[Small-but_deadly]

"Um," Piper said, scratching his head, and tried to remember how long he'd been in the library. It wasn't long, but he didn't have a watch and hadn't found anyway of telling the time in the library. "Two days, I think," he replied with a small smile, tucking his hands into his pockets.

"Teala, and you?" Teala asked, standing up from her chair and going over to the vase. The picked it up gently, surprised to find that it was warm unlike you'd expect glass to be. She looked inside to see a swirling liquid, but didn't dare touch it. The liquid could be an acid or something like that.

Kia gazed at the vase Teala was holding then answered, "I'm Kiashi or Kia." She said softly, the vase was beautiful. Kia shook her head and huffed to herself then started to pace again, back ond forth, back and forth, she got herself into a trance and her surroundings blacked out until she was the only thing in her world.

Danica nodded slowly. "Ah. Uh, I've been here for, um, about three or four days." She paused, thinking. "So, uhm, how old are you?" She asked, her heart thudding as she tried to think of conversation topics. 'Come on, think! Wait, why are you, like, having a panic attack over conversation topics? You freak! Get over it, stop being such a shy, panicky wierdo!' She scolded herself mentally, forcing her heartbeat to slow down and trying to relax.

"Only 13," Piper replied cheerfully and then, curiously, asked her, "Why did you come in here in the first place?" He had come in for a dare, wishing now that he hadn't, but he could never refuse dares. He shuffled his feet slightly on the floor, feeling a bit older as the girl was obviously older than he was.

Teala watched the girl wandering back and forth, she didn't want to lave Kiasha as she had only just entered but she felt like exploring a bit more. She decided to stay a little longer and began to wander round the room, checking for anything that could be useful. A shard of glass would do as a knife but she didn't want to break the glass as it was beautiful.

Kia turned to face Teala her face brightened in a weird happiness, "Am I dead already? I didn't think I would die so soon, the doctors said I had a couple of months left, they must have made a mistake.." She kept babbiling on about how she had this disease which was slowly killing her and about that she didn't think death would be this painless and how that the after life was a bit weird when she had finished she regarded Teala curiously, "Did you die as well?" She asked.

Danica smiled slightly. "I'm 14. Oh, and I came in because, um... Well, I thought it was a normal library, so I wondered why people didn't come in, but I came in anyway to find, uh, a book to read, but, um, I couldn't get out. Um. What about you?" She asked, her voice slowly getting quieter as she carried on talking, her self-conscious shyness overtaking her mind.

"I was dared to come in here by some friends, then couldn't leave," Piper replied, smiling sadly. He kept on telling himselft that he would leave in the end, or that it must be a dream, but he was doubtful. It all seemed to real to leave and he had seen no way of escaping since he had entered.

"You're not dead, and I'm definitely not dead," Teala said firmly and then gestured around, "All this is real, strange I admit, but real." She felt slightly sorry for the girl, it would be awful knowing that you were going to die of an illness that you couldn't do anything about.

"Oh." Was all Kia said, her face fell and tears welled up in her eyes, she was scared and stressed and it was overwhelming her. She dropped to her knees and backed up into the wall, she stared ahead blankly as tears poured down her face and dripped onto the glass floor.

"Oh..." Danica murmured simply and lowered her head. Suddenly, her flew to where her bow rested, her other hand reaching for an arrow. "Shh... I can hear something..." She turned her head towards the door, her eyes wide. Her heart thudded inside her chest as images of the creatures she had seen in the library resurfaced in her mind. She stood up straight, gripping the bow tightly and glancing around the room, picking out hiding places.
