"We shall see..." Haji murmured under his breath....


The rest of the ride was in pensive silence. Erica was radiating tension, and it was annoying him. Eventually they pulled into the train station and Haji and Erica were told that it was safe to get off. Haji however, not trusting his traveling companion, picked the girl up and slung her over his shoulder once more, carryng her into the busy train station and through the throngs of people heading home.

Erica had her arms crossed, but wasn't struggling. She knew he wouldnt just let her go if she tried to escape, so why would she try to even run.

Haji carted Erica all the way to the hotel where they where they would be staying for the night. He plopped her down onto the mattress of the single bed after shutting and locking the doors. "I trust you'll stay here?" he asked, but 'trust' was a bit hard for him to spit out.

Erica sighed and laid down, to tired to even fight back at this moment. "Yeah.... I promise..." she yawned and curled up into a ball.

Haji hned, waiting until she was asleep before going over to sit in the windowsill ad watch the sky for morning.

She slept peacfully, being a day sleeper ment she could sleep through a car crash.

Morning arrived, and Haji proceeded to take Erica down to the HQ. The city was crowded, and bustling with morons who couldn't drive, or barely speak english, or both. The Chevalier didn't say anything, or get into any arguments on his merry trip down to the facility. He kept quiet and did his job, taking a fugitive to be placed into the rightful custody of the Red Sheild.

Erica woke up, blinking against the harsh light, but she didn't struggle. She just sort of hug limp on Haji's broad shoulder. She watched the back of his heels, sighing gently.

Haji shifted the weight on his shoulder as he approached a rather intimidating building. It was made of tinted glass, and rose quite a bit into the sky. The Chevalier merely glanced up at the mighty structure before entering its doors. The inside of the building was pristine, and had that 'big corporation' look to it. Haji supposed it was a good disguise, and he paused to fish around in his pocket for his id.

Erica squirmed slightly, not liking the sudden change. "I can walk you know..." she grumbled sourly, jabbing him in the back with a finger before crossing her arms across her chest.
