Harsh words had replayed in his mind as they fell from the sky and towards the earth. Turbulence shook the pod, and metal creaked. Moments before some of the kids had released their belts and started to mindlessly float around as gravity had disappeared. Normally he would've probably been one of those, but the words from his father left this annoyance and anger inside of him and he was in no joking mood. He supposes it was a good thing because once they had hit the ground everyone who was not in a seat slammed to the floor of the pod. One of them didn't make it.

He had escaped with sore shoulders and back, maybe a slight headache, but nothing too serious. It's possible some slight bruising from the belt would occur. The sight of injured people snapped him out of his dark mindset, and as soon as movement settled and it seemed like they landed he unclipped himself from the seat and rose quickly, making sure whoever was hurt was okay, well at least not dying.

It wasn't long until the sound of more creaking metal which he thought at first was the sound of the pod moving. Only to discover that a girl he had never seen prior opened the door. The shift in the room was great, some were excited, and others were terrified. He was more or less neutral with a hint of excitement. He wasn't exactly sure what to think of everything, and they all weren't given much time to really wrap their heads around it. But regardless as he saw the girl fall to her knees in the grass, and the air did not kill them he couldn't help but have a bright smile on his face. And once he made sure everyone was okay he himself stepped off the ship, looking at all the colors earth had to offer. Being stuck in space their whole life most of the colors were limited and dull. But these colors were full of life and so vibrant.

Murmurs around him, he had caught wind of a conversation between a group, something about traveling for water. It wasn't the worst idea, but they had no weapons, and even worse they had no idea what lays in wait out there. If one of the animals they stumble across was everything but friendly, well... But the idea of exploring did give him a light a fluttery feeling in his chest. He had been listening in to their conversation unsure as to whether or not to really approach, as there seemed to be a bit of one-sided tension between two of them. And as Octavia announced her plans to venture with the group he couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped.

He stretched his arms over his head as he walked up to the group, casting a glance to Bellamy "Well if you can't stop her, I suppose you join her." he offered a smile and a single short laugh. His eyes went to Clarke who seemed to be the one running the show right now "Suppose you don't mind if I tag along, Brooke made a good point, might be some medicinal herbs and I can be of some help with that?" he questioned. Not really wanting to just be sitting here, the injured weren't going to get better if he just simply stayed put and waited. Besides he wanted to get a lay of the land too. "Besides wouldn't want you guys to be having all the fun without me." he said as he cracked a playful grin.

It was just like any other day, she was doing her daily hunt, in search of pelts to trade with some of the people in Trikru for other things like herbs or string and such, maybe even a new weapon. This was all she really did in way of associating herself with Trikru really. She was just a simple hunter who traded her goods.
She had been following this deer bow in hand and the arrow drawn back, the feather fletching grazed her cheek slightly, and just as she was about to release a light falling in the sky caught her eye and her breath released. The noise and smell causing the deer to flee and she offered a sigh in annoyance.

She looked up at it and her light brown eyes followed as it fell. 'What is that?' she questioned to herself. Shortly after she lost sight of it from the trees she heard a loud crash. A burning smell of a chemical she did not know what it was could be smelt as it was carried by the wind. The smell left a nasty taste in her mouth and she felt a pool of anxiety swirl in the pit of her stomach and rose into her chest. She pulled the bow over her back, securing the bowstring on her chest, and for a moment she hesitated about to deeply think of what she was about to get herself into. Before shaking her head and starting towards where she assumed the crash was.

As she walked twigs snapped and cracked beneath her feet, by the smell she could tell that she wasn't too close by so there was no need to be stealthy. 'I wonder what Heda is thinking at this moment. What will trikru do?' she questioned to herself. At the same time, she was being cautious and aware of her surroundings. Her hands gripped around the bowstring as she walked, and she later arrived to a source of water. With one more glance around she put her palm in the water and scooped it up raising her cupped hands to her mouth as she drank the water.

