Grace felt alive, like she finally wasn't trapped in her tiny room anymore. Grace used to be a weak seed, using only one of her senses at a time. Now, now she could smell, breath, see, and hear ten times better. Grace felt like a new person. She looked up, getting his scent as she sniffed the air. She trotted happily after him, as if it was a game. She neared in after him, swiftly moving one paw in front of the other. She lifted her lips to show her canines as power. This was the monster inside grace. It would unleash itself at the darkest time, and would go on a killing spree. Grace had no control. She had to sit and watch through the eyes of the monster.

Five years ago, grace had found out that she was going to take her final rest because her power was dangerous. Grace had been devastated, and her power unleashed from her. She killed everyone in her path. The innocent, the evil, all who she killed. People had came there just to make money for their family, even if they hated the job. Luckely, grace only killed seven people, who were replaced easily, but it still troubled her to this day. Grace shivered as the thought haunted her.

Grace licked her teeth as she ran with Shawn. Her body was hidden amongst the trees, but she had full sight on him. She had difficulty deciding how she'll play her next move, but she had him set.grace ran full speed in front of him, then stopped in front o his path. The boy must of been looking behind because he tripped over her, falling faceplant to the ground. Grace trotted over to him, placing herself on top of him. She growled, making sure he knew she had him under her control. Grace snapped at shawns arm, digging her teeth into his wrist. Blood drooped down, which grace licked with her tongue. Grace growled as she sunk her teeth deep down his wrist.

{sorry about the wrist, if your incomfortable with it, don't be afraid to tell me. I won't harm much, just four holes in his wrist XD}

After falling over the furry creature, monster, whatever Grace was now called, he managed to turn over onto his back. Took just long enough for her to trot over and stand above him. Fear was clear as day on his face, and it didn't help when she growled. Shawn's breath quickened when she bit into his wrist. Hard. If there was one thing he was good at, it was not passing out due to pain. He did scream though, couldn't stop that from coming up. Also, it happened that his ice power was far from mind, and totally completely out of sight. Trying to jerk his hand out of her mouth, he felt his fingers brush her canines, and then he could only guess at what animal form she was. White fur, grey / brown spots, large teeth. She was, in all means of the word, a Snow Leopard.
That made his blood chill, the realization that when she meant monster, she was talking about this. An animal. A snow leopard wasn't a monster, right? Yeah, but it was still able to kill a whole lot more then its fair share of people.
Feeling his hand go lax, Shawn knew a nerve had been bitten into when more then just the sharp pain of her biting into his wrist made his hand try to spasm. If it wasn't so painful, it would have been funny. Snow leopards lived in cold climates, and guess who Grace decided to go after? The guy who produced ice through his hands.
Ice. Ice! Why hadn't he thought of this earlier! Okay, that might not be the best idea, he was pinned under her, his wrist in her mouth- That just sounds wierd. . . Shawn tried to pry at her jaws to get his arm free, but he wasn't even sure he succeeded in that. Pain, that was the one thing stopping him from slipping into unconsciousness, and later he would end up dreading that being the only thing.
Breathing faster again, Shawn tried a tactic, his last option really. Calling out to Grace, not this. . .Snow leopard. "Grace! Please, stop!" Okay, that was kinda lame. He had to admit it, but when all of this goes by in seconds, how does one come up with something better?

Feeling heat from energy her eyes snapped up to see the small sparking of his hands that so much have grabbed her attention. She wondered what his power might be on account for those sparks, but even with that she knew it must be better then owning another soul inside her body that desired blood from anything she had in her hands. Drawing out form her thoughts she coudl see faster lighting sparks come from his hands as if it was a lighter. She watched as he brought them closer to the flames as if to fuel them by his own sparks he was makign form his hand, and her eyes from each spark glittered softly in the dark moonlighten night. Though when he spoke her eyes stared blankly into the licking flames at danced in her mind, but when he finished words came out of her like sweet calm music to her like the fire was in her moment. "No, not my mind, or my hands. My power only. Also its okay Alec, I am alright with it," she spoke out softly before looking up from the flames to stare at him with her green eyes that did change. They where painted green on her once brown, and it would have been fine if she had normal pupils as well. Her's where snake like with crystal like shape inside the emerald stone that layed as her color. They went small against the bright light, but only just a milimeter or two, but why would she should him her eyes of her other side? Something flicked off inside her head to show them, as if she was as lost as he was. Of course she had another soul living there by her gaze, but anyone might tell it was just a power, but to her a curse.

