He stifled a gasp when she furled her wings and looked at him.
Vio wondered if she spoke Hylian, he had read somewhere that a decent amount could.
"Uuhh..what should I do.."He muttered to himself."Oh I'm so stupid right now.."
"Hi,"He greeted, his voice coming out weaker than he had hoped for.
He hoped she understood him, he didn't want to appear nuts.

Nayru walked over, stuttering something unknown to the boy before greeting, "Hello." She examined the boy's body. Hylian. Easy to point out. Nayru tail twitched as she watched him with curiosity. Hylians truly fascinated her. She wondered what it was like for them to live without wings. The faintest memory when she was young girl with no wings- she hadn't realized what she was missing out on when she was child. When she was gifted her wings she thought nothing could get better.

He let out a sigh of deep relief.
So she did speak his language, and he wouldn't be confused it of his mind, something he wasn't used to.
He wasn't sure how to make conversation..he wasn't good at talking to (a people he randomly met and (b adults.
Vio realized he might be smart, but he was stil immature most of the time and he just didn't know what to say.
So that led to him saying the very first thing he thought of.
"Do you know where to find tin socks?"
It made no sense whatsoever, and after saying it, he had no idea where it came from.

Nayru's expression changed from curiosity to confusion, "Tin socks?" Her Rito accent wasn't hard to understand, but heck, it was sharp. She looked over him, and simply said, "I don't think I can help you there. Why don't you just start out by telling me your name?"

He knew his name, really, so it was strange that it took so long for him to reply.
Maybe he should pass himself off as Link and be adored by many people...
Or he could just be Vio. Plain, old Purple Link, so close to the original yet so far.
He answered finally."I'm Vio Link, who are you, ma'am?"
He lacked good use of manners...he didn't know when to use any of it.

Nayru walked over closer to Vio Link, and casually replied, "I am Nayru of the Rito Tribe." She sighed, glancing around as if expecting a Rito to jump from the shadows, "But I never see anymore."