[[^^This is more just an introduction post to how she reacted to the drop ship, I'm not sure where exactly I'm going to bring her in yet :P]]

Octavia, who was across from her, was excited, that went without a second thought. Her comments were directly more towards Bellamy and Lorielle than anyone else, but since Brooke was standing so close by, she caught onto it all. She was quite surprised at the innocence in Lorielle's comment regarding Octavia's problem. Yes, she wanted to cut in, She's been in trouble her whole nice, but she resisted. It was harsh, yes, but it was the truth. Siblings were taken away without hesitation. She was infamously known for her hidden life up until now, or whenever she had been caught. It truly was sad, but if Brooke were to try and look on the bright side of things, Octavia ended up on a much more peaceful piece of land than in the Ark. Here, she, like the rest of them, were free.

Brooke glanced back over her shoulder as Bellamy grumbled something inaudible to himself, and she was taken aback by the daggers in his eyes. He was staring directly at the new boy who had approached, and she was curious as to what sort of history they shared, if anything at all. Interesting. "Don't worry about her," she reassured Bellamy, keeping her tone low so Octavia wouldn't overhear. "She's strong, she can handle herself." Although Brooke didn't personally understand the protectiveness Bellamy was trying to cover Octavia with, she got the idea of where it came from. Envy shot through her momentarily. Even though it was illegal, she did wish she had had a sister. It would have been wonderful, if it weren't for the fear of hiding forever.

She turned back around, catching Lorielle's friendly smile and returning it, only quickly, though, for Foster bounded up with more energy than all of them seemed to have combined. Another smile, this one amused, at his cheeky comment towards Bellamy, but the second she caught his eye, she forced it to fade and shook her head at him: "Don't encourage him." She was grateful that he was on board with her suggestion, but wasn't really surprised; he was as devoted to the sick as she was, he wouldn't pass up that opportunity, especially if it was just hanging there. "I'm not sure if it's safe to split up," she continued to nobody in particular, her tone low because she wasn't truly confident on what she was saying, "but it would make things go faster. Even if we go to the same location and split up to check different areas? Foster and I could look for herbs and you guys can branch off to look for water and other supplies?"

At first, Finn hadn't been aware of Bellamy's ice cold glares. He kept his attention on the two girls in front of him, the one with the cuts and the one who had landed on the ground first. He didn't know either of their names, so Green Eyes and Blue Eyes would have to do for now. He waited patiently as the one with blue eyes looked down at her shoes, which had been dusted with the mud that soaked the ground. The two shared a look before both catching his eye again. Silent girl talk or something rather, maybe. Whatever it was, Finn didn't feel left out. He placed his hands behind his back and rocked back and forth on his heels, the smile still lingering. His eyes shot open excitedly at Green Eyes' comment, which came before anything Blue Eye could say. He gestured to the two of them. "Great minds!" he near-exclaimed."Sweet. The more, the better."

He was about to turn back towards Clarke to give her the news in case she hadn't heard when an arm snaked around his own, joining like a small chain-link. Although touch wasn't something that made him uncomfortable, it did take Finn by surprise momentarily. He looked down at her. "You four and Clarke and I?" The blue-eyed girl was quickly ripped away by the grimacing older boy, and Finn's head jerked back slightly in slight amusement at the look in the stranger's face. Ah, yes, the siblings. "Everything's dangerous if you make it so," he shrugged, shooting Green Eyes a playful wink before turning back to Bellamy. "She'll be fine, I've got them." He snapped his fingers together and pointed towards Foster, who had just joined. Finn very vaguely knew of him, but he knew the boy had the right idea. "He's got the right idea. Ya snooze ya lose." He let out a quick laugh at that, then turned and started back up towards Clarke.

DO YOU THINK I WANTED THIS?

CLARKE
" ι вєαя ιт ѕσ тнєу ∂ση'т нανє тσ "
∂σιηg; Looking for water, herbs and possibly food | ℓσcαтιση; Drop ship
тαgs; Finn, Octavia, Brooke, Foster

She gave the group what she hoped was a warm smile as she turned to join them. Finn was doing a good job at rounding them up to go look for water, though she suspected that was less because he asked and more because they were already planning to do so. She hesitated at the thought of being the one in charge, she wasn't sure she was up to the task and she didn't want to cause tension with the others. Surly they would assume that her "privileged" life made her think she deserved to be in charge, which was certainly not the case. She'd do it if she had to, so that they wouldn't have to, but she certainly didn't believe she belonged there.

