Lestrade looked at her. "I'm starting to feel like I'll believe just about anything one of you people says, but I'm guessing gravity generators would be a misnomer if the actually prevent someone from falling instead of being the cause themselves..."

"Well, you are right. It's more like gravity orientation." Roger consented. "The floor is down." She pointed up at the ceiling. "See how it has those separators? That can't be the floor, to the Tardis, that is. So, if you find a corridor that goes down, the Tardis is going to have you fall to the floor, not the end of the corridor." She smiled. "At least thats what Grandnana told me."
In the vast universe, the history of humanity is
but a flash of light from a lone star.
The life of a single person should be
lost in space and time.
But among the stars, there is
one light that burns brighter than all others.
The light of Samus Aran.
Her battles extend beyond her life,
and etch themselves into history.
With the death of the planet Phaaze,
Samus Aran's arduous fight
against Phazon has ended.
However, in the vast
regions of space,
this victory is just a twinkle of a star,
spreading the light of hope
through the darkness.

Lestrade looked puzzled. "It's the floor that used to be the end of the corridor?" he asked, confused and looking up as directed, then looking back at her with the look he had whenever Sherlock wasn't making sense yet.

"No." Roger said. "Look, the floor we are currently standing on, the Tardis told herself that all surfaces that looked like this would be down for people like us. If you were to walk into the downfacing corridor, you would think that, facing down, you would fall until hitting the bottom. The Tardis says otherwise, however. She has decided that down for us is floors like the one we are on..." She stopped and pulled on his sleeve, spotting a downward corridor. "Look, I'll show you." She said, and ran over to the seemingly endless drop. She moved so she was facing what she called the floor in this corridor. She took a step, and disappeared from view.

Lestrade followed Roger to the edge. "Oh, I see. So, in a way, it's like walking around the globe, but much smaller and with paths in more directions." He stepped over the side and found that up had changed direction.
