I looked down at Allison. "I know there are. There has to be..." I said softly to my small friend. "If anyone is still alive, I hope Logan is one of them..." I stated, half to myself. I clasped my hands together and held them close to my chest, closing my eyes tight, trying to hold back the tears.
The sun was setting on another zombie filled day, and Allison needed to rest. I opened my eyes again, a few tears escaping, and looked at my dad's motorcycle. "We need to get back to the safe house..." I choked, slowly making my way toward the vehicle.

Logan retrievs his dagger from a zombie, grumbling as he steped on its chest and yanked the knife out. "Damn zombies! Stay dead!" He growled, kicking its now lifeless body and looked around. I need shelter... he thought, walking towards an abandoned hotel.