She opened her mouth to answer them, when the first girl on the ground -- Octavia, she had heard her brother call her -- made her way towards her. She blinked twice quickly, almost wanting to laugh at the announcement she made.
"Before you get any ideas, I don't care." she responded, rolling her eyes before leaving her where she stood and making her way to the group. If she wanted to be that way then fine, she wasn't about to fight with her for someone she hardly knew, especially not when the matter of their survival was so much more important than whatever man she decided to lay claim to.

"Whoever wants to come is welcome." She said to Foster, nodding her head to him. She had met him during the times she had snuck into the medical ward to see her mother. His mother had also been a doctor, and whenever their mothers were busy they would play together and eventually just starting hanging out as they got older. She had been saddened to hear that his mother had passed, knowing all too well what it was like to lose a parent. "Nice to see you again." She gave him a genuine, friendly smile and enveloped him in a hug. "I missed you Foster." He had been her friend on the Ark, and she had missed him during her time locked away. Which reminded her... "What did you have to go and get yourself locked up for?" She broke from the hug, and playfully hit him in the upper arm.

"We can start moving when everyone's ready. Splitting up might not be the best option, we don't know what kinds of animals might be out here but if we're all in roughly the same area we do need the resources." She said to the group, wondering again how it was that she was the one leading this. She hadn't asked for this, nor had she really wanted it. But if they were going to look to her she wasn't going to disappoint.

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW YOU EXISTED

Lorielle
19 ~ cis female ~ straight ~ tagged: Octavia Finn~ mentioned: Clarke, Foster

Lorielle observed Octavia and Clarke as the interacted, or rather Octavia eyed her. Clearly Octavia had something for the boy Lorielle had spoken to just moments before. Lorielle pretended like she didn’t notice, just in case there was bad blood between the girls already. Lorielle turned back towards the space walking boy, side grinning towards him. “Yeah, you could say that” she agreed, laughing slightly at the expression on his face. “If we find water, what would we put it in?” She asked.

Curiosity got the better of her and she took a few steps more towards the trees. She caught Finn’s wink, rolling her eyes playfully. Another boy had joined them, going by the name of Foster if she had heard the others correctly. If this forest was healthy and full of life, there had to be water nearby and a pretty big source at that.

Brooke’s gaze continued to linger on Foster as he bounded over to Clarke, a twitch of a smile flying across her features as the two wrapped one another in a hug. She wasn’t going to lie, she was a bit envious. When Foster stepped away, even if it was for a second or two, Brooke took the chance to speak up again. “Wow, a hug from Clarke Griffin,” she teased gently, raising her brows at him. “Sign my t-shirt?” Her attention was momentarily grabbed by Clarke again, who seemed to neither agree nor disagree with Brooke’s mumble of a suggestion. That saved the embarrassment.

Turning, Brooke left the small group, heading towards the side part of the dropship, just as Lorielle had made mention of items for whatever they found. Her stomach churned at the look of the backside – it was evident this was where the ship had taken the biggest hit, for it was battered and smoldering so much that Brooke was shocked she hadn't noticed it from the other side. The door for the materials were here, though, or so she figured. What else would a half-broken door lead to? Reaching forward, Brooke set her hands on the handle, sucking in a sharp breath of pain as her fingertips immediately burned from the hot metal. She placed them against her cold lips for a moment, then shook her hand and hurried back to the group, sticking it in her pocket in case the burn was noticeable. The knots in her stomach had tripled the more she stood around. She leaned closer to Foster: "The back door can't be opened," she informed him. "Think we can find something for the water inside?"

As Finn turned back around, he was fairly surprised to note that Octavia had eagerly bounded over to Clarke, bouncing around like a doe in a field. There were words evidently exchanged between the two, but Finn wasn’t able to catch onto anything. Unfortunately, he also wasn’t really able to see either one’s reactions, for their backs were turned and their heads were covered by their hair. He stayed aback as Foster and Clarke embraced, envy rushing through him. At that, Finn glanced away, running a hand through his hair. Did he had a right to feel that way? Sure, he knew of Clarke, but he didn’t really know her. The two parted soon enough, though, and he took the opportunity to slide back over to her.

