"That way, then!" Tamby grumbled, pointing forwards and to the left a little. She was following her inner compass, her gut was telling her that was the right way.

BIC: Lia glared at Zarek. "Really, Zarek? Really? Are you going to seriously shoot me for taking the stairs? Would you start a war over it?" Her jaw clenched in anger. Now, when she looked at him, she only saw the hateful thing that he was, especially after what he had just done. "So you just expect me to jump off. Couldn't you just, oh, I don't know... escort us off of the stage via the staircase?" She wanted to kill him so, so badly, as she was sure he wanted to do to her. A cruel smile lifted her lips. "Oh, goody. So you'll die all the sooner."

Aislyn sighed. "Alchemy. What fun stuff. The thing that can truly take down everything from demons to paladins." She looked up at the stage, surprised that the angel and the girl hadn't left it yet. "Why's Zarek keeping them up there? Such an idiot." It was sort of strange that they were all talking so casually. At least insults were thrown into the mix every now and then.

Thorn pointed blankly into the crowd, indicating that she would have to find them somewhere amongst all the students down there. "Fighting is a waste of time. And it's incredibly disorganized, at least the Roman's kept in formation." The wizard sighed wistfully, wishing all modern warfare included being based entirely around symmetry. "Anyway, I suppose fighting is one strongpoint of magic."Jess and Fayt nodded their butterfly heads, agreeing with the two wizards. "Though they'll probably regret not getting you two into the act." Jess muttered, wondering how much the two wizards would have helped in the battle.

George caught what Jess said and chuckled, " Jess. you flatter us. but besides. if they really wanted us, instead of excepting us to risk our necks fro no purpose, they should ask." Sylphia smiled and glided over the 2 warlocks and blended into the crowd. George whistled for Bill and he came zooming in munching at a rats tail.

Lucas laughed, " SARANU! really? i bet that if some atomic bomb hit him he's live! that guy is like a god. doesn't die. i swear. and i'm not sure where we are actually. the debri is still heavy in the air. um..where did the building incident happen again....???" He's totally clueless since he was reading the past 2 months....( )

"They did." Thorn muttered, remembering the vague conversation where Hecate had been encouraging him to fight on their side in the battle. "But it doesn't matter. I'm a wizard, what do they expect?" Yeah, okay, so his species had a higher IQ but was otherwise humans with magic, except for the fact that they tended to have nasty personalities, and be very selfish. "Hm. Still keep the bird?" He muttered, watching Bill eating with distaste.

Zarek grinned at her first comment. "I started a war when I blew up that building. Don't doubt that I would happily shoot you right now, for any excuse I've got. However, I do need an excuse since the battle hasn't actually started, so don't go giving me one." When she tried to get to him with her last comment he just rolled his eyes, sighing and looking bored. "Seriously? You haven't dropped that yet? Jeez, you are an idiot. Can't think of anything better? Boo hoo, I'm so scared, Lia's telling me I might die." He pretended to cry, sneering again at the girl. "The only way anyone's killing me is if I let 'em, so try and be a little more original next time, kay?"

"Demons aren't as hard as they seem. Dark matter, anything holy, light magic, most magic actually because that can be pretty destructive, keep them away from their food source for long enough, take their weapon if they've got one, etcetera etcetera." The paladin, done with his not so carefully disguised insults, turned back tot he stage and shrugged. "Why? It's not like he's got too much to worry about. A fast paced young girl armed with pepper spray and an era-confused angel with three alchemic guns aimed at him don't make for the world's most frightening opponents. Much as I hate to admit it, nobody can really do anything to them up there, not when there's the chance we might set off the battle before our side is sure where the enemy is coming from." He could be kind of judgmental, and the worse part was that he didn't even realize it.

OOC: Oh, hey, I thought you were talking to D.soul XD I'll do that soon :3 So wait, Serdolan should see them? Mhm, I love it too, but they should definitely add some more religions in there...

BIC: Lia nearly stepped forward to slap at him again, but she knew that it wouldn't do anything. Instead, she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, then turned her head away from Zarek so that she couldn't see him. She glanced up at her new guardian angel, then towards the edge of the platform. "Let's go. There's nothing left here worth saving."

Suddenly, Aislyn started laughing at Urick, finding all that he said amusing. "Dude, you're worse than me, I hope you know. No wonder why most people stay away from you. You're more blunt and critical than me, and that's saying something." She thought about that for a second. "Wait. You might not be worse than me, but you're still bad. I'm at least aware of it and let it be known. People just think it's a negative personality of yours."

