Eight superpowered humans meeting in one spot, all with reasons -or at least the public assumed so- to want to tear each other apart, certainly seemed to be exciting the city. Even Xavier's uptight and irritating boarding school had canceled all after-school activities so the students -and surely teachers as well- could go and watch the oncoming battle. The cheers of the students had been nearly deafening.
"Hey, Kiero!" Kiro winced as he heard his name mispronounced, before turning to the source of the voice. A friend of his, looking as excited as most of the others. That made Kiro grin; that friend had deliberately mispronounced his name to get his attention, and he knew it. "Just say 'Xavier'. It's easier." Kiro/Xavier advised, with a roll of his eyes.
"Meh. So, Kiero, shall we go watch the show together? We're gonna have a bit of a party while it happens, cause the teachers will be busy~" The friend was excited, both for the show and freedom. Kiro put on a sad expression and shook his head, making himself look regretful. "Sorry, I already told someone I'd go watch it them..."
"A girl?" The friend asked, immediately grinning. Kiro's face darkened and he lightly hit the boy across the head. "Hey, hey! I was kidding!" Kiro rolled his eyes and stepped back, until the friend spoke again. "You're too violent for them anyway~"
Kiro spent the next five minutes chasing his friend across the town, until they were both out of breath -Kiro was faking it- and waved good-bye, saying they'd meet up after the show. Kiro gave him a last grin before vanishing back into the town.
Green color-contacts were put over his dark brown eyes, and Kiro blinked away a small tear at the corner of his eyes as he put them in. He always disliked sticking things near his eyes. His similarly dark brown hair was dyed black quickly; 'Sync' had a reputation for showing up with random hair colors, and no one knew what his actual one was. Black was one he hadn't used in awhile, and wasn't that hard to get out of his hair. A dark green windbreaker was thrown over his shirt and zipped up, his pans exchanged for the slightly loose black pair he usually wore to fights like these to keep movement easy, and a simple brown belt. Gloves, different shoes, a small scarf that was wrapped around his neck and lower face, and a safe place to hide his ordinary clothes were hastily located, and Sync was ready for the fight. Everyone was so eager to watch the fighting and Sync was bored; he would try to give them a good show, even if the fights were getting a bit dull.
"Well then." Sync commented quietly to himself, looking around one last time to make sure no one had seen him. However, everyone had flocked to where the battle would be centered; there was not a whisper to be heard and not a person to be seen. "Time to impressive the humans, again."
And with that, Sync was off, which for a boy as fast as him was quite something. It only took about a minute for him to cross the distance between where he was and where he was supposed to be. Locating a rooftop to sit, Sync stopped there, and waited.
