/ Rue /
The world was a huge bowl of green and golds as Rue dipped her fox form into the grass, and for a moment, the teenage girl gained her bearings. Hearing the noises of Odell and Jack's sisters, Rue was able to tell where the camp was and where the future to-be-food was. Turning forward, she bounded through the tall grasses, getting out a fair bit before she waited. Hunting groups weren't meant to stick together, but more stay in close proximity to each other in case trouble arouse. It was also just for the sake of company. Rue's golden eyes narrowed as she glanced around, her ears twitching as she listened. She often enjoyed hunting small game, such as mice, rabbits or voles, more in fox form, and saved the bigger game like deer and such for human. Sounds and scents came flooding in as Rue closed her eyes and focused, noticing a scratching noise. Rabbit. She thought almost without trying, and stalked forward, getting closer and closer. The scent flooded her nose as she inched closer and closer. Just... about... "NOW!" but it was not Rue who said this.
Odell had been waiting in the grasses and had launched through the air, slamming hard down on Rue's back with all four paws. Rue was flattened into the dust, her eyes shutting in anger and pain. Odell jumped off after a moment and bounced around his sister, speaking rapidly. "Didja hear me? No? No? I told you that I would get you some day! Some day I said, I would be able to catch you off guard! And I just DID!" he said, and Rue opened her eyes wearily. The rabbit was long gone, and now she had to deal with an idiot instead. "Odell, I think you cracked my spine." she spoke calmly, and with much effort, stood up, shaking herself off of dust, wincing slightly as she felt a twinge in her shoulder blade. Now, Rue turned on her brother, anger stewing in her. "Odell, what is in your head? I just had a rabbit there! I could have had food for the Tribe! But no! You wanted to just show off your "skills." What's so special about hurting your sister and scaring away perfectly good food?" she snarled, her jaws snapping shut in anger. Odell stared at his sister with wide eyes, but wasn't afraid. "A rabbit? Where?" he asked, and sped off into the grass. Rue glared after him, but then released the tension in her jaws and allowed herself a small but weak chuckle. "He'll never learn." she mumbled and started to scent the air.
/ Aella /
Aella stared around in awe as the space around her started to almost immediately flash with colors of greens, golds and browns. She had never been at this altitude before, and the plants that grew, oh, they were amazing! Tall trees, small little flowers, big flowers, things that looked like mini trees too, the bushes! Despite the heat and the air density, Aella was quite enjoying herself. It was obvious that they were in somewhat close proximity to the Tribe camp, as now and then were small little paths the right size for a small canine to run on, heading all over the place. Aella stared around, as did Freya. Tempest, ever silent as ever, payed no heed to the surrounding scenery, and only focused on walking ahead.