Catch a Fire, Catch a Fire

Listening to her speak, Alec's eyes watched the flames dance upwards, trying to get higher and higher. Every time something licked them out of the nights sky, and they would again just try again. To him, his life was like the flames. He was always in a good spirit, and then came along something to knock him from his mood. Every. Time. Right now he could be in a good mood, though he had somethings bogging him down. Letting his gaze fall onto Lulu, he studied her a little. She had just told him it was from her power that she had lit the fire, but then what was that power? Surely it wasn't fire like his own, or gases.
Cracking a slight smile at the thought, Alec flipped his hands over so that his palms were facing the rock. Fingers sliding along the length of one, he turned his eyes back to the sky for a minute. Same as normal, moon, stars, endless blackness. He let a sigh escape from between his lips, and for a second his facial expression turned to that of a weary kid. Sliding his line of vision back over to the girl across from him, Alec gazed at her eyes. There was just enough moonlight for him to tell that they were green, or maybe brown, without a normal pupil. Like a cats eye, they had the slit through the middle instead of a regular, round pupil. Brows furrowing a little bit, he opened his mouth the speak, though better of it, and closed it again. What was with her eyes?
A longer spark burst from his finger tips, and his attention was diverted away from her. He hadn't noticed, but in his daze his right hand had gotten that numb feeling. Quickly, he lifted it to the bottom of the flames. The heat didn't bother him, at least not yet it didn't.
"Don't. Spook." His voice was calm, and very serious, for once though, he felt uneasy about how someone might react to his power. "Please?" Alec added, voice a little softer. So many people thought his power was cool, being able to have his hands, feet, and finger tips combust into flames. It wasn't, and most of the 'doctors' as he called them, reminded him of this every day.
He watched Lulu carefully, till his vision turned black and he felt heat begin to prick at the palm of his hand. That was the problem with it, when it started to grow more powerful, the less he could see. And, as of now, he could see nothing, which meant his hand was probably fully covered by flames. Not being able to see bothered him, and as much as he used his power, he still couldn't get over how weak he felt when his eye sight was gone.
Right hand moving slowly away from the fire pit, Alec tried to get control over the fire on his left, but he couldn't. Starting to freak out a little, as he hadn't really used his power for more then three seconds, it was hard to keep the appearance of calm. The hand that was not on fire still, his right one, rose to hold his head up. His breathing was a little faster, making the rise and fall of his chest quicker also. All around, he was starting to let the 'cool' act drop.

Her eyes widen softly as his entire hand begin somewhat inside the flame of the fire, but he told her to stay calm in the best way possible to her, so she easily leaned back on the grass under her to watch him try with his might to control his power. It was fasinating. His power felt more trainable then hers that would rip out for bloodlust any moment, and with the raptor enjoying her mind she could somewhat not even feel him with the tonight's actions. It was strange. Locking eyes with her he watched her carefully till his eyes turned black under the fires licking at his hands, and feet, and for a moment she could almost wonder if it was darkness that kept hold inside of him and if it ment to run. Then something began to get her orders of staying still to drop when Alec began to panick under the darkness of his eyes. Carefully, she moved aroudn the fire to where he sat trying to get himself under control, though not caring about the anger she might get she leaned forward to his ear to whisper soft sounds of her voice to hope to calm him. "Shh, its alright your not in danger. Relax. I will be your eyes for now, just focus on the power," she told him in a soft cooing voice that even to her was unnerving she even had one. She wished there was somethign she could do to help him besides speaking though for now she hoped he could her her to get control of his slight panick attack.

