Kirose nodded, seeing the paper from the corner of her eye. "Yeah, I've ran into afew other avains, they travel alot, so it's only by chance if I see them." She shrugged, and tossed the fish carcass intot he water. "I really haven't given it much thought, why are you so wrapped around this subject?" She shook her head, "Nevermind." SHe snapped open her wings and shot into the air, flying back towards the trees.

Fang smiled, "Yeah, but Gazzy's gonna pretty mad when he finds out we ate his chocolate bar..." He finished his half and tucked the wrapper into the pocket of his dark denim jeans. He leaned back on his hands and studied Max out of the corner of his eye. "What were you thinking about before I came out here?" he asked quietly, shifting his gaze to the sun.

Chayse came to the edge of the group, with her black wings spread out slightly so they knew she was like them. As the one that seemed to be the most cranky left, she felt a bit of relief. She looked back at the other two. "Mind if I join you?" she asked.

"Yeah, it definitely seems like she doesn't really like people." Amy said, not really noticing that she had clearly stated the obvious. Frankly, not talking might have been better than talking in her case. She turned her head for a moment and saw that there was yet another girl walking towards them. "Hi!" She said to Chayse. "No, I don't think we mind." She looked at Jacob. "Well, at least I don't mind."

I smiled slightly, resting my elbows on my knees, then hesitated before answering. "I was thinking about how...grateful I am," I answered, my eyes flickering across the sky. "How lucky I am to have a family like this, a place to live." I glanced back at Fang, smirking slightly. "Aren't I the poetic one?"

JACOB

I smiled, shrugging, meaning that I didn't mind. My eyes flickered over the new comer, and my interest was peaked. She looked very, very familiar. Like...like someone I'd heard about before...someone from the original flock. Fang? My eyes widened slightly, and I tilted my head to the side, observing her.

"Yes you are, I'm pretty sure you just blew Shakespeare out of the water," Fang replied with grin. He looked back at the house. Through the window he could see Angel sitting with Nudge watching TV and Gazzy sneaking up behind the couch. He jumped up and screamed and Angel jumped right off the couch in surprise. She turned around and punched him in the arm angrily. Nudge settled back onto the couch, furrowing her brow in annoyance. Fang couldn't help a small chuckle at the scene. "I guess we are pretty lucky, though."

Chayse smiled as she sat down on the ground. "Thanks, guys," she said. She noticed the boy looking at her, but she dismissed it. "I'm Chayse, by the way."

I smirked and playfully shoved at his arm, then turned to watch the scene as well. I laughed, smiling widely, then sighed, running a hand through my hair. "I think so," I agreed, watching through another window as Iggy wandered around, gently touching countertops with his fingertips. "But I always wonder...did they stop at the six of us?" I asked quietly, my face a bit more serious.

JACOB

I smiled in return and then wrote on the pad with my pen, one word. "Jacob," it read, and I showed the pad to both Amy and Chayse. Just to make sure things were clear, I wrote on the pad again. "I can't talk."
