- Optimus felt the anger he’d been pushing down start to boil up. “I’ve long held out hope that Megatron has some good in him, however small the amount. I see now that I was wrong. I fear his hatred will only grow after the events of today.”

Tink looked up at Optimus. "He kept saying your name since we got him back. I think he wants to talk to you." She said softly.

- The leader’s optics softened. “Take me to him.” Optimus said. He was rather touched that Fang had been asking for him. He would have figured the youngling would call out for Ironhide, as the two had a close bond.

Tink nodded in reply, giving a short nod to her twin in a silent response as she lead Optimus to Fang. The youngling laid on a berth, monitors beeping in rhythm to his pulse. Aside from his still scruffed fur, he looked alright.

- “We’re just glad you’re okay. No more wandering off, alright?” Optimus was happy to see that Fang was still his usual friendly self. He’d been worried that the experience would be traumatic. “Would you like to see something cool?” He asked, hoping to brighten Fang’s spirits further.

- Optimus walked over to a nearby table, picking up the Matrix of Leadership. Tink has kept it in the medical bay while the rescue mission was underway. “This is the Matrix of Leadership. It has been passed down from Prime to Prime.” He said.