Lips persing as he heard her move around the fire and over to him. Lulu's words calmed him a little, but they didn't have much effect. Words were just words, and could easily be faked. Digging his finger nails into his scalp, he did what she told him to do. Concentrate, just think of the fire, Alec let out a soft, fast breath as he tried to get control of the flames that were slowly growing bigger by the second. He could feel them start to travel up his wrist, and the feeling didn't help him to try and calm down. "Keep talking, please," The words, barely above a whisper, brought him back to the present.
"About anything, It- It helps?" Sounded somewhat like a question to him, but he ignored it and forced himself to consentrate on his power.
He wasn't able to see, but Alec could picture his hand and the flames engulfing it. When he curled his fingers into a fist, the fire died a little, then grew a few inches. Flexing his fingers back out in a quick motion, the flames shot into different directions like water droplets. "What the-" Alec started to speak, then the picture was gone, and he was again blinded fully.

She nodded when he asked her to speak again, and though without caring she began to tell him of her power even though telling it might cause him to run away she hoped he would stay despite her story of her curse. Sighing out a long breath of air she was about to begin when suddenly his voice brought her down at his hand which without her eyes watching had shot of fire strikes in different directions. One made its way across her leg like a fire blade which not to mention was burning the skin as well as cuasing her to cridge in pain from the fire. She dared not to scream of cause Alec to do even more of the fire shots at her, but already she could feel her sences of the beats kicking in to overload when she was in danger, and thats is what she felt. Trying to keep herself under control she lifted her body up to whisper more words of comfort to him even though her voice was damaged a bit by the pain. "I have always had this curse from the first day that I can bring back. The day I had receieved this sort of half power half curse, and the day I can easily remember in my mind. Everything before it is gone from that day, and even for me I had to think of a name to call myself, my age, everythign was sort of builded up from that day with this beats inside of me. Not a dragon, animal, but a claws bloodlusting Raptor of the past when dino's ruled," she spoke out kind of pained at the memories. "Ever sence then I was different and more secretive with him in me, and even then in the forum does my body grow loving to the evil side. I can tell you know myhand shifed into raptor to start the fire. My eyes. My raw meat love. I guess thats me now, but your power is something that I always wanted. To have a past, not be evil, and to control it. Your's is amazing even though it burns," she said softly and quite breathless. Though really she felt those worlds come out like flowing water which was odd sence she was so secretive, but it didn't matter that he knew her. If he dared to mock her or kill her she could easily despatch him quickly. What?! She was thinking weridly now. No. She took deep breaths to calm her nerves, and her fast pacing heart.

I'm All Alone, And There's No One There Beside Me,

Shocked by her words, Alec was stunned for a minute. She could become a raptor? That was way better then your hands combusting at random times! His fire died a little, then came alive again, the flames in his palm becoming more of blue then orange. How could that be a curse? Being able to be a Dino? That wasn't a curse, that was freakin' awesome! He would've loved to trade their powers, but thats not how things worked, did they? Having to come up with a new name and age, your own forgotten, that wasn't something he wanted to live through though.
He could picture it then, the flames again, and how they flickered around his fingers. It was growing, becoming more and more wild as it climbed up his arm. Drawing a deep breath inwards, he slowly let it out, and tried to press his palm into the warm rocks. No luck. Alec could feel his energy take a massive decline. He felt oddly light headed, and the flames in his hands flickered before finally dying out. Once the last flame of fire curled around his ring finger and died, he callapsed backwards, hitting the ground hard.
Groaning softly, he rolled his head over to look at Lulu. First thing his eyes spotted, was the fire on her leg. "You're hurt," Alec, despite his own weakness, sat up again with concern for her. "You need water on that," Without really asking, he stood and took one staggering step, shaking his head to clear the last of the fading confusion the fire brought along with it. "My fault, so don't argue," He glanced up to her eyes before easily lifting her up into his arms, well aware that the fire was still burning.
"Why didn't you make mention that I'd gotten you? Was it when I shot the mini fire-balls? Was that it? I knew that was a bad idea, Just don't move and I should be able to help you out a little with that."
Walking through the trees, he headed for the small stream they had met each other at. "And don't try to talk you way out of this, I'm not taking a chance that the one person that knows about my power and doesn't freak, dies. Not that you will, I'm just saying, it may be a possibility, and I'm going to be quick quiet now." Cheeks burning from embarrassment, he bit his bottom lip to keep from talking more. He was nervous, and scared that he may have caused her serious pain.
