Poppy twirled a long strand of brown hair around her finger. Humming to herself, she made her way down the market street. Looking at all the shiny fish was making her hungry, yet she had no money at the moment; that she spent on those beautiful pair of earrings her favorite clothing store down south. Smiling brightly, Poppy fiddled with said earrings. Looking pretty was way more important than food; that she could easily steal.

Passing through a particular crowded area, she shape-shifted into a small, dirty-looking child. Walking up to a pretty (and nice looking) Neko talking to a guard and drinking lemonade, Poppy tugged on her shirt.

"Excuse me, miss?"

Liam pulled his sweatshirt over his dark head and looked around the Square, people streaming from every direction. He observed everyone and licked his lips, deciding who will be his lunch. Humans were common, and Neko's are pretty good too. But Angel blood is a delicacy and Angels don't donate blood to bloodbanks.

Jake smiled as he sipped his lemonade with Paige and the Angel. He then saw poppy and narrowed his eyes a little. He didn't like beggers, children or not. He always felt as if they were cons.

Paige flicked her ears softly when she felt someone tug at her shirt. She turned her head and looked at the stranger. Her eyes narrowed as well as she felt bad energy from the girl. "Yes?" she asked, softly.

Poppy sniffled. "I-I can't find my parents. They were suppose to be over here, but I can't find them anywhere! Today was the day they promised me they'd buy me some sweet bread!" Poppy loved sweet bread. "But they told me to wait at the center while they did some business..." Poppy faked a sniffle again and rubbed at her eyes with a small hand. If these guys were smart, they'd think that her parents were caught by guards or abandoned her, and hopefully feel sorry enough to buy her some food~ They looked pathetic enough to believe her, even if one was a guard.

Jake smiled. "Then we should find your parents, yes? I doubt the guards would take them unless they were cons, and if they were, they sure wouldn't leave a child alone."

Paige began to feel sorry for the girl but the bad feeling didn't go away. "Yes. What he said. We'll help you find them." she said with a small smile. She looked around for a moment but didn't see anyone. "What kind of business do your parents work at?" she asked. If she knew where the parents worked at, then she would hopefully know where they were.

Jane thanked Jake and then looked at the little girl. "When did they say they were going to be backat?" She felt pity for the little girl.

Sara jumped off the roof, landing as a falcon again. She was not very eager to show off her other forms. "I'm Sara White." she grabbed Cherry's reins. "Want a ride? It'll get us wherever we're going quicker." She reached into her pouch and pulled out her riding gloves, but the necklace came out too. She put it in her bag as fast as she could, hoping Nikky hadn't seen it.

Devon looked past the building tops and saw Nikky with another girl. Please don't get into trouble, he thought as he waved to her. Even though I am. . . HE continued and finally came into the sunlight of the Square. HE jumped back, his skin already getting warm. Sighing, he ventured to a tent selling decorated qults and rugs, careful not to catch the eye of the guard.

Poppy frowned. Crap. Shaking her head, she answered, "I don't know where they work. They never tell me anything." She stared sadly at the ground. "They say I might get them in trouble if I knew what they do." She gasped. "I wasn't supposed to tell you that either!" She began tearing up again. "Now wonder they don't tell me anything! Waaah!" She was really starting to lose her touch. Maybe it was time to go back into thievery...

Jake stared at her. "Um, well I suppose we can't help you then... What are your parent's names?" This was not just a poor little Southern girl. "I can help you find them by their names, you know." If was really looking for her parents, she would do anything, since little kid don't know much.
