Gibbs turned to him annoyed, "no." he said it short and coldly. He turned his attention to the three of them, "First i will talk, you will answer my questions, then you all," he pause and briefly made eye contact with all of them. "may ask questions." he explained before asking "do you understand?"

Roran looked up he hadn't expected to be allowed to talk at all but any way. He managed to mumble out a quiet "yes, sir."

Dunny looked up slightly unsure and replied "yes sir."

Con followed the others examples and replied "Yes Sir."

Gibbs looked at them " Dunny what are orders for?" he asked

Dunny shrugged "To be obeyed."

Gibbs frowned at him "Orders are to be obeyed, sir. And do not shrug at me." he ordered before looking at roran. "if we dis agree with orders, what do we do Roran?" he asked.

Roran hesitated, "Follow them any way sir?" he questioned.

Gibbs nodded before turning to Con, "Will you follow orders? Even if you disagree with them?" he asked.

"Yes Sir." Said Con looking straight into Gibbs' eyes. where was he going with this.

Gibbs smiled "are you sure, private." he asked.

Con began to worry, "um yes Sir?" what was Gibbs thinking, oh no maybe he wanted Con to shot Roran. What had he done.

Gibbs extended the gun towards him, holding it by the barrel.

Roran's eyes widened in fear, and he began to get to his feet. He hadn't really thought Gibbs would shoot him.

Gibbs turned at him and barked "Get back on your knees Private." His voice became soft and dangerous, "It'll be allot more slow and painful if the first shot isn't fatal." he explained. He gave Dunny a look that instructed him to 'help' him.

Roran dropped to his knees, when he felt Dunny's hand on his shoulder. There was no point in prolonging it, he tried to convince himself.

Gibbs nodded satisfied and looked back to meet Con's eyes.

Con took the gun in a shaking hand. He looked at Gibbs and then at Roran and then back at the gun. He pointed the gun at Roran's head and closed his eyes. He pulled the trigger...

Roran jerked when he heard and felt the shot. he fell flat on his face with a grunt, and lay their for a second wondering if the gun had misfired.

Dunny jumped away when he heard the shot and automatically dropped to the floor. He turned to see Roran slumped forward and dropped to his knees beside him, before he realised there was no blood.

Gibbs looked down at them registering their expressions.

Con opened an eye and saw no blood. He dropped the gun and fell to the floor and stared at the wall. He would never ever shoot a gun again. Con looked up at Gibbs. He was shocked, scared, and extremely mad.
