Alex ran quickly across the clearing. She did a front flip before hiding in the grass. Alex looked up at a swarm of birds which circled the area. "S**t"

She nodded. She tightened her grasp on the bow, and slowly pulled it out. It wasn't deep, but it was wedged in there.

Ryan knelt next to Tayla, "Is she okay," he asked as Tayla pulled out the arrow.

Terrence shreiked. Gasp, she was bleeding, who would have guessed.

She widened her eyes. "Shh, shh..." she placed her hand gently on the wound, hoping the bleeding would stop. It didn't, but it was improving. She let Terrence rest her head on her shoulder.

Alex ran for her life as the birds swooped down at her. She turned around and slashed her sword multiple times. A bird got to her and put a deep cut in her leg. Alex limped as quickly as she could to safety.

Terrence shut up. "Well, I stabbed sombody foot and they stole my knife."

Tayla blinked, sighing in relief. The bleeding had stopped. Now her hand was stained in the girl's blood.
"Here, you can borrow one of my throwing knives," she said, taking one out and handing it to Terrence.

Terrence looked at it. "I think hidings better then fighting. Exept those too, they deseve it."

Alex sat on the ground at safety her teeth gritting. Alex felt her leg with her hand before looking at her hand. Her hand was covered in blood and coughed as she cried.

Tayla sighed and put away the knife.
"Yes," she said, "but what if someone find you? How will you protect yourself?" She said, standing up then helping Terrence up also.

Alex grew tired as she cried. She slowly fell over from her sitting position. Alex fell asleep not knowing what could come at her.
