I yawned and set the empty bowl that had once held ice cream on the coffee table. I looked out the window to the rising sun. "I really should be going. The flo..." I coughed to stop myself from finishing 'the flock' "[color=#BF0000]My friends must be wondering where I am." [/color] I stood and brushed off the jeans. I wonder if I can keep them? They do fit nicely.
"Are they...like you?"'he asks standing with me. I nod reluctantly. He smiled and found the scissors and sliced two slits over the length of my wings in the shirt. He brought out a black jacket and stuck it over my arm. I thanked him and headed over to the door. "Wait!!" he brought over a few large bags. They held food and water. He ran to the back of the house and came back with a chain wallet. I shook my head and threw the bags over my shoulders. He pulled out a wad of cash and handed it to me. I sighed and shrugged, sticking it into my back pocket. I hugged him and opened the door. "If you need anything, you know where to find me." he says. I stepped out side and pushed my wings threw the slits in the shirt. I turned to wave before running to take off to the skies. I spiraled up and flew towards the cave.
