"Er... Thanks?" Aoibheanne said. She put her helmet on and walked to a carriage.
"Could you take us to Riverwood?" She asked. The driver shook his head.
"Only the holds." The driver replied. "Sorry."
Aoibhe frowned. "Whiterun, then." She stated, tossing the driver some Septims without even bothering to count them.

J'kier groaned, climbing onto the carriage, sitting on the bench opposite her,

"I think its pointless how they only go to the holds. Riverwood isn't far from Whiterun. No wonder these sods dont make enough money to get another job." He snorted with a sarcastic roll of his eyes. J'kier blinked, feeling the fur around his eye brush against the long scar that ran from one eye, to below the other.

"True." Aoibheanne agreed. "But it's better than walking all the way to Riverwood. This way we only have to walk a little."

Jkier nodded,"I guess so. Hopefully we'll make it before sundown. I might need to stop in at Jorrvaskr. Its been awhile." J'kier sighed and leaned back.

Shu'vi's gaze crept across the docs, merely two guards where on duty. The rest of the residents of the docks where Argonians or Dunmer. She found it strange, but alas; it was her first day in this land.
Oh, but she needed some coin. But even she didn't have the heart to make a dock workers's day worse, so she went straight up to a guard; giving the least threatening smile she could manage.
"Good Sir, where do you get a drink around these parts?"
Oh indeed, now, if she could just slip a hand into that pocket of his...

Aoibheanne looked at J'kier, slightly confused. "Sure." She stated as she swung into the carriage. "I dunno what time we'd be back. Most likely in a day or two. Do you get out of Riften often?"

J'kier shook his head, a wry smile played on his lips, "I'm afraid not. I mostly stay in one place and that one place would be behind my desk in the Cistern. I have a drink in the flagon every now and then,but not much. Im hardly ever at my home in Falkreath."

"Oh. Well Skyrim's a lot bigger than you think. Whiterun's at least half a day from.... Well.... Everywhere. Some places more." Aoibhe stated. "I don't exactly have a job but I'm almost never home. I can barely sit still for a week." She pulled her feet onto the bench and rested her head on her knees. A sudden wave of loneliness came over her. Maybe she should stay at home more often. She had what, one true friend? And even then last time she talked to him their conversation barely lasted a minute before she rushed off on her next quest.

Jkier smiled,"Aye, but my work keeps me rather busy. The way I see it is...Im always busy, If you catch my meaning," he raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Being Guildmaster isn't as fun and easy as I thought it'd be, but the jobs bring in money, and thats all I care about. I still wonder how Mercer managed to do it all in reverse without being caught."

Aoibheanne nodded as best she could with her head on her knees.
"Who's Mercer?" She asked. The name sounded familiar but she couldn't put a face to it.
