    / Rue /

The world was a huge bowl of green and golds as Rue dipped her fox form into the grass, and for a moment, the teenage girl gained her bearings. Hearing the noises of Odell and Jack's sisters, Rue was able to tell where the camp was and where the future to-be-food was. Turning forward, she bounded through the tall grasses, getting out a fair bit before she waited. Hunting groups weren't meant to stick together, but more stay in close proximity to each other in case trouble arouse. It was also just for the sake of company. Rue's golden eyes narrowed as she glanced around, her ears twitching as she listened. She often enjoyed hunting small game, such as mice, rabbits or voles, more in fox form, and saved the bigger game like deer and such for human. Sounds and scents came flooding in as Rue closed her eyes and focused, noticing a scratching noise. Rabbit. She thought almost without trying, and stalked forward, getting closer and closer. The scent flooded her nose as she inched closer and closer. Just... about... "NOW!" but it was not Rue who said this.

Odell had been waiting in the grasses and had launched through the air, slamming hard down on Rue's back with all four paws. Rue was flattened into the dust, her eyes shutting in anger and pain. Odell jumped off after a moment and bounced around his sister, speaking rapidly. "Didja hear me? No? No? I told you that I would get you some day! Some day I said, I would be able to catch you off guard! And I just DID!" he said, and Rue opened her eyes wearily. The rabbit was long gone, and now she had to deal with an idiot instead. "Odell, I think you cracked my spine." she spoke calmly, and with much effort, stood up, shaking herself off of dust, wincing slightly as she felt a twinge in her shoulder blade. Now, Rue turned on her brother, anger stewing in her. "Odell, what is in your head? I just had a rabbit there! I could have had food for the Tribe! But no! You wanted to just show off your "skills." What's so special about hurting your sister and scaring away perfectly good food?" she snarled, her jaws snapping shut in anger. Odell stared at his sister with wide eyes, but wasn't afraid. "A rabbit? Where?" he asked, and sped off into the grass. Rue glared after him, but then released the tension in her jaws and allowed herself a small but weak chuckle. "He'll never learn." she mumbled and started to scent the air.

    / Aella /

Aella stared around in awe as the space around her started to almost immediately flash with colors of greens, golds and browns. She had never been at this altitude before, and the plants that grew, oh, they were amazing! Tall trees, small little flowers, big flowers, things that looked like mini trees too, the bushes! Despite the heat and the air density, Aella was quite enjoying herself. It was obvious that they were in somewhat close proximity to the Tribe camp, as now and then were small little paths the right size for a small canine to run on, heading all over the place. Aella stared around, as did Freya. Tempest, ever silent as ever, payed no heed to the surrounding scenery, and only focused on walking ahead.

Jack's shoulders were hunched, his body low, cloe to the ground, his eyes locked on his target. He inched forward slowly, the only thing distracting him was a noise not too far off, his ear flicked, but his gaze did not falter, he crept forwards again, but the hare was now looking around curiously. After a while, it had calmed and was eating again. But not for long. Pounce and snap. Jack had some food, he put it in the pile he and his sisters were collecting. Then he headed off again, catching two mice on the way. His eyes now locked on a bigger target. It was a deer, he knew that much from this low down height. But there was no way he'd catch it as a wolf. So silently, he switched back to his humanised form and slid a knife from his pocket. He was still poised on the floor, but the deer had heard something, it's ears twitched and Jack threw a kinfe straight at it. It limped away, obviously wounded, but not dead. It took a few more stealthy throws to get it on the floor. For most of this, Jack was tense, he had never got this much food in so little time. As soon as the deer was down he advanced on it and made sure it was dead.