George thought everything through. i don't like fighting. im not that great at it. i don't really like being a coward. but...what is the point. if nothing happens. this subject is too depressing. should i change it..hm..naw....ill let him. don't want to irritate him. with out noticing, George was in deep thought as Bill began to stare off at Jess. AW! bill might like her. wish i could grant him talking..i wonder... " well. i was never really pressured, at least...that i can remember that actually MADE an impact. so, they want you. not me. cause you're well rounded and all. I'm just good at fire, and witting essays.i guess also a strategist, but not too good. then again, all this fighting it just bam! and all. and i still got my bird, you still got your two butterflies also."

(( here you go. u had a writters block 4 leo. but i still replied soemthing. ua sked what was teh strangest thing Harper has ever turned into. i replied...

RIGHT! i remember. my freind dared my to turn into all of the things ive turned into all at once. it wasn't pretty. luckily i was yound and it only cosisted of pets and some wild animals i saw so it wasn't too bad. now if i did it. i mgiht KILL MYSELF! i don't really know actually." she was puzzled.

"Though magical entities that cannot do very much at all are hardly useful in warfare." Thorn replied with a rueful smile, ignoring the angry looks he earned from Jess and Fayt. That is, if a butterfly could pull of an angry look. it was certainly a sight to see, and probably never to be seen in any normal butterfly. "Anyway, fire is quite useful, especially because while elementals and demons need to create it on their bodies, we can just do this." He gripped his staff tightly, though it wouldn't be noticeable for someone who didn't know it was necessary, and glanced vaguely at a fluttering sheet of paper, which promptly burst into flame. "See? If that had a been a person it might have been amusing." He was joking... hopefully.

Zarek raised an eyebrow in amusement at her last comment. Nothing left worth saving? now what could that mean? "Poor little Velius, not worth your time then?" He chuckled, glancing at the oracle and smiling wryly. "Apparently, kid, you're not worth the effort." He taunted, amused with Lia's comment, sure, she probably hadn't meant it that way, but damned if he wouldn't take the opportunity.

"Wait... what?" Urick blinked in confusion a few times, not entirely sure about what he had said. "Well, I'm critical, yes, but you have to be when you're as picky as I am with who you let into your group. If I wasn't so cynical half the students who came would be dead because we accepted them without bothering to point out their... less than desirable traits."

Aislyn laughed at Urick's excuse. "Sweety," she told him, an eyebrow raised, "there's a personality you need for your work, and a personality you need for your life. You've combined them. Sad, isn't it?" She did the same thing a lot of the time, but she had a slightly separate personality. When they were just talking like this, she was more... flirty? Well, whatever she was, she was a lot less horrible, which pissed people off.

Lia's eyes widened, looking horrified. She had completely forgotten about Velius, which she couldn't believe. There just hadn't been any noise, and she had been completely focused on the drama. "I didn't mean it like that!" Lia hissed, glaring at him. "You know what I meant."

Serdolan shrugged. "Hey, as long as I can understand you, it's not too bad, right?" He looked back down towards the cops. "When do you think they're actually going to attack? This is getting boring."

Saranu sighed and ran off in the direction the young angel had pointed, hoping the students would actually be there. You'd think Piper would have maybe SAID something about where they were going before charging them all off into the distance like that.

Urick considered what she said, totally uncaring. "No, I don't think you do. Especially because it's not my work, and technically this is. I'm a knight, this is warfare, and in warfare you need to look at things from every angle, including the people. Frankly, I wouldn't want to act differently in my 'work' than I did on my own time, pointless really. If I had a sales job sure, then I need to try and work with peoples personalities, but my job consists of being me and fighting."

"Sure, sure." Zarek chuckled, he'd had fun misdirecting her comment. Sure, Velius probably knew Lia's slip up too, but it was still amusing. At her last comment he looked at her seriously for probably the first time since they'd been up there. "No, I really don't."

Kenyon shrugged his wolflike shoulders and continued pacing, still lumbering around on four legs. Despite being able to stand on his hind legs, this was preferred, since it was a lot more comfortable. "Soon. Think had to wait for them?" He glanced at the group on stage again, totally lost as to what they were all doing up there.

Aislyn shrugged, about as uncaring as he was. "Technically, you're on break, because there's nothing that can be done right now. Too bad no one will let me attack Zarek. I could kill him easily." She sighed, still upset by the fact of not being able to crush him under her fingers... Oh well. Eventually, she would get her chance.

Surprised that he was actually being serious, Lia watched him carefully, just as serious as he was. "Yes, you do. You know exactly what I meant by it. Zarek, there is nothing worth saving up here. And you know that I'm not talking about Velius, me, the angel, or the cops." She was completely truthful at the moment.

"Maybe they're late? Maybe something happened to them that made them have to wait?" Or maybe they were setting something up... Serdolan really had no more clue anymore. Anything could happen at this point, as seen by all of the drama onstage. Almost nothing was happening.
