Pain. That was it. Ryu was familar with the headaches and if he could work with that one simularity between him and Veon, maybe his trick would work. If not then he had no idea what would happen if he bothered trying. Hopefully nothing bad. "Maybe I could help." He finally said with a slight sigh towards the end and watched as Veon lowered her head into her hands. "Would you let me?" He asked and he knew at times Veon knew she needed help but would never accept it or ask for it, something he would do as well when he became hard-headed or just too prideful of himself.

((Well the setting so far is where everyone is just waking up, most of everyone is in the kitchen so you can have your character just getting up ^^ Just a suggestion.))

Dunny woke up. He felt a wait on his chest and it was a moment before he realised it was the puppy. wait he thought, I didn't even know i was a sleep. He blinked sleep out of his eyes and looked around him. Where am i? And how did i get here? He wondered. Sitting up he realised he only had boxers on and looked for his clothes. He spotted them folded neatly, on the table in the tidy room he was in. He froze for a moment. where are my weapons? He grabbed the old cameo gear he normal wore and saw his array of knives under them. It's okay I'm sure there is a good reason for this. He pulled the warm trousers up and buckled his leather belt. He strapped the puppy that he had found to his chest using a wide band of leather he had bought for that purpose, what seemed like years ago. she still slept.

He would carry his sword with him until he worked out what was going on he decided, slipping into the sheath at his hip. He pulled a long sleeved forest green t-shirt over his head, before it was followed by his cameo jacket. Knives! he thought. The one he placed in his belt as a back up for the sword, was long and meant to be used at close range. the one he strapped to his inner thigh, and made sure he could reach through the hole in his pocket was a flick knife. Illegal in most countries. was one that he could be kept concealed easily. the twin of that knife was in a holster at the small of his back. As he laced up his Doc Martins he slipped a well balanced throwing knife between each calf and the boot.

now i'm ready! He was nervous as he pulled the handle of the door down as quietly as he could. He fugativly looked both ways before taking a quite step into the hall. I wonder if they know. I wonder if they know about me. I thought a research facility would be more sterile than this though! He headed towards another door partially opened, placing a protective hand over the pup, he snaked his head round the door.

Veon almost growled at his suggestion but held her tongue, knowing that he was only trying to help her out even though he knew she didn't like looking weak. Her eyes glinted slightly before she looked him and up and down and then let out a huge sigh, unsure of what she should do. Yes, or no? It was a simple question really, but to say no would look as if she didn't want Ryu's help, almost like he couldn't, but if she said yes she would be admitting to the fact that she couldn't handle all the pain herself, that she was weak and not tough enough to take it. She growled softly and then finally said, "Fine. Though I'm not happy about it." She figured Ryu had been expecting a no, but her mind didn't linger on the fact for very long when she heard footsteps in the hallway, another one of the newbies.

Dunny drew his sword, no use against a gun but it made him feel better. He felt the rough wood under his fingertips as he pushed the door open. His other hand still defending the pup. He could see a gathering of people and felt the pup begin tooo riggle under his shirt. "It's okay, little one!" he told it in growls inaudible to the human ear. He hummed quietly as a mother dog would do, the vibrating of his cheat was like a comfort blanket for the pup. He bravely leaped into the room sword raised in a rather dramatic manner.

Veo just sat calmly on the countertop as she watched the newbie leap into the kitchen with a sword raised, it happened all the time with the ones that were confused. She just sat there and waited to see what he would do, knowing that he could be stopped if he tried to hurt one of the people in the room. Her eyes searched his and looked him up and down before flicking through her thoughts in her mind, remembering the name of the man but unsure about everything else, as the fog had closed in on her memories again, and she couldn't remember anything else that was in his file. "Good to see that you are finally awake Dunny." She said, her eyebrows raised as she eyed his sword.

Eclipse finally stepped into the kitchen from the opposite direction, and saw Dunny leap in, and seeing that he might hurt somebody she flicked out her hand and a shadow wolf appeared at her side, leaping to the man and ripping the sword from his hands, the blade in it's sharp fangs. She saw Veon glare at her and Eclipse gave her a shaky smile before whistling once and then wolf disappeared, the sword clanking against the floor now that nothing was holding it up.

"whatch what your doing, will ya?" Dunny exclaimed frowning. He already had the knife at his belt in his left hand raised as he went to pick up his sword. This was when he realised what had just happened his eyes widened in amazement. He had slipped one of his throwing knives up his sleeve as he bent to retrieve the sword. He wanted to appear harmless but still have a weapon ready. he sheathed his big knife and his sword. He knew he could have his knife in the centre of the forehead of anyone who appeared to be a threat. "who are you? what do you want with me? And how the h**l did you do that?" His last question was aimed, at the wolf bringer. This was dramatic, he thought to himself.

[Mayiamaru]

Mayia actually got very scared the second Danny burst in and was ducked to the floor just behind Hunter, trembling as she usually did and pressing her hands over her ears. Hunter just sat there, staring at the boy with a sword in his hand. The second Mayia heard the clang of metal against the floor, she peeked from behind Hunter very cautiously. Danny didn't seem very old, but he still was frightening to Mayia. At the least she calmed down and got up, removing her hands from her ears and watching. Hunter didn't move at all, being a protector and all.

Natsume smirked at Danny. Natsume had entered just a little while ago and was thinking about getting some breakfast, that is, until Danny burst through the door. "She's good with shadows." Natsume chuckled grimly, bringing his right hand up to his side and making a slight motion. Danny's shadow rose up behind him, staring at Danny with bored features. Natsume loved to see the reaction for this.

"I understand," Ryu replied when Veon unwillingly accepted but his eyes flickered towards the door when the presence of an unfamilar boy jumped into the kitchen. "Maybe later though," He sighed shortly after and then disaappointment flashed across his dark eyes when Ecslipse stole his idea on what he wanted to do. He leaned away from the counter and his arms folded across his chest as his trademark gesture that showed that he was not amused. He eyed Natsume when he began to toy with Dunny with his shadow and Ryu noted that his powers were similar to his own. Ryu too wanted to see his reaction for his own entertainment but then it was all hidden behind his thick mental wall he used to hide all of his emotions.

"What the hell!?" Desmond exclaimed and jumped right out of his chair when he didn't expect Dunny or Eclipse's shadow wolf. His smokey grey eyes wide with surprise. Once things calmed down a bit a warm sensation came across his cheeks and out of slight embarressment he quickly turned invisible and silently moved away from his previous spot but remained in the kitchen area, still observing on what was going on.