Hello , Megaera (meaning fury), she goes by Magan (her middle name) as well, which means power
Gender , Female
Age , (10 - 19) 16
Tribe , Wolf
Appearance , Meg (her nickname) is beautiful. She has medium - length brown hair, it is the brown you might see on the coat of a wolf. She has lighter and darker highlights in it, like the fur on her ears and tail. Her hair is mainly straight, but has nice waves to it. She has sidebangs as well. She has beautiful ice blue eyes, like a real wolf would. Her nose is a little small, giving the appearance that she is fragile. Her lips are a soft pink, and her teeth are (almost) slightly pointed. (So, basically, her teeth are pretty normal). She keeps her fingernails long, to leave a good scratch in battle, but not long enough to break off. She is a good height standing at 5'7. She has small feet, which at human standards would be a size 5. She is very strong but looks tiny and fragile. Her mask is the color of her fur, with dramatic features. The nose is the color of her lips, and the eyes as well. The mask has intricate designs and engravings on it, all special to Meg.
Personality , Meg may seem small and fragile, but packs a punch. She is very feisty, and knows what she wants. She loves to plan, like her fellow wolves, and is a great fighter. She is a bit anti-social, but is very kind and loving towards her friends and family. Meg is very over-protective, and loves adventure. But she also knows when to relax and have fun. She is a bit of a lone wolf, often alone, but will spend time with those she cares about.
History , Meg has a (sort of) normal history. Her mother was murdered far away, deep into the woods. The question "Who did it?" was brushed away. Swept under the door like it was nothing. Her mother was not a fighter, she was quiet, sort of like Meg. She only contributed by healing those she felt worthy, as the Wolf Tribe is very cocky, and she did not like that. Meg was devastated, but her Father gave her no comfort, always hunting by himself, in shock.
Example , Megaera led the group, as they ventured deeper into the woods. Not much sunlight could shine through the treetops, as the trees were so close together. In fact, Meg had to weave through the trees. She heard a few leaving behind her, and the words stung her ears. They pierced her heart. "It's not worth it.", "Who cares about her anyway?" She looked beside her, seeing the tear streaked face of her father. Suddenly, something caught her eye over to the right. As Meg turned, she noticed only friends and family were still there. She hurried towards it, calling out to the others. It was in a small clearing. Meg's heart pounded, if it was her Mother, she was barely alive. The lump didn't move. Meg dodged the trees. Her heart was rhythmic, pounding in her ears. Tears welled up in her eyes, and they stung. Meg sprinted as she reached the clearing. Her heart stopped as she rounded the body, and saw her mother's face. She fell to her knees. The world around her stopped. Her mother's sea blue eyes were wide open, her hand outstretched toward Megaera. Blood seeped from a wound in her neck, and from her chest, over her heart. The blood was dry. Her mother was long gone.
Family , Her father Fallon, and her sister Kyna.
Crush ,
Mate ,
Other ,

    (Accepted.)

    / Aella /

There was little wind where they walked now, and Aella felt like she was in a bowl of warmth. There was nothing that reminded her of the mountain here. The surrounding area was flat, the trees and plants unfamiliar, but yet, she tried to look on the bright side. "Tempest, are we close now?" Aella chanced asking, hoping he wasn't getting too tired of their constant questioning. Tempest shrugged, and Freya stared at her friend unhappily. "I really wish I was in the mountains right now. Cool wind bursting against my back... the air thin and clear... breathable at that..." she started to rant about their home on the top of the mountain, and Aella grimaced as she felt herself getting more lonesome, missing the features of the mountain. They suddenly almost slammed into Tempest's back as he stood stock still. They were about to ask him what that was for, when he put a finger to his lips, then tapped his ear. Aella and Freya listened, and soon they realized what Tempest had heard.

"Come out little rabbit! I'm not going to hurt you! Well... right away that is... Come ouuttt!" the voice of a young boy reached the Hawk Tribe peoples' ears. Scanning the horizon, the three pairs of eyes rested on a figure that was on hands and knees. A young boy, his hair red as the blood red rays of sunset, his eyes a pale light blue. He was no more than six or seven years of age, and obviously did not notice the three other people who stood there. And to complete it all, there were two cone-shaped fox ears that stuck out of his head, pointed downward to catch any noise, and a bushy fox tail that swung through the air slowly. "Come on rabbit! I gotta beat Sycamore and Autumn. I just gotta! I need to find more stuff than them! And I need to get more stuff than Rue too, since she yelled at me for loosing you!" he continued, and the three figures turned and squatted down, speaking in a hushed voice so that the young Fox Tribe boy could not hear them.

