the right decision as she began making her way down the road at a run.
