Katarina's vampirism is a source of great pride for her. She loves to be different. She is not much like fairy tale vampires, though. She does not flinch at the name of God, and she can, in fact, walk on hallowed ground. Although the sun isn't particularly harmful to her, it hurts her eyes, so she often wears sunglasses. She doesn't turn into a bat, and she isn't nocturnal. It is true - the parts of lore about iron and wooden stakes. They can kill her. She is also exceptionally fast and strong. As for the blood drinking, she does, in fact, drink human blood. Not from living humans, of course, but from bags donated to bloodbanks. At least, she did before coming to the island. Now she will try hunting for animal blood.

Personality:
Katarina - aka Kat - is a very unique person. She isn't good with authority, at all. In fact, if orders even slightly conflict with her interests, she will ignore them completely. She's also a huge computer geek. Her specialty is hacking. Well, she loves anything mechanical, really. Watches, clocks, cell-phones, laptops, anything. She cannot help herself. When she's alone, she loves to fiddle with the components of devices like these, but she keeps this part of her life a huge secret. Kat is also exceptionally intelligent, and not just for someone her age. She is well-aware of this fact and almost constantly talks down to people. Kat speaks two languages: English and Sarcasm. She loves to make jokes at other people's expenses, and uses sarcasm almost constantly. She's a fiery girl - constantly talking or joking around. She's good at focusing and listening, but not when people tell her to.

Looks:
Katarina is quite small for her age, only about 5'3, and very thin. She doesn't have many curves at all, so she could easily be mistaken for a younger child. Her hair is the most shocking part of her appearance, as it is dyed bright purple (naturally blonde). It is layered and reaches to her mid-back, but she usually keeps it in a ponytail. She is rarely seen without tons of eyeliner and mascara on. Her eyes are a dark blue-grey. Kat normally dresses in black or in metallic colors, usually just shorts and a t-shirt. As with most vampires, she has a cold sort of beauty about her. Her skin is as white as snow and as smooth as marble, but if you look closely you can see the light blue veins just beneath her skin.
