Sephiroth was a fairly silent character, but he hadn't said anything all day. All that there had been was a small murmuring in the back of Ruth's head, where Sephiroth's voice usually came from. It was as she was brushing her long, brown hair and staring into the mirror by the light of a candle - all the lights were out, again - that she attempted to address him.
I like my eyes like this. It's like they're shining. Ruth said, referring to the way her eyes had changed colour a few years ago to match Sephiroth's natural eye colour.
Mmm. Sephiroth replied, in a non-committal manner.
Wow, nice to know you're still there. Ruth remarked. What do you know about this storm?
You're on edge. Sephiroth mused, before answering. Ruth held her breath. Don't tell me you're afraid of storms? Or thunder?
Ruth didn't say anything particularly, but Sephiroth could hear the fear resounding in her head.
Let's go outside. Sephiroth said, the smirk very clear in his voice. Perhaps you should find that strange boy with the sword from yesterday. Or maybe someone else of interest.
Paine. "Jamie." The Doctor. "Jessica." Sephiroth. "Ruth."
