Lance smiled revealing his fangs. "Vampire." he responded and looked at Des with worried eyes. He gave her a look as if asking her if she wanted to leave and find something else to do.

Pearl giggled. "Thats cool." Mostly talking to Lance, she blushed. She then turned Desdemona. "A demon? Wow, that's pretty awesome!"

"Um... thanks." Desdemona said. Pearl probably knew how uncomfortable she was. She returned Lance's look with one that said that she didn't care what happened. As long as he was okay...

Lance winked at Des then turned back to Pearl. "Well, we both got some homework to do, so I guess we'll see you around." He smiled his friendly smile and started to head towards the edge of the rock to get into the water.

Pearl nodded turning back into her dragon form. "Alright. I guess I should head out and unpack my stuff." She giggled, "It was nice to meet you both! I'll see you around!" She smiled and dove into the water.

Desdemona nodded to Pearl when she said goodbye. Once the dragon-girl was out of sight, Des sighed. "Sorry, Lance." she said.

Xavier looked at the demon, cocking his head to one side in an almost childish manner. He stole a glance at Alex, spreading his palm in a gesture that said don't move, then turned back to the small boy. "Indeed we are. I ask the boy's name only so that I can know more about him. I think it is quite obvious that it is now my responsibility to look after the boy's well-being. I am not violent by nature, demon, but should you harm the boy, I shall not merely stand by and watch." then he chuckled softly, a rare action for an angel, "I share that hope. Desperately." when the demon spoke to Alex, he listened. He would have to remind Alex of this - that the boy wasn't to be harmed. As the small boy walked away, Xavier debated killing the demon. There was, however, the problem that the demon and boy were closely bound. It was difficult to separate two entities that had shared the same body, even if it was for a short time. It could be near impossible depending on how long the demon had inhabited the child. Xavier decided then - he would keep a very close eye on the child. He would protect him, and should things go wrong, exorcise his demon. Even after the boy walked away, Xavier could feel the back of his neck prickling. There were more demons around - perhaps not close, but on the island.

Lance hugged Desdemona. "Don't be sorry hun." He smiled at her when he pulled away. "Come on. Lets head back before it gets too late." He dove into the water, head first, and started swimming towards the opening of the cave.

"Right." Desdemona smiled a little. She dove underwater and followed him, a million thoughts running through her mind at the same time.

(Ooc: I have a real quick question. Is Alex still following Noah/Asgareoth or not? I don't want to post that is is when he isn't and vice-versa! XD )

Lance came to the surface and swam to the shore. He turned to see if Des was still behind him.

Desdemona surfaced a few seconds after Lance. She made her way to the shore and smiled at him. It was getting dark out.