“You have something in mind for me?” he asked her, hope audible in his tone as he connected gazes. “Water, food, you name it, I’m in it.” He turned back to the group, putting his thumb and index finger at the bottom of his jaw to listen loudly, which would hopefully be enough to catch the small group’s attention. “C’mon, ya snails,” he called to them playfully. “The sun won’t wait around for you guys.” He turned back around at that, satisfied, and let his dark brown eyes settle on Clarke once again. “After you, princess.”

He was distracted by Lorielle's voice as she followed him over, and he quite literally came to a physical halt in his walk, as if he had just run right into something. "Oh, that's a good point," he mused, turning to let his eyes land on the beat-up dropship. "I bet there're stuff inside?"

He watched the interaction between Clarke and Octavia. He didn't really pick up exactly what was exchanged between them but he could tell from Clarke's expression that she wasn't very amused. He put his hands up in a claw-like manner and mimicked a hiss. Seemed like the claws were out between those two and it hadn't even been a whole day since they got to earth. He let his arms fall back down to his sides. His attention turned to Finn for just a split second "It seems I have met another with good judgment on fun." he said happily towards him.

Then his eyes flicked back to Clarke as she had a smile on her face, and without a second to react was already wrapped up in a hug. It was comforting, like being brought back to his childhood when his mom was still around. Familiar. He felt this safety when she did that and without hesitation he wrapped his arms around her in response, breathing in her scent. "It's nice to see you...I missed you too," he muttered to her. Clarke was one of the few he was very comfortable around. One he could really call a close friend. Considering they have known each other since they were little, his mother would always be busy with Abby and her patients, and when he wasn't learning how to do the work that she did herself he would be spending time with Clarke, considering she dealt with the same thing.

She had pulled away from the hug and he offered an awkward chuckle and put one arm at the back of his head. "Yeaaaaaaah. Well someone had to show the Chancellor how to have some fun once in a while. It's not my fault that he has the humor range of a cardboard box." he laughed. Although the truth was that it was out of anger since the Chancellor had made the call not to treat his mom, which resulted in her death. His hand went to his upper arm in exaggeration "Owwww, you know we already have enough injured Clarke!" he narrowed his eyes at her and a playful tone in his voice. He laugh at Brooke's comment on their hug "alright tell me where to sign." He joked putting his hand up as if it had a marker in it.

He listened to what Brooke had to say, and both she and Clarke were right, it was not safe to split up. If they weren't going to say it he surely would have brought it up. Just cause this is uncharted territory. "Don't worry girly, We can look for herbs as we travel to find water, I'm sure there will be plenty to pick up as we go," he explained offering a slight nudge to Brooke's arm as he spoke to her quiet enough for only her to here when she made the suggestion.

He looked to the group "Well, I'm ready whenever." he said raising his hand in the air as he spoke only for it to fall again to his side just as fast as it went up. Then his attention was once again grabbed by Brooke as rude as it sounds he didn't notice at first that she even strayed from the group,, probably because of all the conversations going around to begin with, "there has to be right? Well how many people do you think it takes to open that door?" It was an attempt at one of those 'how many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb' jokes but this one was more rhetorical.

indentationOctavia smiled at Clarke's response. "So we're good then." O said. She walked past her and over to Lorielle. "We can have some girl to girl bonding time!" O laughed. Octavia grinned at her and Brooke, who was talking to the new boy, named Foster. He looked nice enough. O guessed that He and Space Walker would get along great with the sense of humor they shared. Octavia looked at the others. So when are we going?" She asked. She looked at Clarke who seemed to be in charge at the moment. Octavia didn't really think of herself as a leader, but if she had too she would step in, but only if she must.

Bellamy was the leader of the two. Speaking of Bellamy, he was glaring daggers at Space Walker. It was probably Because of his last statement. Octavia smiled to herself, She was so ready for this exploration mission. It was making her excited to just talk about it, but they were actually going to go, it made her super giddy. Clarke was talking to the new boy Foster and Brooke was talking to Bellamy. So she and Elle, were standing alone with Finn. O leaned over to Elle whispering so the Finn wouldn't overhear. "He's kind of cute isn't he. Space Walker." Octavia said the last part more to herself then to Elle, but there was no way that Elle would not have heard that last part.

