Marle

Marle sighs looking down into his glass. Why did he feel so uneasy suddenly? Nonetheless, here was the part of talking with people he'd never cared for. "Who are you to ask? I am Marle. And I would wager you did not receive the reaction you wanted, what with the powerful gust of wind backed by thunder and your hair seeming do dance of its own accord. One would think the men quite frightened." Marle pauses to down the rest of his drink. "And is this young man who seems so distraught not to of had his own grand entry with you?" Seeing some of the patrons who had fled when the fight broke out return, Marle's tongue slows to a complete stop.

Ayra watches as Marle talks so casually with the woman who just barged in. Yes her entry had helped to end the fight quickly but Marle would have won eventually, with or without Ayra's help. Anyway she was sure the man was just trying to pick up the creepy monster lady...Maybe not. Ayra's eyes drift from the scary lady to the lizard boy. What about him. Did Marle trust him? Oh that man is such a fool, it would be so easy for any of these people to take advantage of his kindness. His act of kindness. Her eyes watch the lizard boy intently not allowing him to so much as breathe without her knowledge.

Night laughed, the sound jangling the air. "It doesn't matter what I say, paladen, you won't believe me. So let's pretend I said 'friend', and that you think I'm lyeing and not have to actually go through the whole process." Night smiled a crooked half-smile. She may be an assassin, but she was a bargainer, she knew how to play with words. As the girl spoke, her smile melted away. "What are you doing here, dragon?"

Elenwen looked up at him, as her hair still tossed back and forth by its constant, silent wind. She shook her head sadly, "If you wish to know I am Elenwen Elinora of the Gypsies." she held her head up high, she was proud of her name though many people wouldn't feel so grand about being a gypsy. The raven on her shoulder turned to the Dragonkin and sqwacked loudly, his red eyes glowing. Elenwen looked back over her shoulder to the men passed out on the ground "They should have been very afraid, I could have cursed them all to a life of eternal wander with no rest... or any real other curse." she said then turned back to the three.

Alhar actually thought for a moment, perhaps he wouldn't say no. Sae had been an assassin. He wasn't sure if the other assassin would say truth or lie, most of the time he didn't even talk to one but now he was confused. He shook his head and waited for Sae to reply, he wasn't a leader. She would probably make the better decision.

The girl grinned, her evil nature showing in that smile. Her wings unfurled and her crimson eyes glitered dangerously. She wasn't an assassin anymore, but she was still just as dangerous as the girl. "None of you business, isn't that what you just said, human? She replied coldly. She still seemed to be relaxed but inside she was ready for anything.

Marle

Marle nods his head in silence. The company that surrounded him was no longer to his liking. He would not speak for fear of those listening in on him. Who knows what they might do with what he said. So he simply nods in acceptance and agreement. A few drinks and a man loses all sense of decency, bravery and intelligence. Even so, just because a man is intoxicated enough not to know the difference between a sword and a butter-knife.

Alhar stepped back to stand next to Sae, she didn't need his help. "What is it that you need form us?" he shouted down the path. He didn't understand why someone would run into the middle of the road with no more intention then to bug the travelers on it. He shook his head and waited for the assassin's reply, they had to be careful, he had know assassins to double cross people. He shook his head to clear it of the terrible memoried of what assassins had done in his poor town.

((Sorry, i can tell this will be an annoying personality quirk. if you need Ayra is in the corner. she wont start a conversation but she'll finish one and then you have Kijana behind her too. definitely gonna start to clear the pub again though...))

Ayra watches as Marle freezes up again. Sometimes she wonders what it is with him that causes him to suddenly go quiet like that. Maybe she would ask. Maybe. She crosses the room to the one person that she somewhat relied on. She takes extra care to step on arrow hand's wounded hand. She smiles slightly at the satisfaction the injury had brought her. She stands behind Marle at the bar. "Ayra. Sorry, he gets like this when people come around. You said you are a gypsy? You can still curse them if you'd like. It might be fun." Receiving a harsh look from Marle, she rolls her eyes. "You don't owe them anything, they attacked you but still you spare them. Men."

Kijana Joka
Kijana looked around. He wasn't really sure what to say here. It had been so long since he saw another person that wasn't human. After all the first twenty years he lived alone and only two years had he lived among humans. Glancing at the squawking raven, Kijana rolled his eyes at it and wondered why such creatures of flight had to be annoying and loud. He wasn't loud... at least he didn't think he was. He could fly through the woods on silent wings without making a loud squawking noise like this raven. Kijana started thinking about the Waste land where all day he flew in peace.. and well loneliness. He didn't want to be lonely again. "Umm.. Hi everyone." He finally said a little bashful then he lost the look of bashfulness, as he pulled his wings in tight and glared at anyone who dare give him a mean unaccepted look.

Night's eyes widened in cool sarcasm. "You actually listened to what I said? Me? A lowly human? I'm surprised at you,dragon." She rolled the last word out so it sounded neither like an insult, nor a title worthy of honour. She smiled again with a strange -almost sickly- sweetness and then turned her eyes back to the paladin. "I am an assassin, I need nothing from anyone. But I would like to get away from a certain person in a certain city. Travelling with you would help my cover."
