Boom.

A moment of silence fell over Nora as she stared at the blinking, pixelated screen. Red bolded letters flashed across her characters limp body, the camera angled on a gunshot wound in the back of his bloody head.

She blinked - once, twice- before the anger really set in. Standing up and throwing her headpiece off, the orangette whipped her controller across the room. A loud thump was heard, but she was too upset to check if she left a large dent in the wall. She can deal with that later.

Her toes drummed against the ground as she stomped her feet, the way she lifted her legs off the wooden planks looked like she was stepping on hot coals - trying to avoid the burning pain. Her fingers tangled within her hair and a piercing scream could be heard.

what followed are words that can't be repeated.

the angry geek gripped tightly onto her backpack straps and growled, eyes narrowed menacingly. She ended up leaving a dent in the wall. Her father was upset about it, but since it happens often, he's given up trying to scold her about it. Nora will probably end up doing it again.

Taking a deep breath, the orangette walked out her front door and bid her father a quick farewell, before heading down the street.

Nora was of course still upset about what happened earlier that morning, but by the time she walked onto school property - it was forgotten. A small smile graced her pink lips as she stared at the building. Unlike most of the other students, Nora always loved school - and still does! She watched as students poured into the front doors and listened closely to their conversations.

She's always had an interest in what others are talking about now a days.

Still sitting on his bed was a pale-skinned young man, gazing at himself lazily in the mirror with his long, silky locks of hair gracing and contrasting against his chest as his fingers worked at his shirt buttons to get them shut. "....." He paused with a long, noisy yawn, gray eyes squinting with tiny tears of sleepiness building up at the edges. Finally, he stood, finishing with his shirt and opening his hair clip as he gathered said hair up into a tight bun, the ends of his oddly long strands melding with his bangs once finished. With that, he grabbed his bag and was out the door.

As he strode down the seemingly endless halls of the academy, Yuri gnawed on a pencil. The pink eraser was wedged between his canines, allowing them to lightly, briefly sink in before they loosened up. "....." He held onto his bag by one strap, head lightly tipped to one side as he rolled the pencil with his lips and tongue idly. Today, as every day, was boring for him; though, that wasn't much of a surprise. Nothing seemed to entertain the young man anymore, really.

Mamura laid in his bed, sighing and rubbing his eyes. School, huh.. he pushed himself upwards, pulling the blankets off of himself and stretching, shivering as cold air hit his warm skin. Briefly checking his phone which was charging on his bedside table, he got himself dressed and combed his hair quickly. After brushing his teeth, Mamura walked down the stairs; he wasn't sure why his father had decided to keep the big house even after (and before, for that matter) his mother died. Any small house could've done. But, then again.. The more distance apart the better. He frowned, walking into the dining room only to find breakfast sitting for him.

He sat at the table and ate his breakfast, finally beginning to fully wake up. His dad had probably already left for work. Or he was still sleeping; either of the two would work. "Alright! Gotta get pumped! Today's the day!" He said, smiling and standing up. He grabbed his school bag and slipped his shoes on, striding out of the house with overflowing confidence. No reason to be scared, right? After all, it's not like anything could get any worse. As he walked towards the car waiting for him, he frowned. Would it be weird to arrive in a car? Should he walk instead? Ehh, whatever. Mamura got in the car, saying a greeting to his usual driver as they pulled away.

Arriving at the school, he got out of the automobile and walked towards the large building, allowing his gaze to roll over the bustling students, some laughing and talking to their friends, others walking by themselves. His thoughts were interrupted as he bumped into someone, "Ahh! Sorry!" He gasped, looking down at an orange-haired girl. "Woaah! Nora! Hey, it's been awhile," he laughed, relief showing in his tone when he realized it was her. "How've you been?"

Yato got out of his bed, yawning and stretching his legs. He really didn't feel like going to school, but.. His mother would get angry if he started skipping. And his mother was one of the only things he really cared about. So, he got up and got dressed, brushed his teeth, then combed and put his hair up. He didn't have anything for breakfast, so he'd just wait until lunch to eat something. Walking out of the dorms and towards the school, he frowned. He didn't hate school, but he didn't like it much either. If he were allowed to, he'd probably skip, but.. Even imagining his mother's scolding was punishment enough for him to decide it wasn't a good idea.

Until classes started, he decided to stay outside. Yato sank onto the ground outside the school, leaning against the buildings' wall. He didn't really make any friends so it wasn't weird to sit by himself, but sometimes it felt like it was.. Awkward. Earning stares and teases from other students wasn't a rare thing, considering he often started trouble unintentionally. He exhaled softly, turning his scowl away from the large groups of students entering the building or standing around outside. It was too cramped with everyone walking around inside, but there was enough room to be semi-alone outside, so it was the best decision.

