Dreamer slightly winced, and muttered to himself, "Whatever." He forgot about what Bandit had said, and continued listening to Jeremy.

Jeremy paused. "I don't know. I really don't. Even the most insane and evil of people stay away from it."

"Like I asked," said Bandit, louder this time, "Does it affect time in the rest of the world, or just here? I don't currently care who did it- right now, I want to know what the effect on us is going to be."

Tibenoch eyes turned brown and he smile deviously. "Why do people stay away from it? It seem so interesting to explore and what not." He turned to Jeremy, eyes turning back to blue, "Haven't you ever gone up the hill to see what happened personally?"

Arthisel ran as quick as she could. The wolf was gaining on her. She ran swiftly through the trees, not daring to look back at the mangled wolf. She tried for her knife, but it was gone. Arthisel ran as fast as she could, until she came upon a beach. She whipped around, seeing the wolf snarling wildly. She slowly backed up into the freezing water, but she couldn't bear it. The wolf growled furiously, and leaped at the human. Arthisel wailed in pain as the wolf sunk its piercing fangs into her.

Arthisel's eyes shot open. She rubbed the back of her head, feeling dizzy. She staggered up, and noticed that she wasn't herself. She was this furry beast. Arthisel screamed in horror, and examined her wolf body. She had a tail, sharp teeth, wolf hind legs. Arthisel hoped this was just a dream. She began to walk off, rubbing her forehead, confused.

"First, to answer Bandit," he began. "I do not know that either. If this gem effects more than just this island, we are in more than trouble."
"To answer you Tibenoch, no I have not. Like said, I hear there are mayn dangerous conditions there. Such as poisonous plants, thorn bushes, and I even hear that there is some sort of doglike beast that is supposed to protect it."

Arthisel sat at the bottom of the tree, and looked at her arm. It had the bite marks of a wolf. Her wolf ear flicked, and she thought to herself, The wolf must of been infected Arthisel looked ahead in horror, And this isn't at all a dream! More like a living nightmare. She slowly got up, and looked around. She smelled so many more things, the grass, the trees, the leaves, other anthros. Arthisel froze. Other anthros! Arthisel crept through the trees, and saw them. She stayed hidden, and leaped into a tree.

Tibenoch nodded in disappointment. He sat down and stared at his pocket watch. "But we have to do something. Fearsome beast or not. We can't just lay around and do nothing."
