Ignoring Thorrissia's warnings, I stepped toward the portal. This was something I had to do. The last time I didn't fight, my loved ones died. Now I was determined not to let it happen again.

(Oh yes indeed!!! I love suspense!! Unless I am the 1 left hanging. But not right now! Haha! I am in control!!! -cackles maniacally-)

I dove toward the portal, determind not to let so many die when 1 life was all that needed to be sacrificed. I could hear Thorrissia screaming at me, warning me about the dangers. I already knew about thedangers. I knew all to well.

I dove towards the portal, not heeding Thorrissia's warnings. She meant well, but she didn't understand. She didn't know how it felt to know that if not for my cowardice, my family might be alive. I couldn't let the ones I lovesd most die if I have a chance to stop it. This was my chance. As I entered the portal I felt a strange sensation. A buzzing throughout my body. Then a bright burst of light and.... I could see through 2 sets of eyes. Smell with 2 noses. Move with 2 bodys. My brain felt like it was going to explode. All the strain on my mind, trying to control 2 of me. This is how dragons died from the portal. Their minds couldn't handle the pressure. But a simple spell could fix that, or at least dull the searing pain. "A spell for head aches," my father once said, "Is all that is needed to survive the portal." And so I did that spell, and the throbbing pain turned into a dull ache.

Flitz was being typical Flitz. She blasted holes in the dark dragon with searing spells.

Yukila hummed a high-pitched spell, and spears of light pierced some dark dragons.

I saw Flick jump in after me. Could he handle the pain? I sure hoped so. "Do a headache spell!" I shouted over my shoulder. But now it wasn't time to think about that. With 1 of my 2 bodies, I went after the dark dragon who had stolen the little mystic. With my other I fended off the dragons going after Thorrissia.

I almost didn't heard Flick. The sounds of battle, and my own pounding head where too loud. But I just barely heard him, as if he where wispering into my ear. 'Elridge comutasila nytatia!' 2 of me recited. The closing of the portal. With that done, my 2 bodys returned to their tasks. 1 was helping the Queen, while the other, was going after the little mystic. Hitacky gret niya ella mana mana explodious!' the 1 of me going after Thorrissia's child screamed. The dark dragon I was chasing screamed in outrage as his body stopped on its own accord. Or rather, MY accord. It gave me enough time to catch up, but the spell was only temperary, and could only be used once on every dragon. I was only a few feet away when his free will was returned to him. Then the battle commenced.