"Let's go forward and ask him where his parents are." Freya spoke, and Aella shook her head, as she knew little kids. "Are you mad? One look at us, and he'll run away screaming. We should just... take our masks off first, so that it won't seem threatening..." Tempest interjected. "No. We need to just go up and ask. Fox Tribe is a very shy Tribe. If we creep up on him, he'll think we're threatening him. We just should go up and ask directly, as to not threaten him." Freya shook her head furiously. "No one has really ever even seen a Fox Tribe member, as they're always so quick to hide and fleet of foot. It'd be bad to approach him all together." Aella snorted. "You had just said to go forward and ask him where his parents are!" Freya continued to shake her head. "No I didn't! I did not say that. Did I say that Tempest?" and so the conversation continued, when finally they all stood up. Aella finally spoke out above the other two. "I'm going up to him. I have a knack for kids." she said, and started to walk forward with one foot at a time, trying to not look menacing. "Hello little one, would you please direct us towards your Tribe's camp?" she called out as friendly as she could. The young boy froze and looked up, and no longer had he taken in Aella's mask, clothing, wings, and bow and arrow slung across her shoulder, that he screamed. "RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!" before Aella could grab him and tell him to be quiet, the young Fox Tribe boy was speeding off through the grasses, his arms flung up in the air, his tail horizontal from the speed he was generating. Aella stared after the boy, shocked. Freya walked up to her side and snickered. "A knack for kids, eh?" Aella punched her friend hard in the arm. "Shut up." she muttered.

    / Rue /

The hunt had been somewhat bountiful so far, Rue being able to amass three mice, and one rabbit, but it was partly wounded already, so she didn't quite pride herself on that. She hadn't been able to spot any deer yet along the way, and though it was somewhat disappointing, she was glad for what she had so far. Rue's eyes narrowed on a young rabbit that was nibbling on some grass seed, oblivious to the world around it. Her whiskers twitching, Rue slowly crept forward, and pounced on the rabbit. It kicked out frantically, and Rue was about to make the killing blow, when a high-pitched scream echoed over the plains of her home. It was Odell's voice. Screaming his name. Rue felt the rabbit suddenly lunge under her paws as she was distracted momentarily, and shot off through the grass. Rue cursed briefly, but then turned her attention back to Odell. Why would he be calling her name right now? Standing up in human form, she glanced around, trying to spot the boy, when suddenly she felt a huge weight in her middle section.

Odell slammed into her stomach, his arms out wide as he fled from... something... The sudden impact knocked Rue over, and she fell down on the grass. "I've had just about enough of you knocking me over, or jumping on my back!" she hissed, but wasn't heeded by Odell. He clambered over his sister worriedly as she tried to stand up, whimpering frantically. "Jeez Odell, stop it!" Rue growled, and Odell sat down at her feet, still almost blubbering like a baby. "What is the matter?" she asked, staring down at her little brother with a somewhat anger. Odell stared up at his sister with wide eyes. "I saw people!" Rue rolled her eyes. "Geez, people. I'm sooooo scared." she said, but Odell shook his head. "No! Real people! Like... stranger people! They had strange masks. Like... like hooks on the face!" Rue's eyes flashed as she heard this. "Hooks? Like, beaks?" Odell nodded fast, staring around wildly. "Yes!" he said, his hair flying in every direction. "Where?" she asked urgently, and Odell pointed in the direction that he had run from. "Jack!" she barked out, hoping that the boy would hear her. This was urgent.

