"There are just more souls for us, right?" Acton pointed out with the smile of a deviant on his face. "So there are vampire hunters, so what? That just tells us there are less competition for food by the time the war's over." Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Avander were watching the two with interest as Acton and Monique talked. However, he didn't care much and focused on Monique again. At first, the thought of looking for a new second in command crossed his mind, then he ignored it.

Ben nodded as the other tolf infront of him spoke and scratched the back of his ear with his hind paw. "Well, I hear my owner calling for me, I hope to see you later on after the battle," The tolf spoke, then turned around and padded away from Twiggy. Twiggy seemed like an oddly interesting character that Ben needed to have an eye on. It was Ben's intuition talking to him. When he managed through a crowd and found Rubis, he felt her nails scratching the same back of his ear that he scratched. "You were actually nice to another animal besides Blanca and your pups? You're so wierd," Rubis mused with amusement wound into her voice as she stroked the creature. "You're not too sane yourself," Ben grumbled, though enjoyed being stroked by his owner.

((I decided Blanca's gonna have her pups after the battle, or sometime after Brandon, Erin, and Twiggy leave. Cause then they'll see the little puppy.... and start thinking XD))

"Kay, see you then!" Twiggy smiled, getting up and stretching before finding Brandon again. Brandon was still glancing around in search of his sister, who was still nowhere in sight. Tiny flames twitched along his fingers from his agitation.

Tyler had went with Rubis, and looked over as Ben came back. "Who was that guy?" He asked Rubis. He seemed familiar, but I've never met him.... he thought.

Giving Tyler a shrug in reply to his question. "His name is Brandon," She answered him, then added, "That's all I know. He's new, I guess." "He's new at the wrong time," Ben grumbled. "Heh," Rubis grunted in response to Ben's rudeness. "Tyler, how are you feeling right now?" The French woman wondered, turning all of her attention back to her boyfriend. It felt like it's been so long that they were apart, but she didn't need to worry about him anymore now that she knew he was safe with her. For now, at least.

Tyler nodded in agreement to Ben. "I'm fine. A bit nervous, but I'm guessing most people are," he said. "How about you? Are you ok?" he asked, worried; he knew she could take care of herself, but he was still worried for her.

"I'm very okay, but very nervous also," Rubis told him, trying to sound brave and reassuring anyways. With her arms around him, she tilted her head against his chest. She wanted to embrace the warm feelings between them before they had to go into battle. Even Ben moved in a little, wounding his long tail around Rubis' leg and leaning against her leg a little. Between the two of them, she felt love coming from the very touch of these two. It made her heart skip beats from the very sensation of how much she's going to miss it if she dies. "I love you both very much," Rubis murmured softly for only the two to hear. With his massive, furry head against her shoulder, Ben nuzzled the back of her neck a little and nodded a little. "Same," Ben grunted.

Tyler hugged her back, resting his head lightly on top of hers. "I love you, too," he whispered.

((Hi people!=D When will the fighting start? *Bounces like a spaxz* oh, veraway, izancai, fall, I'm open if you guys are feeling left out.xD))

"Even better. Though I can't see why those stupid bats don't just drink most of the blood and let us get their souls before they die. Greedy idiots." Monique grumbled, expressing a pet peeve of hers involving vampires. She noticed Acton's gaze shift for a moment, and followed it to see Avander watching them. She gave him a quick wave before turning back to her leader. "Anyway, not like they could stop us form getting what we wanted in the midst of a battle anyway, too bad if they see us, not like they can say 'oh I'm sorry, mind if I go yell at my students?' to whoever they're fighting." Though for some reason she could imagine that annoying Language Arts teacher doing that, not that she ever would, it was the same as imagining Acton trapped in a closet full of cats and freaking out. Never going to happen, but she could picture it.

The whole time, Acton nodded in agreement with Monique, then noticed that everyone started to rush outside about something. Out of curiousity, Acton tapped Monique's shoulder and stood up, walking outside of the gym with everyone else. Apparently, all eyes were on Velius. The Itallian boy had a megaphone in his hand, and he seemed to be shouting something to the crowd. "It's the traitor! He's going to kill us all! We have to stay far away from the buildings--!" Right then, Velius was cut off by the traitor.
