Watching the last of the ripples fade away in the dark cold lake water a slight movement got her eyes to peer in there corners to catch Alec's blonde like hair swirlign beside him as he talked out in a husky voice, and from what she seen was kind of closed off about the whole though of the subject of healing. With a groan he got to his feet to move up beside her though without seeing well he walked a bit to far in to hit the walker with his shoes that easy drew in the water like a sponge. "Hey its okay. Maybe, tomorrow I can show you a trick for eyesight," she said softly before turning back to the waater with her brown eyes blinking gently against the soft night wind.
With him starting to talk she could caught a bit of plan unknown in his voice which spook even her to her hair that he did not even know the person let alone get a werid description. Her head turned to face him as he finished up the werid answer to who he was, and what he did. The problem was she couldn't remember the fact of how he healed or, or what he looked like, nor could she remember how she stopped from attacking Alec? Gulping she blinked her eys again as if really trying to get that she couldn't remember it before telling him, and even testing it proven true. "I can't remember. Its like when he touched he all my sences blacked out, and even my mind when black. It was werid, but I could remember some words in my head from when he healed me. He said, "I am neither your friend or foe, but this time friend, next time foe." he said to me," she told Alec kind of nervous that out of everything she could remember a threat then his touch or looks.

He wasn't really paying as much attention to his surroundings as he should have been, his mind was stuck on her words. 'I am neither your friend or foe, but this time friend, next time foe.' Did that mean next time that guy came around, that he would be their foe? Would he try to kill them? "Well, I think we should probably try to A, get back to our fire. or, B, stay here and start another one." Alec let the words come out flat, no emotion in them what so ever. There was deffinetaly a difference between now and earlier. The chance meeting hours ago between them had been one thing, and it all just led from one thing to another. He was tired of being the friendly guy. What happened to him shutting his yap around someone he didn't know? What happened to sticking to his word? Why had he automatically started off right on track with this girl, but everyone else he met he managed to be snappy and argue his way around. Now he just felt. . . different, not himself. Sure, he might act this way to someone he was a close friend, but someone he didn't know at all? No, he would never be this way around them!
Alec sighed softly, raising both arms to cross behind his head. "Why don't we just try to get some sleep where ever we end up?" He told her softly, voice more friendly this time. There might be a difference, but he still wasn't going to just jump around with his personality like he had some Alter Ego going on or something.
His eyes dipped back towards Lulu, and he smiled a little. It was just a small lift in one corner of his lips, but it meant something to him. It meant that she was still his friend through and through. "I might be able to start the fire myself this time, and not end up burning someone."

Hearing him speak her eyes looked gently over to him to see how the words so easily came from his lips, and even with no emotion coming from them she wondered if Alec was turning back into the first moment she seen him. Letting her head rise a little she looked up into the night stared sky that stayed above there heads. She was quiet to keep to herself as he thought in his own head, and if he desred she would be alone with herself as well as her head gazed up at the stars. A few caught her eyes, and even two that where pure purple and glowing made her hair fluttered behide her with the wind. It blinked them close a few times before the two stars shot off at lighting speed towards another area. She wondered about telling Alec about the unknown creature watching them, but deciding to only bring trouble she kept her mouth shut. A soft sigh came from her side, and noticing it Alec crossed both his arms behide his head before speaking. "Good with me. I think we both need our...rest," she said yawning herself with tiredness dripping in her voice. Finishing her yawn she noticed a smile on his lips as his head leaned over to her a bit, and she lifted one eye a bit in mock smirking. "I hope so, but if you make the fire I can find some soft bedding of leaves we can use? I am just worried about the bugs, or wait. How about you make the fire, and I will make the surpirse for tonight?" she said smiling at the idea coming into her head.

In responce to her last words, an eyebrow rose but nothing else was said on his end. He was tired, felt a headache coming on, and was wickedly confused as to why on earth he hadn't treated her like everyone else when he first met them. Cradling the back of his head, Alec nodded slightly at her. They might as well get going, he didn't want to get caught by those wild dogs again. "I guess I'll go gather firewood. Can't have the fire just fading out." He lifted one both shoulders as if saying 'eh'. His full attention was on Lulu though, and he noticed that she had brown eyes, not green like that Raptors. Silently he wondered if that meant that when she transformed if she had control over her mind, or if she had a completely different mindset.
Opening his mouth to say something, Alec paused. 'just don't get hurt' was going to come out of his mouth, but he stopped himself. She knew better then to get hurt, so he didn't need to remind her. Which made him pause again. Why didn't he want to warn her to be careful? Inhaling sharply, Alec turned on his heels to go do what he'd said. He offered no word as to why exactly he just left without another word, and once again his mind, heart, and gut were all telling him to do different things.
"Just get over yourself McGuel, you barely know her." He softly growled as he walked away from Lulu, arms dropping back to his side as he searched for anything that would help the fire continue to burn. Mind wandering, Alec's thoughts warred with themselves. How would she react if he didn't come back? Would she even care? Why am I even wondering what her reaction would be? How would I react if she didn't come back at all? Fine! I'd be just fine! Alec clenched his teeth as he walked. Everything around him seemed to be arguing as well. Tree branches seemed to come out of no where and completely attack him as he walked, and every once in a while one would manage to snap him the face or legs.