Octavia looked up to see Finn was starting to walk towards the trees. Octavia instinctively took a step forward. Moving to follow him. She looked back at Elle and smiled, A wide grin, of pure happiness. Then she took off after Finn calling back to the group. "Come on guys, the water isn't just gonna find itself!" Octavia laughed, jogging to catch up with Finn. She looked at him and cocked her head. "You're inn right? The Space Walker dude?" Octavia smiled. "What you did must have been so cool! You probably saw so much. Where as me, I've been stuck in a cell my entire life."

indentationBellamy glanced up as Brooke whispered softly to him. "You don't get it." He said still glaring at Finn. "I swore that I would protect her, then I was the one who got her caught and our mother floated." Bell said quietly. He kicked himself for telling Brooke that. He had never shared this information with anyone, not even their father, who didn't want anything to do with his kids after their mother's death. He had turned to Alcohol to solve his problems, which made Bellamy angry. He had left his father one night while he was drunk and came home to the news that his father was to be floated. Bellamy wasn't really sad about this, but he did feel some remorse for driving his father down this path.

Bellamy glanced over as a new boy came into the picture. He had dark hair and brownish eyes. He said something to Clarke and then they hugged. Bellamy shook his head and looked back at Octavia, who was standing with Lorielle talking to her. He noticed that Finn was moving closer to the trees and when he called out for the others to follow, he knew there was nothing he could do to stop Octavia from going. He sighed and turned to Brooke. "I think I'm going to hang out here till you guys get back. I'll see if I can keep this place under control, hold down the fort till Princess over there gets back." Bell said, jerking his head in Clarke's direction. He was now using the name the he had heard Finn call her, but he liked it so he was going to use it.

As the group moved towards the trees, Bellamy heard a crunching sound from the forest. He had half a mind to call them back, and stop them from going on the mission, but than he just figured that it was just an animal. Or the wind.

Sympathy flashed in Brooke's eyes at Bellamy's whisper-shout. Once again, she wished she could really understand him, really connect on that personal level, but it was difficult to know and feel every aspect when she never had a sibling she was devoted to protecting. She had her mother, of course, whom she promised to look over and care for until she was well, and the misery and guilt that came with that lost promise killed Brooke, destroyed her insides and kicked her down to the ground. She was thankful she wasn't able to feel those hot, raging emotions right now; she was far too distracted by everything that had happened to get into that mood. Although a pang of sadness had shot through her at that re-unlocked memory, the day she blubbered an apology to her mother on her deathbed, Brooke managed to shake it off fairly well. Instead, she focused her mind back on Bellamy's soft voice, and offered him her best understanding smile. "It's not your fault," she told him. And that was the truth. Although it was admirable, him willing to give up everything to protect her, at the end of the day, he nor anyone else had any control over what did or did not happen. It was harsh to come to that conclusion, but it was true.

She was thankful when the subject shifted, and she was sure Bellamy was, too. Although a bit disappointed that he wasn't going to join the rest of them, it made sense, and Brooke offered him a quick nod. "Thank you," she said. "For doing this." She let her small smile linger for a second longer, then stepped away from him and approached Foster once again.

"I trust you," she told Foster once close enough to him again. "Between the two of us, maybe Clarke too, we'll be able to find something. I doubt they have anything super decent, or at least natural, in the ship." She balled her injured hand into a fist in her pocket, then released the tension, letting her thumb slide over the soft tissue. As much as she tried to muster a laugh at Foster's cheeky tone, Brooke no longer could. She was worried. "Two if we try hard enough," she finally responded, taking her hand out of her pocket to show Foster the redness on her fingertips and upper palm. "And a burnt hand, I guess." She spun on her heel, letting her eyes land on the opening of the ship, where they had all exited from. "Do you want to see if there's something inside? Or ─ " she turned back towards him ─ "a sweater. We can use my jacket to wrap around the handle. The heat shouldn't go through the material, it's pretty thick."

