Remus followed the Snakes too the entrance and glanced around the hallway once more. He swallowed and shook his head, following the students to the daylight. He blinked a few times at the light.

Adrina smiled. "So...How's life for you, Chase?" she asked.

Chase blinked at the odd question. "How's life? Er, fine I suppose." he said awkwardly. How was he supposed to respond? He glanced at her.

Lexi yawned widely. She actually hadn't slept in two days, too nervous for Zark to actually sleep at all. "Professor Lupin? Can I...er..have a pass for classes today? I'm sort of wiped really, I might as well just sleep all day." she rubbed her eyes for extra effect.

Remus looked round at Lexi "I am not your head of the house,Lexi, so I cannot decide"

She sighed. She couldn't defy Snape, no matter how tired she was. "I guess I'll just sleep during Potions or something." she shrugged. Lexi glanced at the sky, breathing deeply.

Zark looked at Lexi, noticing the dark circles under her eyes. "Lexi...How long has it been since you've slept?" he asked.

Adrina chuckled. Why do I feel so...connected with him? I barely know his name... she complained mentally.

"Huh? Oh...um....2 days? 3 days?" she said casually, looking at him. Her green eyes were dull, and she didn't seem quite as bright. She wasn't sleeping mostly because of the nightmares...the horrible nightmares. As well as worry over Zark.


He gave her a quirky half smile. "Tell me about life in the states." he said, shifting his position on the rock to gaze at her.

"Three days?!" Zark was astounded. How could anyone go without sleep for even a day? He knew he couldn't. The worry was evident all over, in his eyes, etc., etc.

Adrina laughed. "For one thing, we get more days of sun than here, but that's not the biggest thing. In the States, there's a lot more...meat when we eat. I swear, it's like the house-elves think we're some sort of herded animal...Nothing but greens and plants..." she complained. "Of course, there's the eggs at breakfast, but seriously..."