With his leaving she could feel a sort of growing wire that was like a cord ready to snap on Alec. It seemed to her by the way he was opening his mouth without saying a word, or now acting so distant it made her wonder if he even cared about her at all anymore. Would she care? She blinked her copper eyes before getting to the beds which thankfully she decided to unleash so of this anger that she had boiling inside. Knowing he was safely gone she easily shifted her arms to the shoulders in raptor hands where three long fingers clenched at her sides with nice long black blades. She didn't know much anymore about Alec, but he seemed so off key at times. She wished he would stop fighting with himself, and just pick what he wanted, because she knew if he kept this up she might just fall for him before getting dumped by him. Even with that thought earned a small growl to the water as she moved away form the bank to come against two large trees. Well, she knew if he would leave, at least she would then give away herself to let him die then suffer anymore. I mean why let someone live anymore when the world be be much cruel in your death. Her breath was rigid as her claws came straight into one of the trees trunk with force, and the tree itself moaned with pain as her daggers sliced deeply into his trunk. She did this process over a good amount of times with all her anger lashing out of the tree in mad swings, and even a few sheading tears till it began to topple over into the lake. One it began to fall she moved out of the way as it fell down into the lake water, and its body slamming against the grass with a loud thud around. One down she came to the side to carve a good enough bed, but her heart was beating so out of control she could barely keep her own mind from losing itself. Her eyes switiched from green to blue then back again till the colors almost bleeded with pain form the color reshift so many times, and for once she just moved onto the tree to sit down and stare into the sky with a emotionless gaze.

Before he even had a chance to yell or try to say anything, Grace tackled him onto his back. As Shawn stared into her eyes, he couldn't really think of anything that he could do to make her stop this attack. His only hope was that she would run out of energy soon. She was wounded after all. . .That was it! Her wound! You know, he finally figured out how he might be able to stop her, when she attacked his face. He felt her canines dig into his nose. Both of his hands rose up on instinct, the palm of one over her wound. Ice dug at the heels of them both. Between the pain in his wrist, nose, and now the heels of his hands, it was almost enough to knock him out.
It was the worst pain his power had ever given him, and he could barely even feel Grace's fur around his fingers. A scream managed to work its way out of his mouth. When his eyes finally refocused, he was shocked to find that not only were his arms encased in Ice, but so was the Snow Leopards chest and forelegs. The Ice was slowly working it's way around, spreading around both of them. He knew it had to be at least an inch or two thick. "Grace, why. . .?" It left his mouth, and with it the rest of his will to stay alive and to fight the nagging of sleep and unconsciousness.
His body went limp as he finally was knocked out by the days events. The Ice still spread, and even at the roots of his hair there was frost spreading. He wasn't hurt enough to die, but he had lost enough blood to fall out of consciousness.

After he had sucessfully tripped, scraped his cheek, neck, arms, and hands, and walked into a tree, Alec had gathered enough fire wood to head back. His headache was going full blast, and he could feel blood across his cheek bone start to slowly drip downwards. Since both hands were full with the twigs, logs, sticks, and tree branches, he had nothing to wipe away the droplets of red blood. His eyes barely made out trees before they appeared in front of him, and he was finding it harder and harder to not just give up and make the fire where he was.
Hearing the familiar sound of the water, Alec sighed with relief. He had been left alone with his thoughts for far too long, and he was beginning to want to punch something. A wall would've already crumbled to his growing anger, so a tree would do nicely once he had the fire built. That is, once he finally got back to the water. He hadn't known how far he'd actually wandered, and by now he was starting to fall asleep as he walked. The sound of his feet falling onto the sandy dirt were lulling him to sleep.
Sandy dirt?! Alec blinked rapidly for a second, but then he could see the water rippling. Relief washed over him as he continued to trudge his way forward a few steps. The only thing though, was that he couldn't make out Lulu. Maybe she really did leave, Not likely the thought, he quickly dropped the various tree parts onto the ground where he stood. Thinking that he might as well start the fire up, Alec piled the logs and branches together, breaking limbs as he went.
After neatly piling them into a Tepee, he scattered the thinner twigs and dry leaves into the cracks. With a swipe, he managed to just smear the blood across his face instead of wiping it away. Giving the sticks an irritated look, he then closed his eyes and concentrated on his anger. Fueling the fire indeed, He though of Izzy, all those people who died that day, the scientist, his mixed feelings about Lulu, the Raptor Lulu, the Wild Dogs attacking, and finally, the one that took the cake. His mind lingered on the thoughts of that Unknown guy, the one with the purpil pupils. As if on command, his finger tips enflamed and danced wildly in the nights breeze. Alec watched them for a moment, amazed that it was that easy. To just think of the case of his anger to make his power work. He'd just been experimenting whether it would work or not, and it had.
Frowning slightly though, he reached out to light the twigs and leaves. They would get the fire lit up without his help. When he pulled away, his hands were still brightly lit. How was he going to douse the flames? He tried flicking them quickly like you would a match. It didn't even dim the fire. Lowering his eyebrows, Alec tried a different tactic, thinking again of the anger inside him. The only helped the fire to grow, and the dim pain from his various cuts seemed to burn. "What the hell?" He growled softly, trying to wipe off the blood on his face with his shoulder. Something managed to catch the shirt he was wearing on fire, and he quickly looked towards a cut on his forearm. There was a faint outline of red and orange, barely even burning, like hot ashes.