Although Finn was walking extra slow so that Clarke could have a chance to sort out what she wanted and where she wanted certain people to go, he still allowed his legs to start up in the direction of the forest. It had become evident that Foster and Brooke were the ones that were going to deal with getting the supplies for the water, so he wasn't going to worry too much about it unless Clarke told him otherwise. Even if they had to wait, it would be worth it, despite how impatient and eager Finn was beginning to feel to get going on this new adventure. With disregard to the sickly smoke that was rising in the air, it was quite lovely here.

He turned around as Octavia bounded over to him. Octavia, that was her name, right? He was pretty sure he heard it slip from her lips, or from somebody's. His eyes trailed on from her to the blonde whose name he still didn't know ─ Green Eyes ─ because it was evident Octavia wasn't going anywhere without her. "You've got the right idea," he agreed to Octavia's statement. "The less time we waste, the better." On the more logical side of things, it was better to get going as soon as possible because of the sunlight. Finn wasn't quite sure what time of day it was, and the last thing they needed was to get trapped in a strange place because they miscalculated the time of the sun.

He let his chocolate-coloured eyes settle on pretty Octavia again as she gazed up at him. He smiled at the nickname, though, as per usual, it wasn't quite enough to reach his eyes. As much as he appreciated the attention, he could never seem to wipe away the guilt that came with it. "Yeah, that's me," he responded, chest puffing a bit to emphasize on the pride he had managed to pull out. "Finn Collins. You're Octavia, right? The ghost girl?" He raised a brow, peering at her as if she was a puzzle he desired to solve. "You're like the biggest rebel in town."

Ezarah was dragging himself along, as if his boots carried a thousand pounds on them. He was tired. It had been almost a month since his last check-in with Heda, keeping her updated on the usual. Invaders, new plantations, those up in the mountains. Most often, it hadn't ever been anything new. The animals slowly increased their numbers over time, but Ezarah still had yet to scope out something new. Monsters still lurked in the shadows of the rivers and lakes, but the water was still doable. The bridge was still standing tall, mighty, and proud. In short, life was boring. Ezarah knew he shouldn't ever have to complain about such a thing, for he was highly lucky and forever thankful that he didn't end up on someone's dinner plate, or maybe even worse, but he couldn't help it. He was bored, thirsty for new activity. He wasn't quite ready to return to his home ground, though. He loved hanging out with Aliyah, his love for her enough to build and sustain a strong border for the entire group, but he couldn't hang around there forever. He was restless, and routine just didn't cut it.

If only he could combine the action of the Trikru pack with the freedom of nature.

Slicing his way along with his sturdy bow, Ezarah trudged about, keeping his pace lengthy but quiet. A boom-like noise from somewhere about sounded. It was in the distance, but it was enough to blow over even the part of the forest Ezarah was currently wandering in. It put a halt to his walk immediately, and his stormy grey eyes shot up to the sky. Blackbirds were squawking and fluttering their wings, hurriedly rushing away from whatever had caused the noise. Narrowing his eyes, Ezarah secured an arrow in his bow and began jogging in the direction of the sound. Was it Mountain People? Had they returned?

Up ahead, he was quick to shot the back of a being. Petite, probably about an entire foot smaller than him, she was. Ezarah drew his bow, but didn't yet shoot. "Chil yo daun¹," he instructed, not an inch of humour in his expression. However, the strictness in his features softened ever-so-slightly when she turned enough for him to catch a glimpse of who she was. Slowly, the weapon was lowered. "Faye," he breathed.

She at this point had lightly splashed some water on her face, crouched down at the water, and looking at the rippled reflection of herself. When was the last time she saw someone? A week or two? She usually didn't trade with Trikru until she had a good supply of pelts to work with and this part of the woods seemed to have less and less game to chase. She thought of how she may need to move locations of where she hunts, but that may cause problems with some of the other clans in the coalition.

Slowly she stood up, but something felt a little off. Even though she did not hear him approach she could feel a presence like eyes were lingering. But she could not pinpoint where he was exactly. Her hairs stood on end, and she secretly reached for the knife secured to her upper thigh, hand grasping the handle. Chil yo daun, he said to her. She found herself complying letting her hand slip off the handle of the knife. Something about his voice sounded familiar, same for his presence. She couldn't pinpoint it though who it was.