Megaera

Megaera walked swiftly and quietly through the deep woods, her tail swishing as she walked. She enjoyed being alone. No one told you what to do, and you could hear the sounds of nature all around you. She felt as if she were a visitor, and no one had noticed she had arrived. She smiled as this would be something her mother might do. A silver teardrop fell down her face. As she brushed it away with her delicate hands, she realized she did not have her mask on. She thought this was a bit silly, but it was legend and rumor, and she was not willing to take a risk with the horrid lady that cursed the Tribes. She slipped on the mask, tying up the gold ribbon at the back. Normally she would be laughed at for being such an outcast, if it weren't for her beauty and skills she brought to the Tribe. She sighed. She wanted more friends. A soft rustle of leaves caused her to spin around, and she sprinted towards the sound. She waited for her prey, knowing the exact spot (in a bush) thanks to her brown-gray pointed wolf ears. She was silent, and out scuttled a mouse. She stepped on the tail, and the mouse twisted and turned. Afraid it might bite her, Meg quickly put it out of its misery with a stick. She picked up her prize. It was nothing. Barely any meat on it. It would've been dead soon anyways. Megaera trotted back to camp with her prize, secretly hoping to run into someone along the way.

"Coming," Jack yelled back, but she had caught him in the middle of something. So he emerged from the grass, standing up tall and springy-haired, with a deer over his shoulder much like he had done with his insolent sisters just a while back. Jack had heard the screma of Odell but had asumed that something ridiculous may have happened, like the rabbit looked at the boy or there was a snake, something easily over-emphasised by a child, but when he made his way over to Rue, he could tell this was not the case. "What's happened?" he asked, "I heard a scream," he said, now looking at Rue and Odell's worried faces and feeling rather anxious. Something seemed to have happened, and by the sounds of things it wasn't good. Then Autumn and Sycamore came running up, now clutching their brother, "I saw something in the grass, people," stuttered Sycamore, for she had been planning to sneak up on Odell. Autumn was just looking scared, "There was a scream and shuffling," she whined, looking at Jack as if he may have some answer to this.

    / Aella /

"Sooooo..." Freya said, swinging her arms back and forth through the air as she rocked on her heels. "What do we do now?" Tempest glanced over his shoulder at Freya's question. "You mean now that our cover is blown, and the whole Tribe will soon think that we're planning an attack?" he asked, and Freya nodded with a wince. "We don't go back into Raven Tribe territory, we just stay here. Approaching would be dangerous, as we could easily threaten them more, but leaving would be suspicious all the same." Aella sighed. "It's a win-win I guess." Tempest just nodded. Freya glanced around, obviously bored. "Okay, so here's what we're going to do," Aella raised an eyebrow. Any plan that Freya just thought up was no doubt a bad one. "You," she said, gesturing to Aella, "Are going to stand here with Tempest, and then I," she continued, using large hand motions, "Am just going to sit here and hide in the grass, and wait for you guys to return after they take you away. Are we all good?" her answer was the silence of the field, and then, after some moment, a punch in the arm from Aella. "I... guess... not..." she said with a slow caution.

    / Rue /

Odell had flopped down into the grass with exhaustion and let out a huge breath, his eyes still wide with shock. Rue regarded him carefully, not sure if he was planning to go running off again and try to talk to the strangers on a change of heart. "Coming." Rue heard Jack tell her, and he arrived with a deer. Rue nodded. "Nice catch." she simply said. "What's happened? I heard a scream." Rue shook her head with worry but anger at the same time. "I saw something in the grass, people." Sycamore spoke, then Autumn added in more information. "There was a scream and shuffling." Rue glanced over at Odell and asked him as nicely as she could, for him to relay the information he had told her only moments ago, to the three others. Odell breathed heavily and took in a huge breath. "I was looking for rabbits, and then I heard this voice, and I think it was a girl, and so I turned to look up and it was a scary girl in shorts and a shirt and their mask was really really frightening and it had a sharp dangerous-looking hook on it, and I was really scared, so I did the only thing I could think of. I screamed and ran but there were two other hook-Masked things behind her and it was really frightening and then I slammed into Rue." he ended with a big smile, and Rue rubbed her eyes. "Oookayyy... A bit more fast than I expected, but that's fine too..."