{Thought I'd just say - Yes, when Alec talks to himself he calls himself McGuel, his last name. x3}

Grace felt exposed. Her body was built for ice, but extreme temperatures like these was the reason why the snow leopard species were endangered. Her skin tingled and it sent chills down her spine. Grace felt aching pain near her heart. Had the ice reached it? Her heart pounded, giving her a massive headache. She felt dizzy, seeing more than one of Shawn. The forest turned into a wall of trees, seeming one after one surrounded them, leaving no way out. Her breathing enhanced, causing very loud gasping sounds as her throat closed up.

One of her legs had lost feeling, making her fall to the ground. She stumbled to get up, but she couldn't move. Her body felt as if it had a thousand weights attached to it, making her triple the weight. Grace whined, her vision started turning to blackness. What was happening to her? What had Shawn done to her? Grace then knew. When the coldness reached her heart, it triggered a heart attack. Grace rolled to her back, hoping that Shawn was still awake. No! He was lying on the ground and wasn't moving. Was he dead? His skin had been covered with ice, and soon could suffocate him if she didn't help. Grace managed to crawl to Shawn, but knew she only had seconds before she would pass out. Grace opened her mouth and bite off some ice that was making its way to his face. Why was she doing this? Wasn't he just the goverments trap? Whether or not, he was still human. This boys life could be on her hands. Grace bit off another piece. Shee couldn't do it, she wouldn't be able to save him. Grace found herself crying, but as her tears fell to the ground they turned to ice and shattered. Blackness had finally taken over her eyes, and she fell on Shawn's chest. Was she going to die? The both of them, in a freak accident and a freak world. It was all her fault. She should of never met Shawn! His death was her fault. She couldn't let him die! Not both of them!

Grace opened one eye, Shawn was still laying under her. "Shawn! Wake up" She cried. Her fingers dug under a piece of ice that covered Shawn's chest. Wait? Fingers? Her voice? She was human again! Grace looked down to find herself wearing no clothes. It didn't matter, she had to save Shawn. For a few minutes she clawed at the ice til she grew frostbite on her fingers. Her attention was then returned to herself, and her aching heart. Grace gasped for breath as she hugged herself for warmth. She fell beside him, scrunched up in a ball. When will Shawn wake up. Will he ever forgive her? That last thought stayed in her mind as she floated to blackness. Will he ever forgive her?

Time passed, and it seemed though with the log now cut into well somewhat by her anger a vampire bed she knew it was starting now to get deep into the night where chills where great as well as the night predators went on the move. Blood coated her hands from the work, and it dripped slowly onto the ground in drops as she waited for his return. It was hard to find that even as she waited in the cold brezzes that Alec did leave her, and that she was really wrong about him after all. I mean he could have gotten lost, but with the light bit of growing on moonlight she highly doubted that Alec would get himself lost when firewood as all around, which lead her to know he did ditch her. Anger boiled inside her that even her once pained eyes went green in a easy snap, and her body so badly went half of her raptor form with scales covering her arms and legs like a cloak. Just when she was about to go searching for him the Unknown one came down with a slight smile on his face as he seen the half raptor girl. With his eyes of purple stars they began to spin wildly inside his eyes as it a tilt. She watched them spin, and seeming so ever cut, and the bone that broke before sent a blast of electric power in her vains that burned like fire. Floating above her her wrapped his arms around her arms and her body with easy movements, and even she did not fight it as the pain volts kept ringing thoughout her body. With a bit of his eyes scanning aross the ground he easily smiled with delight as tiny lighting bolts came from his eyes to light up the area in fire. The bank sparked, and the grass lit, and even against the sun his fire was like that as well. Before leaving he made a mental note for the boy if he did return to he spot. Taking her shirt he torn off a piece to drop it here, and another to the wind to slowly drift to where he might just for anger like he promised himself to do. "Foe," he spoke out before launching himself into the sky with Lulu and in his wake a fire roaring though the forest at speed of destruction. Inside Lulu eyes grew mad with anger towards the thing that carried her. She didn't enjoy these volts of pain, and even now she could think of what might be happening to Alec at this time. Was he okay? She stopped herself as wind slapped her face in speed. He didn't even return. He didn't care about, and it he did he would just think of the idiot she was. So closing her eyes she watched bhide her as the light faded off into the distant sight, and with a last bit of will she closed her eyes to at least gain some energy to escape.
