Zero smiled in his sleep, dreaming of Yuki's smiling face. He hoped desperately the she would be okay.

Shadow nodded."Yeah. They don't have any fur, but they have fuzz. And fuzz is nice. I had a pet one once, but it died of old age. It was really sad. I gave it a funeral though, so I think it left happy."

Ichigo purred, rubbing her head against his chest. She then jumped down and shifted, beginning her story."I have GOT to tell you what happened while you were gone. Okay, well, my old best friend turned me into a cat, and then this little boy, actually he's a year older than me...caught me and named me Strawberry Princess...he still hasn't grasped the fact that I'm not a cat. Then, the freak showed up and I found out that he loves my new best friend. She's awesome. And...and....that's the shortened version.."

James listened, a look of slight confusion hit his face as she got farther into the story. "It would have made more sence if you used names." he said, still confused. What was her old best friend's name...who was her new one? And most of all, who was this freak show?

"OH, oh, yeah! Names, names...Well, the one who thinks I'm a real cat is Red. Then my old best friend was Shadow...I won't go into detail about him. And my new best friend is Inari."Ichigo explained, letting out a breath.

"Hmm..I've seen them arround. It's always dramatic like, full of love, hate, and stuff." he laughed a little. "But it's fun to hear about." he said.

Inari sighed. "Sorry about that. So... When do we start making cakes?" She cracked her knuckles. She didn't know how to be a normal girl... Especially since she was always fighting.

"Well, we do now. But you need to get over here and look at this book."He took out a book, a very heavy one, and set it down on the table."Now, I'll find it...I hope.."

Ichigo nodded in agreement."Yeah....the only one of them who's at least partially sane is Vio...and in Spanish his name is Violeta...hmm...seems kinda girly...but, anyway.."

"Okay. How do we do this? I've only made a cake once... so..."

Shadow rested a finger on the specific recipe."Alright. Now, I need you to go gather the ingredients, and I'll read to make sure I've got the idea right."

She nodded, and off to get the ingredients, coming back with them in seconds.