After a moment or two, she started to look over her shoulder. She wasn't scared, not in the slightest but why did she feel a wave of relief when she saw it was Ezarah? She slowly spun around to face him now after he lowered his bow. There was a slight look of annoyance on her face towards him. "Nou sneak up ona me like bilaik, Ezarah" [Do not sneak up on me like that, Ezarah.] She offered a sigh as her expression returned to a more neutral look. She is acquainted with Ezarah. Nothing more than have meeting him a handful of times and exchanging names. But his company was not something she disliked and found herself more often than not, actually enjoying being around him even with how little she knows about him.

"chit do ai owe the pleasure gon seeing yu deyon? ste em gon yu mema we me?" [what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you today? Is it because you missed me?] she questioned, the second half more of a joke and a bit of teasing. She knew his role in the clan, a scout, he was probably doing a walk but did that mean he saw or heard what she did just moments before? 'Of course he did, what kind of question is that?' she thought to herself. She was sure just about everyone saw it. So did that mean Heda was on her way?

'Great....'

It wasn't that she hated Heda, it was more just...she didn't like what she represented really. Well, all of Trikru really. But she very much still respected Lexa, she would even go as far as feared her a little, though she would never actually admit that out loud. She started to wonder what had crashed from the sky, and if it contained anything.

DO YOU THINK I WANTED THIS?

CLARKE

∂σιηg; Looking for water, herbs and possibly food | ℓσcαтιση; Drop ship
тαgs; Finn, Octavia, Brooke, Foster, Bellamy

"Don't call me princess." She said to Finn, rolling her eyes in his direction. "But I'm sure we can find something for you to do." Glancing towards Octavia, who was continuing to stake her claim by remaining practically glued to Finns side she scowled and crossed her arms. Was that really the most important thing right now? "You can keep Octavia company." The last sentence came out a little rougher than she intended, but her train of thought about it was derailed as she registered what Brooke and Foster were talking about.

In her excitement to get exploring she hadn't considered that they would need containers to carry the things they found in. Did she expect they would bring water back in their hands? She shook her head at her stupidity, and headed back towards the entrance to the drop ship.
"They must have sent us something we can carry water in, or something we could make to carry water in." She said to Brooke and Foster, knowing that they wouldn't have sent them down to earth entirely unprepared. They couldn't send them food, as there had been no way to know that the 100 would have survived and loading the ship up with food would have been almost the same as just launching it into space.

She made her way through the entrance they had exited from, scanning the room quickly. While most of the seats had been on the upper level, this one looked to be mostly empty. Except for a couple barrels in the back that looked 100 years old.
"That's because they are 100 years old Clarke." She muttered to herself, marching over to the closest barrel. She grabbed the rim, and started shuffling it as close to the door as she could. It wasn't particularly heavy, which made her worried that there wasn't actually anything in it, but when she got it back to the entrance she popped the lid on it and a laugh exploded from her chest. "Backpacks!" she said excitedly, tossing the lid back into the ship and pulling out one of the packs. She opened it and began taking out the contents quickly. There was a small lantern, appeared to be solar powered, a canteen, and what looked like a thick tarp but felt like leather. She studied it, noted that it looked similar to the stuff that Pike had used to sew together and make a canteen in the Earth Skills class and smiled triumphantly.

"Theres enough in here for most of us, though I don't think theres enough for all..." She glanced back towards the other two barrels, wondering if there would be more of the same in them or if they would hold something different. She turned back to the group, handing out the backpacks as she went. She wasn't even sure there was going to be the same amount of stuff in each of them, but it was at least a start. "If theres not enough for everyone to have their own then these will have to be reserved for anyone whos going out looking for food, herbs or water. But for right now theres one for each of us and we can hopefully find enough to bring back."

She turned to Bellamy after handing each of the group a backpack, and motioned to the dropship again. "There was another couple barrels in there, that one wasn't particularly heavy but the others might have stuff we can also use, if you want to get them out that is." She hoisted the backpack over her right shoulder, worried that she had sounded a little too bossy as she said it to him. That wasn't how she intended it but there was no point in worrying about it now. She turned back to the group gathered to go exploring, and with an excited smile she took the first step towards the forest. "Lets get going." For the first time since she discovered that the Ark was dying and her father was floated, Clarke was hopeful for the future that they might have.
