When Juliet mentioned her brother being 'roaring drunk', it sent a shudder down his spine, making him recall quite a few bad memories of his rather stupid desicions. Alex stared up at the ceiling for a few moments before glancing back over at Juliet. "Jack was never very strict, but I think Monica kept me thinking straight. She sort of maintained the balance, otherwise Jack and I would bite each other's heads off. Or I would be in jail or something." He said, saying the last part with a lack of enthusiasim, regretting even saying it at all.

"Ah, that's what I like to hear," Amorette purred, looking down at the kneeling creature in front of her with a sparkling humor in her eyes. Yet another tame beast has become her warrior. They weren't really any knights to her, only because of how they knew nothing of chivalry. Cupping his chin, she lifted his head to look at her straight in the eye and ignored whatever spite he had in his eyes as he looked back at her eyes. "Find yourself something to sleep on, and the rest of you," She let go and turned to rest of her pack, "Find a room to sleep in, if not, some couch or chair I want two of you to go shopping and borrow my credit card. Tonight we'll need to celebrate." There was satisfaction in the way she grinned as the rest of the pack cheered.

Juliet shrugged. "Look on the bright side, at least you're not in jail right now, right?" She mentioned to him. "Plus you're good-natured unlike some men these days," She added. "So your sister raised you right when Jack couldn't, I guess. That makes her a good sister, no?" With the last word, she put in a funny accent to lighten the mood. "Do you want anything to eat? I bet we can go through some drive through?" The woman suggested to him, not helping herself but staring deeply into his eyes. No matter what he was, he is something different to her. Something, magnificent.

Aurora sighed softly as she looked at the ground, this was why she avoided talking to people, she always screwed up in the end.

Aurora sighed as she looked over at Sitka, "I'm sorry." she said as she looked back at the ground, studying the cement. She had never been good with others. Monica was now mad at her, Julian would probably be disappointed that she had upset Sitka. She bit her lip, she wanted to drink but that would making everything even worse. She sighed again and sand down, hugging her knees to her chest.

Julian shook his head, sighing. He only helped Sitka's distress, but the fact that Aurora felt bad made him feel worse. Kneeling in front of Aurora, he held her face. He didn't know what to say, since he couldn't speak for Sitka, so he kissed the top of her head and rubbed her arm up and down.

Aurora looked at Julian, she managed a small smile as she did. She glanced over at Sitka and sighed. She looked back at Julian and leaned forward to kiss him lightly. She hoped he didn't think Sitka's distress was his fault. She wished that Sitka had never ran into Juliet in the first place.

Monica sat beside the hospital bed the Sitka lay in, looking over at Julian and Aurora impatiently. Her canine vocals let out a somewhat muffled woof as she started padding for the door. The wolf experiement looked up at them again before walking out of the room, trying to look as dog like and composed as possible. She'd certaintly confuse people as to why a dog was walking alone down a hospital hallway, possibly even scare them. But, nonetheless, it was Monica, so what else was to be expected of her?

Alex nodded, listening intently. "Jack tried." He said, "I suppose he was still upset that my dad was dead. I think he just worked extra hard to keep me becoming to much like my dad, so I do suppose in that way he was quite a good guardian. Monica is a good sister, too." Alex muttered, he, too trying to get away from that subject. "Sure." He muttered, stopped from saying much more as he saw Juliet looking at his eyes. But it wasn't simply some glance, it was a looking into his eyes, as if she was searching for something.

As he stared back into her eyes, she exhaled slowly, noticing that she was barely breathing. "Alex...?" She whispered under her breathe, moving her hand to his hand. The smoothness of his hand as she touched it made her remember when they kissed back at the ranch, and a shiver crawled up her spine, making her lean more towards him.
