Lance smiled his charming smile in greetings at the dragon. "Sorry I woke you.."

Alex sighed as the boy..er.. demon.. walked off. He decided to follow it close behind, to see what he had in store. He had to ,somehow, protect the other students that went here.

Pearl nodded in greeting as she shifted back into her human form. She brushed her hair out of her face and smiled. "Sorry if I scared you guys. A lot of people don't know how to approach a dragon.." She giggled and blushed when she saw Lance's smile.

Desdemona smiled. "I'm Desdemona." she said to to Pearl. "That's Lance. It's nice to meet you."

Pearl smiled. "It's nice to meet you both. I'm Pearl." She never really looked at Desdemona. She couldn't help but keeping an eye on Lance. He was VERY handsome and something about him that she wanted to find out about. She smiled at Lance.

Lance smiled back Pearl. "It's nice to meet you too, Pearl." It was a bit awkward that Pearl wouldn't stop staring at him and all he could do is smile to be nice. He sighed mentally, thinking that the girl he likes A LOT is standing right beside him and another girl that seems pretty cool just because she's a dragon is right in front of him. Not to mention she was staring him down like a puma!

Desdemona bit her lip, thankful that this motion was hidden by her mask. The way Pearl looked at Lance... it made her feel weird. She wasn't aware that demons from the sixth circle had the feeling of jealousy. No. She told herself firmly. You do NOT have a crush on Lance. She was such a horrible liar that she couldn't even lie to herself.

Pearl smiled and put out her hand to help Lance up on the ledge.

Lance took her hand and pulled himself up on the rocky area. "Thanks." he said softly to Pearl, who didn't even acknowledge that Desdemona was still there. He put his hand out for Des and gave her a look as if saying he was sorry that Pearl was acting like that. He didn't really understand why. He wasn't very good when it came to girls' feelings.

Desdemona took his hand and pulled herself up. "Thanks." she muttered. Okay, she was most definitely, very jealous now. She avoided looking at Lance, hoping that he wouldn't be able to tell how uncomfortable she was.

Brady notices Saphira and shifts into a parrot. "now I'm safe to show my bird identity" he thought. He swoops down and lands on her shoulder. He quietly squacks cuz' he was right next to her ear.

Lance looked at Des and sighed. He slipped his hand into her, intertwining their fingers, showing that he cares for no one except her at the moment.

Pearl watched Lance slip his hand into Des's. She sighed. "So what are you guys' abilities? Of course you already saw mine." She giggled.

Desdemona blushed slightly as Lance took her hand. "I'm a demon." Desdemona said, her voice soft. She was acting very out of character. She was supposed to be a demon: proud and arrogant. Not a shy girl who was afraid to hold her friend's hand.
