(Thanks :] Sorry for having to ask that...)

Elton stopped his task, and stared at the girl openly, not sure exactly who she was. She had to be someone rich - important, to be in the palace alone. Unless she had entered with invitation? Why else would she have locked the door? Silently he picked up his mop again, flinching as he looked down at his hands. They were blistered and bleeding from gripping the rusting stick. I'll just heal them later, he thought dismissively, though the pain was bothering him.

He picked up the pail again, and walked towards the door the girl was sitting in front of. "Excuse me, but I need to pass," he said, his voice as confident-sounding as if he were a rich person himself. In his years at the palace, he had taken care to learn how the refined people spoke; he may as well learn as well, to do something interesting in his life.

Would she let him pass? He wondered what he would say if she refused. There was no other exit, and she was blocking it. Perhaps I could figure out who she is, he thought, staring at her again. She was quite pretty, he realized, and he wondered what she thought of him. Probably thinks that I'm a dirty, uneducated servant, he thought, somewhat bitterly. Because that wasn't what he was. If only she knew. If only everyone here knew. He sighed, trying to control the sudden blast of emotions inside of him. Who cares? I'm no better than them anyway. He was the same as the other servants; or worse, perhaps. The thought that he came from another family before that - a well-off family, didn't make him arrogant.

(It's ok!)

Siona looked at boy, obviously a servant. Her eyes narrowed, anger flared inside her. She was glad that he wasn't bugging her about wether she was ok. But that fact that he was a servant made her angry, she didn't see why some people had to work much more harder and treated much worse who just happened to be lower in social status. She looked at the fork that she bent and bit her lip when she realised that he would probably get into trouble for it. She glanced back at him, nodded and picked up the chair and moved it out the way. She put the fork on the table before pulling her hood down and pulled out her hair, letting it cascade down. She shook her head then picked up the fork "I'm sorry about this I just got rather angry. Just make sure that you shut the door on the way out I'd rather no one knew I was here."

Siona sat down on the floor, took off her shoes and wriggled her toes, letting her feet breath. She then stood up and put the shoes and fork on the chair. She looked at the floor "Pretty good, better than what I do." She smilied, at home she always cleaned her room and dressed herself, she really didn't like the idea of servants and so she refused to have them, instead she got them to teach her how to do things.

Elton blinked, slightly shocked that she was speaking civily to him. Almost as if he were normal. He dipped his head, eyes traveling to the bent fork. Though he was aware that he would probably take the blame for it, he pushed it out of his mind, staring at her still. "Thank-you," he said, smiling slightly.

He picked up the pail again, and headed towards the door, not really wanting to leave. She seemed so interesting... it was so appealing to stay and talk to her. But he knew he couldn't; he had work to do, and she probably wouldn't want to. Sighing, he opened the door, taking care to shut it as she had asked him to do.

As he deposited the pail in the kitchens again, his thoughts traveled back to when she had talked to him. She had bent the fork...

He stopped dead. How had she done that? Was she strong? He held his breath, realization suddenly dawning on him.

She was a witch.

He felt excitement welling inside of him. He knew that others like him existed, but he had never laid eyes on one before... now he wanted even more to talk to her; to ask her questions.

Siona glanced at the fork and picked it up. She bent it back into place and set it on the table. After putting her hood back up and putting her shoes on. She opened the door, she was annoyed "Perfect time to get hungry." She muttered angrily she made her way to the kitchen, keeping her head low and eventually she reached the door. She opened it and walked in, ignoring the few stares. She picked up a roll and apple. She then walked back out and upstairs, she found the door to the gardens, smiling she opened it and walked down the path.

Siona walked for several minutes before reaching the large pond, Swans swam on its surface. Smiling she sat down and started to eat the roll. She laid back and watched the clouds drift over, trying to pick out the different shapes in them. She kicked her shoes off and ran her feet through the grass, enjoying the cooling and calming feeling it gave. She watched some birds flying overhead, sadness filled her slightly, their lives were so simple and free. Sighing she closed her eyes and let the gentle breeze ruffle her hair as she took her hood down and let her waistlength ebony hair pool onto the grass.

Rowan trotted her horse Binky though the castle gate, ignoring the gaurds who were glaring at her. Rowan wasn't very popular with the gaurds, just because they were useless and got drunk all the time and they were idiots(in Rowans oppinion). She trotted into the stable on Binky then dismounted, Binky was black shire, a very big strong horse so Rowan kept him away from the other horses. She laid her sword in a clump off hay and went to look at a foal. It was 2 years old now and it was time for it to be trained. Rowan had a very special way off trainig horses. She led the foal into a nearby field then let it go. Then Rowan started to shout and wave her arms, frightening the foal for a few minutes. Then without warning Rowan turned her head completley ignoring the foal and walked away. The foal stopped and galloped after Rowan and it would not leave Rowan's side. It was a very old trick that was not widly known but it worked well.