Odell seemed to relax more and Rue turned to Jack. "The hook-Masked things could either be those from the Raven or Hawk Tribe." she explained, glancing over at Odell. "I need one more bit of information. What were the colors on the Mask of the one who spoke to you?" Odell seemed to have a very hard time to remember. "Uh... well.... the main Mask was... uh... dark blue... and then the eyes were light blue with silver and gold... and then... there were dark lines around the eyes that curved... then there were... um... black lines from the tip of the hook," Rue spoke quietly, "Beak." she reminded him, and he managed to stick out his tongue. ", black lines from the tip of the beak going to the corner of the Mask, uh... white tip on the beak... more black and lighter blue lines on the beak... and there were a lot a lot of feathers." he finished, staring at Rue, hoping it was good enough. The girl was running through the different markings in her mind. She, when little, had often taken particular interest in the different signs on the Masks of all Tribes, and learned lots about each.

"Dark lines around the eyes are female... white tip warrior, has won at least thirty battles whether it is against Tribe member as play or against other Tribes... lots of feathers, a hunter..." she went over in her head, and finally glanced up. "What colors were the feathers?" she asked, and Odell frowned as he tried to recall. "Um... browns and blues and blacks and whites and... A TON." he finished, and Rue nodded thanks. "Well, we know at least one of the people, or who they are. One of them is a female, very high ranked in her Tribe, she has won over thirty battles, has not yet trained anyone else, she has blue eyes, and is a superb hunter. And she is from Hawk Tribe." she finished, looking at Jack. "Why would Hawk Tribe people be here?" Odell frowned. "Y'know, they've probably run off by now, since you've taken so long to try and identify them. What difference would it be if you identified them or not?" Rue shut her brother up with a scathing stare.

Both Sycamore and Autumn were panicking now. Strangers rarely ever came into Fox territory. It was a well known fact throughout all the tribes that Fox were one of the shyest. This was most probably why Odell had run, and this was also why they needed to know who he had seen or what. Once Odell had evntually retold the whole story Jack looked at him, "So.... basically you got scared by a strange girl," he stated, looking Odell up and down. He didn't blame the boy for running straight to his sister, but when Jack summarised the story, it did seem far less important than it may actually be. "I-it wasn't just the girl," said Sycamore slowly, "T-T-There w-were three of them," she said, looking at Jack, her eyes round and fearful.

Jack had just been about to ask about the mask when Rue did so, he ran through the information in his head they had now gathered. Three people. From a different tribe, obviously a bird. There was at least one girl, high ranked, good hunter, not training others. From this Jack had gathered the girl was obviously confident and most definitely from Hawk tribe. Just as he was about to voice this opinion, Rue did so. Jack looked from Odell to rue, then the sisters clutching his free rm. "I don't know," he said, now glancing up at Rue, "But I intend to find out."

Megaera

Megaera trotted through the forest, hoping she would make it back to camp before sundown. Her legs pained her from running so much. As she stopped, she realized how far she had actually gotten into the woods. Her heart stopped for a split second, and she lost her breath. She dropped the small mouse, not really knowing where to go. She took a deep breath, and followed a different direction, hoping this might take her back. After a decent few minutes of walking, Magan stopped. She had no idea where she was. She garnered up the courage to call out, "H-h-hello?", and waited for any reply.

(We don't want to get too far without Rocket though...)

    / Rue /

Odell stared at Jack, gaining his composure. "I didn't get scared, I was merely alerting others about their presence while running." he said primly, and Rue stared at him. "Riiiiiggghhhttt..." Sycamore spoke up, and by the way her words were broken up, it was obvious that she was scared, or at least a little unsettled at this whole prospect. "I-It wasn't just the girl. T-T-There w-were three of them." she said, and Odell nodded quickly, confirming what she said. "I don't know." Jack replied to Rue's question, "But I intend to find out." Rue smiled slightly, a little weakly, but a smile nonetheless. It was good to know that Jack was also confident about this, because if all of them except herself were panicking, they would get nowhere.

"Odell, could you please bring us back to where you saw them?" Rue asked Odell, who gave her a suspicious look, as she was never this polite and kind to him. "Sure?" he said, and with that, he popped off into the bushes. "Get back here!" Rue called as she started to race after him. "Come on, let's go see why these three people are in our territory!"
