Suspicion grew in the bosmer as her eyes narrowed. "She wants to stay? In a prison?" Her hand began to reach for her dagger

"Yeah..... she won't even tell me why. I tried to convince her but she wouldn't listen to me." Za'zah said. He looked at her, he was telling the truth.

Synette
Synette Greensmith reached out to swing open the door to
the Bee and the Barb. She felt tired, sure, was sleep worth
another night in the Rift? Was it honestly worth sleeping in
such an enclosed space, on an overly soft mattress, in a place
so far from her home in Falkreath. She looked from the pain-
ted sign and elaborately built wooden building to the furry
pelts she wore and yanked her arm back as if the doorknob
had burned her. She backed up slowly at first then began to
outright flee from the building. She shook her head as she ran
and was soon out of the gates of Riften. After a minute of ru-
inning she stopped to catch her breath and gazed at the river
that ran along her right-hand side. She stood and stared at it
for a while, thinking of how cool it was for that very same ri-
ver that she stood next to now to be the one that wound and
splashed right next to her home. Then she began to follow it,
walking purposefully toward Eastmarch, her eyes out for wh-
ere the river pooled into a small lake with an island in the
center, at which point she would head east toward the pine
forest of Falkreath where her home lay hidden away in a large
tree.

Ariaal sighed as she dismounted her horse and began to walk alongside it. She needed to stretch her legs. Ariaal didn't really know why or where she was traveling, just that she was. She wore her steel armour, just in case. She didn't want to wear her Stormcloak armour for obvious reasons, but she also didn't want to wear her elven armour because... ew. Eventually she saw someone walking along the road ahead of her and caught up.
"Hail." She said awkwardly. It looked like they were going the same way, at least for now.

Synette
Synette Greensmith began to walk once more, a bit slowly it
was true, as her gaze remained focused on the stream. How-
ever, she was soon distracted from the site as a clatter of
hooves and armor were heard. She turned her head as some-
one approached and proceeded to address her. The Breton
eyed the newcomer, a bit wary. Though this suspicion eased
notably when the being ushered a friendly welcome and she
decided it was best to respond. "Greetings, traveler. What
brings you down to this part of Skyrim?" She spoke, voice a
little rough from disuse. Her eyes caught on the shiny armor
of the one who stood near her, glistening in what little light
there was this time of day. She felt the slightest bit under
dressed when she compared her leather and pelt outfit to
the shimmering metal armor, or the temporary horse Ardvak
in comparison to the well-groomed steed. One would never
have guessed she was once a noble child, this she was bash-
fully aware of at the moment.

"I travel for work." Ariaal said, which wasn't a lie. "I've been all over Skyrim so many times, but yet each and every time I travel, I fine something new I never would have expected to have found." Ariaal smiled- a real, genuine smile. Even though she hadn't been born in Skyrim, she loved the place almost as much as the native Nords did.

Synette
Synette Greensmith nodded. "Work, of course. Should've realized."
She said, looking up at the traveler. The voice sounded feminine,
and when she looked she swore she could dimly see a mop of hair.
Of course, mop likely wasn't the best word to describe it. But who
ever they were, they seemingly had an appreciation for the land
which was something the girl could respect. "Quite true, the land is
like a forest, with something new lurking behind every tree trunk or
bush... Not that all of Skyrim is a forest, of course, you know. What
with the canyons in the reach or the Eastmarch swamps or the cold
mountains of Winterhold."

Zachariah stepped up behind Za'zah. "He's not lying, Phydra. Have you seen the way he looks at Za'ji? He wouldn't leave her there if he had a choice," he pointed out casually, then added, "And even if he was, it's too late now. The guards are ransacking the place - and speaking of, we should probably get out of here before they, y'know, slaughter us all." They had been none too happy to find one of their own dead in a corner, courtesy of himself. They had almost managed to get him with an arrow while he was escaping, but luckily it had zipped right past his head.
He was beginning to worry about Katarina, as he hadn't seen the woman since this whole thing began. He worried his lip, looking around with an anxious expression on his face. "Have any of you seen Kat?"

"No I haven't seen her." Za'zah said. "She shouldn't be hard to find with that red hair of hers." He said.

Katarina walked up to Dragon's Reach (I think that's what it's called....). The Listener frowned and held her arm. She caught a glimps of the lizard man.

"Yes, I love the swamps." Ariaal stated as she fixed her ponytail. "What's your name?"

Synette
Synette blinked as her eyes continued to adjust to the dark of
the night. "I wish I could tell you of my surname miss, but I'm
afraid I've forgotten half of it over the years. However, you can
call me Synette Green." She said through a still slightly raspy
voice as she offered a hand.
