Vesta nodded, and moved back so he could check Akiko, hearing the final results she started conversing with Ametye 'Can you take her to the dorms? she asked him, hoping he would say yes.
Why should I do it? Just because I said yes before, doesn't mean I could have changed my mind Ametye argued, sealing their minds so only they could hear the thoughts.
Ametye please? She needs to get back to the dorm, and we have to find this creature before more turn up and then Quaint ends up ebing eaten
But why should we care for this Quaint? Yes, he is charming, maybe he brought them here on purpose and is sending us on a wild goose chase? You never think little one he chastised her.
Vesta pouted, Ametye please, at least take Akiko back to the dorm, she can't stay out here. And I can look after myself she said hugging his leg.
Ametye groaned, Fine, but I will be back in a minute, don't go any where he projected the last thought to all of them before scooping up Akiko gently and flying back to the dorm.

Vesta shifted her gaze to Quaint, A penny is nothing compared to the thoughts of an elf she stated and sat down against a tree waiting for Ametye, she shut her eyes and breathed evenly. Expanding her mind and going around Quaint, this would be the fastest way to find the shadow. Look among the thoughts of the forest animals and search for any disturbances.

Quaint shrugged. Figure of speech dear when one is curious. He tilted his head. If you're searching for the shadow don't even brush against it's mind. You'll be very sorry. He sat down next to her fiddling with his pocket watch.

The shadow shifted amongst the dark places, seeking the blinding light. He picked up a faint trail blown along the breeze, frantic it followed.

Vesta ignored him, not wanting to break her concentration. She gave up after a few seconds, not wanting to touch the shadows mind but feeling intrigued to try even though she knew she would regret it. "Do you ever talk without telepathy?" she asked, sighing and opening her eyes.

Vesta smirked, there was a bit of up stir to the east, but that was a hawk, um... Hunting she looked at the ground, and started drawing in the dirt
