Jamie pulled on his shoes and a hoodie. He'd grab his coat and scarf as he went out after Cukinu said she was ready.
She seems nice. Paine remarked, as quietly as she could. Her voice was naturally very smooth and low so it wouldn't hurt him all that much, but she was still wary.
Really? I thought you'd have some sarcastic comment at the ready.
Paine snorted. Please. Just because you've read one too many fanfiction in which I am written as a sarcastic, suicidal emo does not mean I am like that in real life. Paine moaned.

Paine. "Jamie." The Doctor. "Jessica." Sephiroth. "Ruth."

Cukinu pulled on her sweater, baggy pants and her sneakers. She took a glance out of the window and walked towards the living room. "Mo-om! I'm going out!" She said with a smile, her mother almost jumped out of her chair and looked at her like she was insane. "But, the weather, it's horrible!" She said, Cukinu shrugged. "It's fine mom, I won't go far." Without hearing another word, she was out of the door. "She always like that?" Sakura asked, Cukinu giggled and nodded. "Yeah, that's my mom allright.."

Kohaku held a hand against her head and looked at the skies. "Pein?" She asked, getting a soft 'hm' as a response. "Why's your voice so..... Loud?" She asked, leaning her head against the door. Pein raised an eyebrow. "Don't know." He said simply. Kohaku decided to not ask any further, it really felt as if Pein was talking louder than normal.

Looks like the storm's worsening...... Are you sure you don't want to get home before it gets too out of hand? Naraku asked as Erick was still walking through the store, getting what his mom needed. Yes, I'm sure. Unless they kick us out, I'm not leaving until we have everything. And I was thinking, your Saimyosho wouldn't be to well in the rain, would they? Erick thought back to him in a slightly mocking tone. He just got a 'hmph' in response. Say, why do you seem so loud today? You're on the verge of giving me a headache. Erick thought, getting some crackers and throwing them into the cart. I'm not any louder than I am normally. It's just yourimagination.

Janessa now had everything she needed. Hopefully, she could carry it all. She went to the checkout, and bought everything. It was a little heavy. About five bags. There are times I'd like you to come out and help me. This is heavier than you would imagine them to be. She thought as she trudged towards the door. Well, that's quite a problem, considering I cannot. Legolas said to her with a sigh. Yeah, yeah... No need to remind me. And just to tell you, if I haven't already, you were a lot cooler in the movie. Janessa thought, for about the hundreth time, to him. Yes, I have in fact heard you tell me that before.

Aly finally made it to the check out. Shoe bought everything and started to walk out. "Wait! Oh, darn I left my umbrella at home." She said sadly. So? Just go down the street and buy one. Ty-Lee replied.

Abbie slumped down as she walked through the rain, her shoes slapping down on the concrete and making "Thu-thump" noises. Water splashed up and her jeans were getting wet. "I didn't expect it to rain this hard." Abbie said quietly, looking up at the umbrella that shielded her from the falling moisture. Of course you didn't. You didn't bother to look out the window, did you? Ridely started with a hint of sarcasm and amusement, but then chuckled. It was a low and a bit threatening, just like everything else he said, but Abbie never took notice.

"It wasn't raining that hard whenever I got out here." Abbie snapped, then looked around and noticed in the row of buildings down the street a store. There was a transparent window, though very blurry with rain. Abbie peered inside and her eyes strayed to the large number of people inside. With a wry grin, she stood and watched. Why were there so many in there? It was around closing time, wasn't it?

Silver was getting tired of waiting for something to happen. Nothing would, she knew. She slung open the door to the shop and walked outside. The rain was cold and felt good on Silver's face. Shadow seemed to be growling at something; but as Silver knew, Shadow was usually the one who was mad or upset when everyone else was partying or something. How can you like rain? Shadow said. It feels good! You just don't like it because you're so dense, you would sink in a mud puddle, Silver snapped back. She spread her arms apart and tried to think of the rain as snow, something she hadn't seen since before she moved to Florida from Alaska. It never seemed to do more than rain, and the rain always had the tang and smell of an ocean or swamp. Where she had lived, the water was always sweet and smelled of a babbling creek. Shadow's memories filled her, of where he once lived. She pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the rain, oblivious to anyone around.
OOC: I don't really live in Alaska. I would love to, though.

Somehow, I don't think this is my imagination, Mr. Half-demon. Erick thought to Naraku as he headed up to the check out lanes. You humans are curious folk...... I may have been one once, but you're different than me. Naraku said with a sigh. Like how? We weren't stupid enough to sell our soul to a hoard of demons? Or we weren't stupid enough to put our heart in a little kid that could be killed easily? Erick thought as he started placing items on a counter. Hey, that plan worked. . . . Until InuYasha and friends found him..... But it still worked for a while. And how do you think I got an immortal body? I couldn't have done it if I was a human.

Janessa stopped at the door, and put up the hood to her rain jacket. She nodded lightly to the girl standing outside the store, but continued on her way. So you aren't the only fool to be out here in the rain. Legolas stated, somewhat mockingly. Shut up. You know we have to get home. Janessa thought to him, annoyed. And why's your voice so dang loud!? It's even more annoying than normal....... I don't know. Maybe you're going insane. I'm in your head. It's a possibility.

Abbie whipped around and looked at another person as she walked outside. She didn't say anything and didn't greet her, though. She made a slightly upset face as she looked at the rain. A gust of wind pulled the umbrella out of her hand, and she cussed under her breath. She was sure she heard Ridley laugh. Oh, shut up. Abbie thought sourly. And from the last time she heard him, he sounded slightly louder. She decided not to let it bother her.
Abbie grunted and then looked back at this other girl.
And then, another one approached. "Why are there so many people near the store??"

"I'll just walk in the rain."Aly muttered. She walked outside, getting drenched. Her hair stuck to her face, and she pushed it back. She saw a girl(Abbie) and started to walk over. Wait! I think she...has someone inside of her. Ty-lee said. "Can you whisper? And how do you know? You aren't psycic." Aly rolled her eyes. She looked around. People were starting to leave the store. She waited for something to happen.

Abbie eyed the next girl who came. "Blah... why are there-" she was interrupted. I heard you the first time. Consider shutting up now. Ridley stopped her from continuing. Abbie huffed a breath, still not taking her eyes off of Aly. Ridley let out a low growl. What is it? And stop being so loud.
Ridley didn't reply to the first question for a few seconds. I'm not being loud. he snapped, raising his voice slightly. Ow!! Abbie winced. And the reason I growled is because I think these others share a connection as well. How can you tell? Ridley didn't bother to reply.