It wasn't like he didn't want friends, but.. Caring for things could become troublesome.

Ryouko held her messenger bag over her shoulder, walking forward contently. Ryoshi, he friend was following her; or they were walking together.. I guess. Though he was about five feet behind her. She rose a brow and closed one eye, looking to her right. "You know you can walk next to me, right?" She asked in a sarcastic tone. As he gave a nod and ran after her, he tripped slightly and tried to keep up. Shes sighed. "You're a screw up, you know that?" She smirked and looked at him intently. They were best friends; They'd always hang out. Once the school came into view Ryouko sighed. "Alright. Finally we're here." She mumbled.

As Ryouko walked ahead of him, Ryoshi followed behind about five or six feet. His hands in his pockets and only one of his green eyes showing. He looked down slightly and looked at his friend walking in front of him. He was ready to go back to school; Even after just a couple days off on Saturday and Sunday Ryoshi enjoyed the beach. Ryouko never swam, it was rare to swim with his friend, so he'd swim alone most of the time. When she told him to walk faster, he nodded and ran up to her, tripping on a rock he nearly fell. As she mentioned him being a screw up he chuckled slightly. "T-thats.. funny." He said calmly.
"Yeah, I guess so." He mumbled.

Genji's bright and undeniably exuberant. He's fascinated by the tiniest of things and always comes to class with a smile. Genji's cute mannerisms may make it look like he's fragile, however his continuously unfazed expressions make up for his lack of physical indulgence when people decide to mess with him. At times he may feel awkward, or scared, but he's rarely caught being sad. This isn't because he has a tendency to bottle up his emotions, he just hasn't experienced anything sad enough to sulk about and lived without any extreme sufferings. Because of this, he has trouble with relating to people's problems. Because of his lack of talent in cheering people up, he's been shamed upon a few times for looking like he lacks in empathy for people. This causes him to be socially awkward whenever one of his friend's are upset, perhaps it's from him growing up without much friends and being home schooled for a period of his life.

Most of the time, he is seen as extremely tolerant, optimistic and intelligent. Genji is extremely organised with his work and always sets his priorities straight. He's never a minute late to school, and even if he does, he doesn't freak out, or looks like it anyways. His hardworking attitude leaves him stress-free, however squeezes his free time to a minimum. Genji is known for keeping his cool, however he's still trying to get used to doing work all day no matter how many years he's been doing it for, he's even lost friends because his seeming lack of dedication towards hanging out with people.

Overall he's a calm, easy going guy. However Genji's never experienced anything when things don't go to plan, so when things eventually take a twist, he never knows what kind of panicked state he'll be in. Genji's also relatively social although unintentionally rude on occasion. He gets confused whenever people take his compliments for witty retorts. When it comes to trying to connect to people on an emotional level, his people-skills hit rock bottom. Genji is currently living in a small home with his two, proud parents. His hobbies are programming, studying and web designing, he is currently saving up for a new computer.

Nora unlocked her phone and stared blankly at the screen. "No new notifications? thats weird." She mumbled under her breath, the odd feeling of her side ponytail bouncing distracting the girl for merely a minute. "Dad usually texts me just after I leave..." A small sigh left her parted lips, and just as she was about to shove her phone back into the depths of her jean pockets, the pressure of another body pressed against her side prevented her from doing so.

She stumbled to the side a bit but caught herself just before falling flat onto her bottom. The smile she once had was wiped clean from her lips. Instead it was replaced with a distasteful frown. "Hey! Watch where you're go-!" Although the orangette stopped mid sentence and let her eyes widen, the sight of a very familiar boy lifting her mood. "Oh! Hey Mamura!" She laughed, forgetting about the anger that once overwhelmed her petite body. "I've been good, how about you?"

"Sorry again about that," Mamura laughed, rubbing his head nervously. "It's good that you've been good, though." The tall boy said with a smile, lightly hitting her arm as he chuckled. "I've been great too," he replied, sticking his free hand in his pocket. He was curious; he hadn't seen Nora in a while so it was kind of nice to see her again. "Still obsessed with video games?" He asked in a teasing voice, winking at her and briefly grinning. From what he remembered, she spent nearly every second on her electronics. Speaking of which, he glanced downwards at her phone, which she had previously been trying to slide into her pocket before he'd so rudely bumped into her. Looked like she was still the same about her phone. [short ;v;']