Artair d'Vesci sat lazily on his jet black three year old gelding, whom he had deemed Faust ever since he first laid eyes upon the horse when he was just a colt. Faust, who carried Artair on his back without the assistance of a saddle, pricked his ears forward at the sound of another horse nearby. He let out a loud whinny, the vibration of his vocal chords somewhat blocked by the bit in his mouth. He snorted and tossed his head, alerting the nineteen year old sitting atop his back. "Hey, Faust, what are you doing?" Artair asked the horse, as if the gelding could answer. Artair took hold of the reins and urged Faust forward, figuring that whatever his horse was interested in, might actually be worth looking into.

Although Artair primarily did the steering, Faust served as a directional guide by pricking his ears one way and snorting if he thought the sound he had heard came from that direction. Without Faust's assistance, Artair probably would have never found his way to the fence line of a pasture. The pasture contained a girl and a horse. The horse looked young and like it still needed training. The girl seemed to be the one training it. Artair watched as the girl shooed the horse away, then abruptly turned and ignored it. It was a trick some people still used, though it wasn't very common amongst people unfamiliar with horses. Artair had heard it called many things, but the named that made the most sense to him described it as 'join up'.

A loud whinny from Faust pulled Artair from his thoughts, causing him to loose grip on his reins for a moment and fall forward. Faust took this as a 'move forward' cue and began to trot towards the fence. A moment later, Artair and Faust were in midair, flying over the fence. When the gelding landed, he snorted and continued trotting and only stopped when he neared the other horse. Being a friendly horse by nature, Faust snorted and stuck his nose out in greeting to the other horse. Meanwhile, Artair tangled his fingers into Faust's black mane, mourning the loss of his manhood, not caring at the moment whether or not the girl thought he was an idiot.

Rowan whistled and foal galloped over, the foal was name Katla. The foal was long legged and a perfect show horse. Rowan had been ordered to train him for a war horse but Rowan had refused. For a start the foal was too young to wear amour and carry a knight and another, the foal wasn't built to be a war horse. The foal was built to be a show horse, it was pretty and a show off. Rowan looked at the boy on the other horse. She rarely looked at people when there was a horse about but it was Artiar so she went red and looked at the horse. She had seen that horse before but she wasn't too fond off it. The foal galloped around Rowan excitedly till it noticed the other horse and ran behind Rowan. Binky Rowan horse was trotting over to see what the commotion was about. He was alot bigger then Fraust, but Binky was a gentle Giant. He snorted and pawed the ground till Rowa said softly too him
"Binky Settle," then he became calm and walked over to Artair hoping for an apple. The foals mother who had been grazing nearby saw her foal was scared and catered over rearing almost landing on Rowan. Rowan did not move a muscle but when the mare was about to rear again Rowan touched her neck and turned her head around towards the foal who was cowerng behind Rowan. The mare nuzzled the foal and walked off with it at her side.
"What are you doing here," asked Rowan opening another stable door

Artair stared at the girl like she was crazy. "The only reason I'm here is because of my horse." He motioned to Faust, who was now inspecting the other horse. When the black gelding deemed the other, much larger horse, to be a friend he snorted and then inspected the girl. He shoved his muzzle into the girl's hands, begging for a treat. As soon as he figured that the girl didn't have any thing tasty to munch on, he snorted at the girl and began chewing on the bit.

"Aye, Faust," Artair rolled his eyes at the horse. "Sorry, he doesn't really have any manners with other people." He shrugged and turned the horse around. "Sorry to have disturbed you." He clicked his tongue and Faust began to walk off. Artair gave him another cue and the black gelding began to canter. Soon after, Artair and Faust were flying back over the fence and out into the field that was public property. The only reason Artair had left was because he had been banned from the castle grounds as well as the castle itself.

"Hey! Artair!" Another man on horseback shouted to the brunette young adult riding bareback on Faust. The man told his horse to canter and minutes later, the man was standing next to Artair and Faust. "I haven't seen you in a while." The man known as Erondais grinned at Artair who smirked back. "How's life treating you?" Erondais asked and he frowned when Artair shrugged.

The brunette sighed, but before he could answer his friend, a should called Erondais back to work. "See you, Artair!" The man shouted as he galloped away on his palomino steed. "Yeah, bye...." Artair trailed off and sighed. "Let's go, Faust." He turned his horse in the opposite direction Erondais has gone and merely walked away.
